1. I suppose the real question is, why do we - comparatively to the second half - start so slowly?

Try not to act like quite a hysterical grandma in a hostage situation eh?
Firstly, stating "no offence" and then calling someone an "idiot" is somewhat contradictory.  Secondly, I can spell "you''re" correctly, so perhaps, NO OFFENCE, but you''re the idiot? No of course not, must be me.
Are the keys on your keyboard sticky from the drool idiot?   Suggesting Ruddy should be dropped is a stupid thing to say and it deserves proper contempt.
Ah, I see.  Well, you think that my opinion is invalid, on a public forum, used to express opinion, and solidify your own opinions with ad hominem attacks against other users?  *Slow cap*PS - I''m all out of troll-snacks, so you may have the last word if you wish, I don''t care to continue this puerile, non-NCFC related discussion with you. Opinions are lik

 4.
Well that was the most depressing first half since, er, Man City.
West Ham was pretty bad too as I recall.
 5.

We''re not going to score 2
You''re right. I''ve seen more threatening lettuces at Sainsburys
I know the swarthy looking lettuce you''re talking about!  It''s that one on the 2nd shelf, slightly browning, but heavily reduced in price, and goading you with its leaves and the prospect of E-Coli...
 6. [Javier''s Deaf Translator good save by ruddy. considering Bunn is out, I wouldn''t suggest resting him as that means Nash... change for half time has to be whitts on for russ and Johan on for bradders ]I didn''t realise Bunn was out?  Yikes! If we''re our backup for Ruddy is now a 50 year old goalkeeper, Hughton may as well name himself on the bench as cover for Olsson and Martin - can''t do any worse today.
 7.
Russ Martin needs to come off at half time...Normally one of our most consistent players but this has to be his worst performance for us ever...
I think he needs to come off for a couple of games.  Whittaker in for me.   Martin''s supposed reliability in defensive duties has disappeared, and we''re left with the same predictable distribution from him everytime. He might as well write a blog before each game about what he''s going to do when he receives the ball.

 9. I don''t suppose it''s too much to ask, that if we''re going to play such disjointed and ugly cr@p, we at least learn to defend? If we''d done the basics right, it would be 0 - 0.
 10.
Horrible Challenge by Cabaye...Someone half him!this might get a little bit tasty
Revenge for the Turner tackle, however, he was very brave - by picking the smallest possible recipient bar Redmond.Typical french bravery.  ^^  (Disclaimer:  I don''t adhere to national stereotypes)
 11. sigh...  That''s not acceptable defending.  We may as well leave now if it''s going to continue like that.
 12. Have you, Mr Hughton, really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
 13. He''s a better distributor of the ball than he is given credit for.I''d be extremely disappointed if he was dropped in favour of Bassong next week.
 14. Perhaps a little over-the-top, but credit to everyone for realising we were defending too deep. That said, I''m not a professional football manager (at least not in real life) and if I realised it, perhaps they should have done so earlier?
 15. We need to press higher, as i''m sure most people would agree.  West ham don''t have a great deal of pace, so we can easily afford to do so.
 16. I know this isn''t Hooper''s forte but his link up play is atrocious.
 17. Anyone else hear Snoddy''s broad Glaswegian tones scream: "someones gotta attack the f##ker!!"?
 18.
you know what you can get rid of hughton but you will still have 11 players that show no interest at all they are running around like a bunch of school boys no manager can correct that there is not one player that seems interested
And whose responsibility do you think it is to correctly motivate the players then?
 19. I''d seriously advocate buying him back in January, if he''d come, which he wouldn''t.*sniffle*
 20. Fer is undoubtedly talented, but he needs to put his brain in-gear sometimes.  Ridiculous challenge, especially considering we are playing at the stadium of ''dubiously-awarded-penalties''.
 21. playing well, but I have a very nasty feeling that we are going pay heavily for this profligacy.
 22. Was very unlucky to be dropped.  I would also give him a game - Bassong has been a little out of form, and perhaps could do with a little jolt to remind him that no-one is guaranteed a starting place.
