Surfer 1,547 Posted August 27, 2020 (edited) A few days ago the question was asked “ do you feel sympathy for those who contributed to the build the wall scam” that Bannon et al have been indicted for and will now stand trail for. in a similar way I ask “ do you feel sympathy for the teenage gunman who killed protestors in Wisconsin” ? The answer is I do, in the same way I feel sympathy for the Hitler Youth roped in to defend a corrupt and racist ( and yes also fascist) regime too. Those that need to be prosecuted (although he will deservedly be too) are those that put the ideas into his head, excused the behavior that led to this moment, and continue to deflect and minimize intimidation and terrorizing actions. Unregulated Militia - viliganties - private army - civil war. The link is clear and proven by history. I’m looking at you Rupert Murdoch, Carlson Tucker, Paul Ryan, Sean Hannity. You have this puppet and his supporters in the palm of your hand, why do you hate your fellow citizens so much you spew stories of fear day in day out? Surfer 1,547 Posted August 27, 2020 Then they will understand “it’s just business” when they are sued into oblivion in January. If there are no principles of 1st Amendment rights to free speech, and it’s just about money, then let us consign them and Facebook to the scrap heap, someone else can pick up the assets and seek to “rebuild shareholder value.”
SHRIMPER 328 Posted August 27, 2020 I hope you are right about January. FAKEBOOK would be removed immediately if I had my way.

Surfer 1,547 Posted August 27, 2020 And this sequence is why Fox / Murdoch Inc should never be allowed to create a propaganda channel in the UK. Willfully misrepresenting facts - and not correcting things over time either - just plowing ahead with a narrative of hate and division.
keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted August 28, 2020 The billboards began popping up along a desert stretch of highway in Arizona and California in early August — plastered with "Make America Great Again!" in large capital letters or an image of President Donald Trump looking up to the sky and giving a big thumbs up. The small company that funded the large billboards had just months earlier received a large cash infusion backed by the same administration now being celebrated, public records show. Jones 1 Inc. was approved for a loan of between $150,000 and $350,000 at the end of April through the federal government's Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), which was set up to help struggling small businesses save jobs during the pandemic. The company, which owns a small Shell gas station and travel center in Needles, California, went on to lease "six beautiful Trump billboards" near the border of California and Arizona, which a local group of Lake Havasu Republicans heralded — thanking "a generous Trump supporter." keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted August 29, 2020 I think a lot is dependent on how the protests/riots progress. Trump will ramp it up by sending in federal troops deliberately. Of course the usual states will always vote Republican so the amount is of little consequence. Biden has to win the swing states which I think he will because so many of the voters in them will be troubled by Trump not the Republicans.

Biden still 7 points ahead and still ahead in the swing states. And that is on the back of Trump going second which always creates a swing. But more tuned in to Biden than Trump. Only 19 million Americans watched Trumps speech. You keep right on believing that the idiot can keep getting away with lying to the swing voters.

The key from below - Independents favor Biden message by 51% to 39% No slowing down in CV-19 deaths (1,200 yesterday), 30 million unemployed as a result of Trump's inaction So roll out the Fascist "violent Socialist takeover of our street" argument - he doesn't care who gets killed. Unfortunately this is not just Trump, it's the entire Republican Party behind this "violence" propaganda. Edited August 30, 2020 by Surfer

Surfer 1,547 Posted August 30, 2020 The RWNJ,’s starting to panic, violence their last card to play. This unholy US/UK alliance of anti-democracy will be unrolled and all the Russia influence will finally come to light. Good news for everyone.... Maybe those promoting Trumps ability to win in Nov 2020 should worry more about BJ’s ability to survive until then - Labour now tried and the Government about to become an illegitimate minority in the eyes of the people. keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted August 31, 2020 Do you seriously wonder, Mr President, why this is the first time in decades that America has seen this level of violence? It’s you – who have created the hate and the division,” Mr Wheeler said. Wheeler is the Mayor of Portland.
Surfer 1,547 Posted August 31, 2020 (edited) Like in Weimar Republic Germany, the Armed Forces do not support the President. Why he so heavily praises his "militia" ?? The playbook is not new. Surfer 1,547 Posted August 31, 2020 (edited) Biden has restated his position on violence on the streets - the President has another opportunity to try and frame Biden as a supporter of "violent left wing agitators" tomorrow..... I'm sure that will go well. Or not. "Rioting is not protesting. Looting is not protesting. Setting fires is not protesting. None of this is protesting. It's lawlessness. Plain and simple. And those who do it should be prosecuted" https://twitter.com/CNNPolitics/status/1300492380001513473 Edited August 31, 2020 by Surfer
