The Measurement of Transfer Window Failure
Dave replied to Rudolph Hucker's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The transfer window does not close until jan 31st until then it''s not a failure -
Villa are in a worse position than they were with MacLeish a year ago P45 for sure
-
If Luton fans think its too cheap then they should donate the difference in what they think it is to their club, that way their club will keep all the money!
-
Luton at home! Opposite of 1959 this time luton are considerably the underdogs but a bit of revenge needed
-
Mo''s time will come probably after he moves up to marathon distance
-
As predicted all gold medalists got at least an MBE Is there anyone with NCFC connections that you think deserves one I personally think that Brayan Gunn deserves something, I know he was a bad manager but He gave a lot to the game He has raised over a million for charity He did a lot for the club and the city prior to becoming manager
-
Apparently they are in talks with a current premier league manager. That concerns me slightly
-
Not! Just Thought I would just say it for the sake of it as those of you calling for his head after 3 games have gone awfully quiet.

To the abba tune Money, money, money must be funny in Lamberts wallet
-
Once we''re winning Lambert whats the score, lambert lambert what''s the score
-
That''s all I have to say on this matter

Those were the good days when we could sign big names towards the end of their career and they could still make an impact. Sadky these days they can get excessive wages abroad that we simply can''t afford
-
The other issue that may put people off is that it will be like watching the reserves and you can go to reserve games cheaper than this. What would be good on arly cup rounds in the evening would be to have earlier kickoffs and make it a family night.

Do you have a source that says he only went in for him this week.As far as we know discussions may have been going on for weeks

In recent history weve had a few disasters on the opening day and its turned out ok a few examples are below. If we lose the 1st 5 like saturday then we need to worry! 2010-11 City 2 Watford 3 - Watford were classed as certainties for relegation and city tipped to thrash them - In the end we were promoted in 2nd place 2009-10 City 1 Colchester 7 - Promoted as champions 2003-04 Bradford 2-2 City - Bradford in financial trouble and had difficulty putting a side together - In the end we won div 1 2001-02 Millwall 4-0 City - Went on to clinch playoff spot

Owen has worked with CH in the past so there could be some truth in this rumour.I feel that owen still has something in him at times at Man U when he was injury free and had a chance he did play quite well. The key issue would be wages and his injury record. If the club could agree some sort of pay as you play deal topped up with goal bonuses he could be a good addition

Becuase whoever it is will probably join us in the January transfer window Unless of course its Drury who would be a good choice as skipper for them
-
My order with worst at the top 1. Roeder 2. Hamilton 3. Megson 4. Rioch 5. Grant
-
It would be great to actually have an NCFC monopoly Who would you really want on it? I would hope to see all legends on it even on the low values as who would want a game board with roeder on it?! Post here who you would like to see on it (players, managers, staff, board and media considered) and i will put something together graphically.

How many generations of Norwich fans?
Dave replied to barclaystand's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Just 1 so far my dads a yorkshire man who moved to Norfolk and supports Sheffield untied Hopefully any children I may have will follow Norwich, If they decide to support Man Utd or Chelsea i may disown them!!! -
If you look at the signings each PL club has made so far Arsenal 2 Aston Villa 3 Chelsea 2 Everton 1 Fulham 3 Liverpool 1 Man City 0 Man Utd 2 Newcastle 2 Norwich 2 QPR 6 Reading 4 Southampton 2 Stoke 1 Sunderland 0 Swansea 2 Tottenham 2 WBA 2 West Ham 4 Wigan 0 As you can see fron this we have made about the same or more than many - this averages about 2 signings per side so no need to panic yet we have 6 weeks till the window shuts and a month till the season starts

What did amuse me with that game was Andy Marshall started in goal!! I cant believe hes still playing and for a premier league side too, surely even Lambert cant get the best out of him!!!
