silver fox 0 Posted November 29, 2005 Apparently Nigel was pleased with the way McVeigh was back to his old self against Coventry, cutting in from the left, and wants to see some consistency. Let me give you a tip Nigel, start with McVeigh on the left and see what happens. If you want consistency then start by playing people in their best position, not one that suits the shape of the team.

Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted November 30, 2005 Exactly - AND while we are at itDARREN HUCKERBY CAN play up front. In fact he played most of his career there and actually looked best playing there for playing with McVeigh on the left or up front as part of a 3 Im sure if hucks trained to play up front after a couple of games he would be back to his best
kennyfoggo 0 Posted November 30, 2005 and stop trying to make him a defender.. as well some players can add that aspect some can''t

Rossi 0 Posted November 30, 2005 paul, whenever hucks plays up front and mcveigh on the left, they end up standing in the same area of the pitch, when deano wins any headers, they go to no-one

Robbo007 0 Posted December 1, 2005 Alot of people who don''t watch Norwich games have been posting on this thread i take it.1 - Huckerby never plays well up-front. We never have any chances with Hucks up front because no-one in midfieild creates anything. Hucks drifts to the left when upfront. Huckerby is not a striker2 - McVeigh played his 1 decent game in 5 when he came on against Coventry. He lacks consistency where-ever he plays. Don''t forget earlier in the season he played excellently up-front for a couple of games, and then after that he was anonymous
