We certainly are getting to the point that we need guys to be getting better quicker than predicted, rather than having these continuous ‘setbacks’.

If Rupp and Pukki are fit for midweek, we have Emi available, so that would be a start; Todd and Xavi seem to be unknowns.

Just watched Brizzle play Reading. Two bunches of carthorses with the collective first touch of Andy Hughes. 

Having said that, I wouldn't mind signing Lucas João. Reckon he'd be handy in the Prem.

Just wondering about us only naming 6 subs - given that we are at home and presumably have our u23/u18 squads that we could name from, it seems a bit odd.  Are we restricted by the homegrown rule in some way - ie that they will count ‘against’ in some way as not having been here long enough? If so, that shows the rules up a daft.
