king canary 8,751 Posted January 5, 2018 According to Nick Mashiter we want him, currently on loan at Notts County from Nottingham Forest. Midfielder.

Bethnal Yellow and Green 2,424 Posted January 5, 2018 Like Onel Hernandez a left sided attacking midfielder who likes to cut in onto his right foot. Norwich certainly looking at options in wide positions, but as Farke has said, the club need to move players on before they can bring anyone in. Guess Hernandez or Grant will be dependent on Wildschut or Naismith being moved on.The report in the Mail makes him sound, dare I say it, a little bit like Pritchard. Badger 2,745 Posted January 5, 2018 Agree Bethnall - were also linked with a another pacy, right sided attacking midfielder a couple of weeks ago - name escapes me.

Icecream Snow 777 Posted January 5, 2018 Seems a bit of a strange one. Nick Mashiter''s proven he''s well connected with Stuart Webber, so it''s probably true. He''s on a season loan to Notts County, so if we got him for the summer he''d be nearly 24, having made little impact at Forest. Though with Warburton gone, someone might want to take a second look at him.Guess he''d be a summer replacement for Pritchard.

Bethnal Yellow and Green 2,424 Posted January 5, 2018 If Forest want to sell him, they can recall Grant from loan at County during the transfer window and then sell him on. This transfer could happen in this window. I wonder if this has come out as clubs are trying to push Forest into making a decision before they appoint a new manager who might not want to sell him. Warburton was sacked along with McParland who was in charge of transfers so the club is in a little disarray at the moment - other clubs often use this as an opportunity to try and sign players. AJ 1,358 Posted January 5, 2018 At 24 he''s certainly the kind of player we should be looking at. Made enough of an impression at Forrest to get himself a new deal until 2020 in the summer, and he''s been playing well this season albeit in league 2. Certainly makes no sense to sign him unless you''re expecting players to leave so would imagine that is the case. League 2 to the champ is a big jump though. As Bethnal suggests, maybe we''re trying to force their hand before the chance is gone.
Icecream Snow 777 Posted January 5, 2018 Forest fans seem to think he''s found his level at league 2.
Nuff Said 5,960 Posted January 5, 2018 I would have said Forest fans didn''t think that much of Oliviera either, which shows what they know, but after the last couple of months....
Paul101 190 Posted January 5, 2018 Forest fans raved about him and wanted to resign that was from all the forums I read yes you got the odd moan but most where upset they failed to sign him
