Feel sorry for away fans

Recommended Posts

To travel there and watch your team play like they don''t care if we win or not can''t be easy. 2 1/2 thousand fans there today supporting city ,they deserve better .

Can''t disagree with that at all. After last weeks good display a complete no-show today. In a howling gale it cost a travelling Norfolk adult the thick end of £100 at Vicarage Rd today. It''s not surprising that people chose to watch it at home or in the pub instead.I''d need to get bladdered to dull the pain too so it''d be an even lighter wallet plus an inevitable hangover tomorrow to add to the weekend''s misery....

Right, so...

You didn''t travel to the game today

So you don''t know how the team looked or played

So the idea "they don''t care" is made up by you

So really this is just you crying into your mirror and feeling sorry for yourself

Thanks for this thread.

You shouldn''t. It''s our choice to travel to games. It''s nowhere near as bad as the ''play for the nil regardless of the opposition''s score approach'' under Hughton. This was, however, the worst performance of the season, and that includes the Newcastle games. No guile, no tactics, no belief and worst of all no effort. At least it was one of the shorter drives back to Norfolk.

There was an excellent stream, I know this because I watched it, so...

I think the OP can be pretty certain of what he witnessed today, and his description is fairly accurate tbf.

Well I was there, and although some, and one in particular criticises your post, I don''t.

The team looked unbalanced, there was no creativity in midfield, and it did appear that too many of them did not care.

It was the poorest game I have witnessed from an AN side, no pace, no zest, we created nothing, we defended very very poorly again, and we''re not up for the fight against a team who are equally as poor. We played nothing but hoofball, long long hopeful punts to forwards who quite simply are not good enough at premiership level, with a total of three goals between them!

Right so...........

You own a PC yet haven''t discovered football streams.

So YOU don''t know how the team looked or played.

So any opinion you have is irrelevant.

So really this is you trying to be a smart a**e and failing

Thanks for the reply.

Probably worth mentioning in amongst all this whining that whilst we performed badly, look at it from the other side. Watford would have seen this as a must get 3 pointer. I think Norwich fans are getting carried away and expecting a win against a team like Watford even away from home. People may not like this but Watford were rightfully favourites played well and won. I was hoping we''d grab a point but didn''t expect anything from Arsenal last week so swings and roundabouts.

I am anything but a binner, but have been to away games over 31 seasons and seen many poor performances and know what it feels like ,don''t mind losing ,used to it by now but it''s the manner you lose what counts ! I

The op is a binner wind-up. Well done for backing him up.

I''m not backing anyone up - it''s true, I was there H, and it was embarrassing and God damn awful.

It is the worst performance I have witnessed under AN, and many of his players let him down (once) again. Tactically we were inept, very, and we played more hoof ball than Ipswich.
