Yellowhammer 95 Posted December 26, 2015 Out classed by spurs today, played well at times but strange subs. Point of putting lafterty as a sub I will never know as no intention of playing him .A win is all that will do Monday .
lake district canary 4,836 Posted December 26, 2015 Ultimately outclassed, but had a good beginning to the game and if we had scored the first goal during that time, it would have put some doubt in the opposition. As it was, once the first goal went in they were too good.
Tetteys Jig 851 Posted December 26, 2015 Well lamela cost more than our entire team so was to be expected. It isn''t games like that that will save us, its beating villa and Bournemouth.
grefstad 0 Posted December 26, 2015 Outrunned, and a total lack of intensity. The number og challenges lost by Tettey and Mulumbu due to their very sliw movement of feet was in fact astonishing. Never seen anything like it. Eriksen, Mulumbu and Lamela danced around them at will.Don''t think Brady broke much of a sweat in this game either. Poor all over. Brady seems to have lost a bit of form. Can''t wait for Jarvis back, Olsson out, and Brady as LB.On to Villa. Huge game that one now. Need at least 4p from Villa and Soton at home, maybe all 6. Hairy Kenneth 0 Posted December 26, 2015 Totally agree with Tetteys Jig-need to take the points against the teams in the bottom half which we have not done well with so far
morty 0 Posted December 26, 2015 If someone had offered us three points from two tough away games at Man U and Spurs, pretty sure we all would have taken it.Get real folks.
Hairy Kenneth 0 Posted December 26, 2015 Agree Morty-a point from those 2 games would have been optimistic in many people''s eyes. Also took a point at Anfield, drew with Arsenal and Everton. Need to get the points against the Villas and other teams around us. Huge game on Monday.
Shyster 0 Posted December 26, 2015 Tettey''s Jig -- ''Well lamela cost more than our entire team so was to be expected. It isn''t games like that that will save us, its beating villa and Bournemouth.''I''m pretty sure we''re going to need more than six points in order to stay up. Branston Pickle 4,152 Posted December 26, 2015 Three points from the last two games is more than we''d have expected, so can''t be too disappointed. On their day, with individual players valued at more than our entire squad, and with them being at home, Spurs were always likely to be better than us; we didn''t manage to match the performance level we had against City/United, but these things happen. Captain Canary 0 Posted December 26, 2015 It''s not the fact we got beat it''s the lack of fight the lack of effort to try and get back in the game. The poor tactics very very poor today made Spurs look like world beaters Villa is now massive.
coops 0 Posted December 26, 2015 We were sh!t today as we are on most away days. We offered nothing attacking and were our usual crap at the back and yes I was there. Not good enough. Vadis and Jerome did ok and Rudd apart from giving a pen away. Redmond is shocking and too many times it''s like playing with 10 men.
Mr Jenkins 0 Posted December 26, 2015 We did play well for the first twenty, the pen completely changed the game.I wasn''t sure it was the right decision but didn''t have a great view of the incident?Anybody know what the replays showed?

Mr Jenkins 0 Posted December 26, 2015 Mmm, it looked as if he had lost the ball and made a desperate dive, but if Rudd touched him then that''s obviously enough for the ref. Shame.
