1. Going to throw his name into the mix. Currently in charge of Borussia Monchengladbach (where last year he took them from favourites for relegation to 4th).   Has had success at all his clubs, highlighted by his record as follows...   Zurich FC - 55.45 win percentage Hertha Berlin - 42.55 win percentage Borussia Monchengladbach - 52.83 win percentage!!! - incredible for a normally struggling team.   Paul Lambertat Norwich - 49.30 win percentage   Bit of a gamble and probably unlikely, but why not?   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucien_Favre
2. Should Lambert leave - odds according to William Hill to be his replacement are as follows...   Chris Hughton - 5/4 Steve Bruce - 7/2 Malky Mackay - 4/1 Alan Curbishley - 10/1 Ian Culverhouse - 10/1 Gus Poyet - 11/1 Roberto Martinez - 11/1 Lee Clark - 11/1 Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - 12/1 Gianfranco Zola - 14/1 Ian Holloway - 14/1 Mick McCarthy - 16/1 Rafa Benitez - 20/1 Roy Keane - 25/1 Paolo Di Canio - 25/1 Alan Shearer - 25/1 Gary Megson - 25/1 Karl Robinson - 25/1 Ray WIlkins - 25/1 Kevin Bond - 25/1 Mike Phelan - 25/1 Nigel Worthington - 25/1 Owen Coyle - 25/1 Glenn Hoddle - 33/1 Gordon Strachan - 33/1 Ian Crook - 33/1 Tim Sherwood - 33/1
3. I have a fiver on Robert Lewandowski at 25/1. The top scorer is only gonna get 4/5 max i would have thought, so only takes one player to score a few in the group stages and they could be away. Group A is a good bet where top scorer may come from.   Other players to consider - Huntelaar, Muller, Baros
4.
I was thinking Loic Remy or Benzema
Loic Remy is out injured, so I''d save your money for someone esle
5. Fantastic future in management. I said in a seperate thread that he would be my No.1 target should Lambert of left. Villa would be the perfect platform for him to demonstrate his skills in the Premier League ahead of his rather inevitable move to Man U.
6. Very much like the idea of Hughton - did very well at Newcastle before being unfairly dismissed. Poyet perhaps?   Thinking outside the box...   Di Matteo should he not get the Chelsea job? - probably unlikely   Solksjaer - give him a go in the Prem before he innevitably gets the Man Utd job at some point. - again, probably very unlikely.
7. ...never heard of the bloke   http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/120510/norwich-and-west-brom-eye-french-defender-171791
8. I''ve asked him where he has seen/heard this but yet to get a response. Wouldn''t read to much into this personally...think he''s just winding me up as I told him Forest would be in League 1 next season.
9. Just got a text from my mate whose a huge Forest fan saying he''s off to Forest on a months loan. Don''t know how true his is or if it''s just a windup. What do people make of this if my mates right?
10. The only other english goalkeepers to have performed consistently this season and arguably deserve a call up is Paul Robinson and Ben Foster (both of whom have now retired from international football). So agreed, must be time for Ruddy to have a shot.
11. In Brighton''s defence, I can sort of understand their frustrations... A - The lad is pure quality and he would be a real bargain at £1m. When he was on loan at Yeovil from Chelsea a few years back - he was tipped for the Prem by most fans at the age of 18. B - If we do sign him, we would have taken their best midfielder each of the last 3 seasons. Think we''d be pretty annoyed if our best midfielders were taken from us at quite a low price in ratio to their ability. That said, I would live to p**s them off again and in the process get a great player and future prospect.
12. Just had a look on SkyBet and noticed some odds regarding Lambert.   20/1 to become next Tottenham manager. 25/1 to become next Manchester United manager.   Obviously would never want him to leave, but the fact he is even listed on there is real testement to his work he has done here.   http://www.skybet.com/betting/football/manager-specials/t10002896.html
13. Surely worth a bid in January!   I appreciate we still have Vaughan to come back but anyone who scores 17 league goals in 21 league games must know where the goal is. Should be able to make the step up to the Prem in the same way Pilks and Benno have this year.   Thoughts?
14. What players would people like to see join in January? For me...   Nicky Maynard/Jordan Rhodes - both natural goalscorers, who could more than likely make the step up to the Premier League.   Albert Adomah - great player with electric pace. Arguably something we are lacking. Would provide good competition for Pilks and Benno.   Mohamed Diame (Wigan) - bid of an odd choice yo may think but has arguably been Wigan''s only bright spark this season. Box to box midfielder who has really impressed me this season. Has a rocket shot on him as well i believe. Probs wont happen though.   Liam Ridgewell - Could do with a bit of Premier League experience at the back really. Only realistic player i can think of.   What about everyone else?
15. Just watching Millwall vs Bristol City and think a raid of Bristol City is January wouldnt be a bad idea. Both Nicky Maynard and Albert Adomah are causing absolute chaos and would be very good signings IMO. Adomah to provide competiton for Pilks and Bennett and no doubt Maynard will handle in the Prem. Also fit in the Lambert style player. Any thoughts?
16. Appreciate all the help folks. Was fairly sure it will be almost impossible to get some but may still phone tomorrow. Thanks again
17. After our stunning start to the season, I''ve now got the urge to travel from Somerset to watch Blackburn on Saturday. However, looking on the website for tickets, it now says they are sold out unfortunately. But does anybody know if there is a way to get tickets or if I was to phone the club to ask them for information? Any help would be much appreciated :)
18. Milan Baros wore the number 5 shirt for Liverpool. So Morison isn''t the first striker to wear that number in the Premier league.
19. Just a bit of fun. Just thought it would be interesting to see where all the teams will finish this year an what the final table may look like. I''ll start... 1. Manchester United 2. Manchester City 3. Chelsea 4. Liverpool 5. Tottenham Hotspurs 6. Arsenal 7. Everton 8. Fulham 9. Stoke 10. Sunderland 11. Aston Villa 12. Bolton 13. Newcastle 14. Norwich 15. Wolves 16. West Brom 17. Swansea 18. Blackburn 19. Wigan 20. QPR
20. Not sure if something similar has been mentioned but I have now set up a ''mini-league'' for all fellow Norwich fans to join. It would be great to get as many as possible to make this a really good laugh! http://fantasy.premierleague.com/   The code if you are interested is 52658-26516.   Feel free to get anyone you know involved as well!
21. Really wouldn''t be surprised to see Oli Johnson join Yeovil on loan next week. Terry Skiverton (Yeovil manager) said the club have agreed a deal to sign a former loan player on loan and will join next week. Given the fact he probably wasn''t there at all, indicates he could be the player joining Yeovil on loan. Should do him very good to play regularly for a season.
22. Apologies if it''s already been posted but McNally just tweeted this - "Away kit will be revealed soon, very soon #ncfc @norwichcityfc #yellowarmy" Exciting stuff!
23. Good another FACT!!! ... Some people wear Superman pyjamas, but Superman wears Grant Holt pyjamas.
24. I also have a Grant Holt fact... Did you know, Grant Holt can win a game of Connect 4 in just 3 moves!!!
