Garth Crooks is a 0 Posted January 24, 2006 With what is looking like a majority of fans calling for Worthless to go - who would you bring into Norwich. My opinion is that it needs to be someone with a terrific record in the transfer market, developer of young talent and a decent motivator. I would therefore not go for someone with experience of the Championship or an ageing/expensive manager. My choice would therefore be Paul Hart or Danny Wilson. Cantiaci Canary 610 Posted January 24, 2006 I would go for a manager with proven credentials. Someone with a passion for the club, someone who knows the club inside out, someone with a record of attracting and signing big name players, someone who will stretch the clubs financial capabilities to the maximum without risking its security, someone who has got a club our size to a play off final or even someone who with what is available at a club like ours has won the league, someone with Premiership experience, someone who will pack out Carrow Road .... hang on a minute!Correction, the majority of Norwich City football fans are football canny folk who appreciate reason, trust, loyalty and sense. Worthington is the manand it is times like this that he and the players REALLY need our support (even if it is forgiving) rather than when Leon is condemning Manchester United to a Carrow Road beating. PLEASE THINK!

Reading_canary Rob
How degrading is it to have to have an Ipswich fan as your head of year?!
0 Posted January 24, 2006 Realistically, we''re hardly going to poach a manager from a side that''s playing well, i.e, Southend for example. However, providing the board remove Worthington and prevent him from spending the Ashton transfer fee, I''d feel we''d have suitable bate to catch another Manager. My choices would be:Martin Allen Mike Newell Peter TaylorPeter Jackson Steve TilsonKenny JackettDanny Wilson
We need a Manager 0 Posted January 24, 2006 I would take just about anybody as long as its not Worthington , who i fully believe to be one of Norwich Citys worst ever managers, Hamilton and Rioch would have done a better job if given the money Worthingtons had. Mello Yello 2,572 Posted January 24, 2006 For the short term, keep it ''in house'' and put Dave Williams in charge of the squad till May......Then if successful, give him the coaching job.......Then during the close season, we get Mr Boothroyd over from "Whatfor!" as Manager! It''s so easy, gis a job on the board........I can cook, drink wine, socialise with the affluent, make an ass of myself when I''m p*ssed, tell porkies, patronise people (even if I can''t tolerate them), sit in the Barclay and wave me scarf a bit. I am skint though and I haven''t got 2 ha''pennies to rub together - but I reckon I can ''blag it'' that I''m serious when it comes down to running a footy club, and quadruple the annual turnover!........Apparently, the club shops are sellin'' balaclava''s in club colours. They haven''t got any eye holes though?........When asked why the said balaclava''s have no eye holes? a spokesperson for NCFC said: "Well it''s just another way of pullin'' the wool over the fan''s eyes.......OTBC ;~)
Cantiaci Canary 610 Posted January 24, 2006 Premier1 people are entitled to opinions but when those people spout such utter falsehoods ''Worthy is our worst ever manager'' the weight of their point vanishes entirely. How many Norwich managers have won won the league? Yes it is history but it''s Worthington''s history and he has earned more repsect than that totally unfustified accusation. PLEASE THINK! Tacklebury 0 Posted January 24, 2006 Hamilton would have been better? This is the same Hamilton that wasted money on numerous no-hopers - including the very expensive Steve Walsh and Tony Cottee? Don''t talk rubbish. Also, whilst Worthington might be making a mess of things now, he has led us to promotion and very nearly kept us there. To call him one of the very worst managers we''ve had here is harsh, I''d say.
Hankster 0 Posted January 24, 2006 Nice one Premier1. I didn''t know it was April Fools Day today, time certainly flies when your having fun!
Jimaldinho 0 Posted January 24, 2006 My choice would be Martin Allen, hes working wonders at Brentford at the moment and he has a good relationship with their fans. Also i believe he says things as they are!!!
A Load of Squit 6,260 Posted January 24, 2006 You''ve got to go for someone who''s displayed a in depth knowledge of football at all levels and players, for me its got to be Paul Rankin.
