  1. "Hucks was usually complemented by Bentley" Well he wasn''t was he because Bentley was here for one season and Huckerby was here for five seasons. And pretty sure Bentley was often utilised through the middle in that season, we had to put up with that dodgy Swedish bloke on the right wing, who actually preferred to play on the left. So there is a good example of where inverted wingers has failed for us in the past! Got us relegated!
  2. Playing two inverted wingers at the same time doesn''t work unless you are Bayern Munich or Chelsea. All of our crosses are inswingers, easy for the defenders and keeper, difficult for the strikers. Been a problem all season and the only real threat from crosses has come from Olsson. Perhaps we could pull it off if we had an attacking right full back with crossing ability.
  3. "SAF had three seasons before it started to work for him" How many more times do we need to hear this stupid example. Ferguson took over in mid-November with Man United 21st in the league and led them to an 11th place finish. In his second season he led them to 2nd! His job wasn''t at risk until his 3rd or 4th season, where they struggled because he was still implementing a new philosophy and ethos at the club to use the youth system to create one of the best teams we''ve ever seen in this country. Ferguson''s first two seasons saw him take a relegation threatened team and lead them to safety and then to a 2nd place finish. You would have to be truly clutching at straws to find a way to compare his first two seasons with Hughton''s.
  4. "Oh, do me a favour.........." OK I will. If you post a picture of at least two match tickets from this season including the Man City game which you claimed to have attended, next to page 3 of Monday''s Sun newspaper I will remove my signature seeing as it seems to bother you so much. As you have told us you have attended multiple games this season the terms of the proposal should be easy enough for you to comply with.
  5. More like 4 months too late. Early to mid-December would have been just fine.
  6. That Hughton has already been told he will be departing at the end of the season, and we get relegated, then that would make the board complete and utter fools wouldn''t it? That rumour has been doing the rounds for a few weeks now, surely something that ridiculous wouldn''t occur under the stewardship of David McNally would it?
  7. 3/1 to 15/8 in 16 hours is pretty damning though isn''t it, especially as I could have got 4/1 before Stoke.
  8. "time and time again he has made slip ups with regard to the club and ground" I''d quite like some evidence that he has been to Carrow Road in the past decade. A few match tickets next to a specific page of a specific news paper on a specific day would be just fine, he could blank out his surname. LDC, post up a photo of a few match tickets against page 3 of Monday''s Sun please.
  9. I''ve looked at the table. It confirmed what I already thought, that we are in the sh*t.
  10. They should learn from their mistakes and stop doing it, they don''t deserve sympathy. If they expected anything less than terrible from an away fixture then they are stupid. Einstein said that the definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different result. They are therefore mad for paying the money.
  11. "Everyone has had enough" That''s not quite true is it, four or five on here who make a lot of noise. We are the 99% though. Maybe that is the answer, we should pitch up tents on Carrow Road and where anonymous masks until Hughton and the 1% are gone.
  12. I understand and even share Hoolahan''s frustrations. But he threw his toys out of the pram to try and get his own way, probably after taking tips from Lambert. He pulled a Lambert, just like Holt did to get his contract. Not sure we should reward that behaviour with the POTS award. I wasn''t too angry with his two incidents, and understand why he would be desperate to leave, but if he has not made any effort to make it publicly clear that he meant no disrespect to our fans, he called us a "sh*thouse club" and refused to celebrate a goal away from home, where our fans were fantastic. He has disrespected the fans in the process. I also witnessed the aftermath of the Colchester defeat where Hoolahan stuck his fingers up at fans, so while I''d love to see him in the team I don''t want us to reward petulance. I''m voting Bradley Johnson. Model pro, gives 100% every game and one of the only players with the mental strength not to give up. If all of our players had his drive and commitment we wouldn''t be in this mess.
  13. The fans were singing Hughton out at home to Fulham weren''t they? There was discontent at Villa away. If McNally was going to go with general consensus amongst fans he would have given Hughton the chop months ago. He knows damn well that the fans aren''t on side, but doesn''t want to sack him for one reason or another.
  14. If fan power had any significance influence in the ivory towers at Carrow Road he would have been gone in December.
  15. I''d like the idea more if we chose a different player. Could make the same point but not a player who has disrespected the fans. Voting Becchio would make a similar statement, if not a stronger one. Would the club really let that happen without making up the results though? The data isn''t public is it.
  16. If our team is as talented as many of you make out then they haven''t shown it this season. I don''t know whether it is the management or the players any more, but some people make out that Hughton is a good manager and we have a team packed full of talent. Well it can''t be both can it, either we are just sh*te or we have a terrible manager. How can we possibly have the most talented squad since 1993 or before (like some claim) if we churn out performances like this almost every week, unless we have a terrible management team? Would love to know the answer to that.
  17. No other word to describe our pathetically limp performances, our lack of organisation, our complete lack of belief, the huge void in creativity, and the way that fans of every single other team see us as an easy 3 points are are themselves embarrassed if they don''t beat us. Watching our team is just f*cking embarressing, especially away from home. Are there any other mediocre or slightly average teams for us to make look like Barcelona left in this league? We can''t even string a few passes together, it is as if we play against a midfield trio of Xavi, Iniesta and Scholes every week.
  18. "Of course not, there must be a new thread every time Juge has a thought" Don''t fancy being the first person not to choose ''A'' as their preference then Mrs Miggins?
  19. "Yes he would probably reincarnate himself for the millionth time ;)" And you have made it 100% clear what your username used to be haven''t you Jez!
  20. I would have got bored with my signature within a few days if you didn''t constantly show how much it bothers you.
  21. Four scenarios... a) Stay up and sack Hughton in the summer. b) Stay up and keep Hughton c) Get relegated and sack Hughton in the summer d) Get relegated and keep Hughton. Mine is: A, C, B, D
