I would take Marlon King in an instant , playing very well for Coventry and putting his chances away .Bad boy yes but Chris Martin is hardly whiter than white and he doesnt score either.

Those Cardiff fixtures look pretty ominous , dont see us picking up more points than them from here on in. Lets hope our easy home games turn out to be just that, Phill Brown is still looking for his first Preston win, its got to come sometime.

Well they have at least heard of the rumours up in Sheffield as it has been discussed on the Sheffield mad board .Opinion up there is he will be off somewhere for sure as they wont be able to afford to keep him .

I doubt Jackson will be keen on getting shipped back to league 2 or worse still Scotland , cant see it happening just to bring in another gamble.

What use are knock downs without a striker who can put them away .If we keep the Holt Wilbraham partnership you can kiss the play offs goodbye , the defenders and midfielders are not going to bail us out every game .Wilbraham should be on the bench untill Holt is either injured or suspended .

I hope he is replaced pretty soon for somebody who knows where the net is , just cannot see it happening for him even after he scores one . For me i would start with Jackson every time , he at least used to bang them in in league 1 Wilbraham never has.

2 brief substitute outings , i would look at it this way if Paul Lambert announced today he had brought a striker in on loan and it turned out to be a Stevenage bench warmer most on here would explode.

Would Southampton loan him out ? probably not and going into league 1 would be a gamble , Jackson was one of the very best at that level and Martin bagged plenty last season . So has anybody heard anymore about this Pacheco mentioned in the opening post , or is that just more made up nonsense.

I doubt a top Premiership club would want Lappin in their side , Stevenage are league 2 and they didnt think Daley was good enough to play for them after getting him in on loan , and now people want him to play in the City side . I thought the Cody Mac hysteria was bad enough but this is just plain silly.

Stevenage didnt think him good enough for a start , i think that probably says it all .

What makes you think only one team will slip out ? i give Leicester ,Hull and Burnley very good chances of making the top 6 , those three sides are playing as well as anybody right now. Throwing 2 points away against Doncaster was nothing short of criminal .

Wilbraham would not get on the bench at any of the other top 6 sides , if we keep starting with him and do not sort out the 2nd striker position we will drop out of the top 6 sooner rather than later.

With the latest Pink Un story of Holt backing Wilbraham to hit the goal trail my money would be on nobody coming in .

Get over the Cody thing , Jackson was way better in the lower leagues than Cody , he would be even more outclassed than the strikers we have now .

Our away form has been better than the home form all season really , we are Palaces only away win , we broke Hulls long losing away run , Portsmouth took all 3 and quite a few of the wins were achieved in injury time . With good home form we would be sitting top 2 for sure .

Wilbraham would be ok for what most of us thought he was bought for and thats cover for Grant Holt , as a starter he is just a striker you know is not going to score . Very surprised Jackson did not get longer than 7 minutes tonight .

Play offs wouldnt be a bad result but top 2 is there for the taking , last week people had Forest down as certain top 2 and they have dropped 5 points to the bottom 2 sides in a week . Play offs are a lottery and i dont see us winning them ,very rarely do the better sides come out on top in them .

It would have been easy if we had put a performance in , this really is a terrible result and we do it time and time again against the weaker clubs . And just when is somebody going to wake up and realise the strikers at this club are not good enough .
