1.

I say Jeremie Aliadiere. Not currently conrtacted to anyone. Scored goals in the prem, is quick and skillful and was youth team at Arsenal so has good pedigree. We could get him on a short term deal and if he turns out to be good could offer him something longer.
I always thought he was struggling to score at ''Boro - just checked and he scored 11 in 78 games for them. That means he took 7 games to score a goal - we''ve got players who perform better than that already?
Yeah, i always thought he was a preety classy player but he really underperformed at Boro and guess that is why he is struggling to get a contract. The main problem with a player like this is that his fitness levels wont be at the same level as a player training daily with thier club, while i am sure it would take him a while to get back in thw swing of it, not ideal in our situation. I saw someone mentioned Bebe, would be nice but he has only just moved to Manchester really and they will be quite keen on moulding them into the type of player they want before loaning him out, while they will also want him to settle in England first, he is only a young lad. I wonder what Lupoli is up to, does anyone know?
2.
Someone mentioned Ebanks-Blake earlier. That was a good shout.
yeah would take him every day of the week, however i very much doubt Wolves will let him go on loan, they are fighting for survival and he''s still been in matchday squads
3. He is defiently not a player i would go for either, how about Zavon Hines, his teammate who West Ham say is allowed to go?
4. http://www.people.co.uk/sport/football/football-hotline/2011/02/13/west-ham-s-to-pay-benni-mccarthy-to-go-on-loan-and-team-mate-zavon-hines-ready-to-leave-in-summer-102039-22918425/i know a few people on here have mentioned trying bring mccarthy in, i dont think hes the player i would want as doubt he has any desire to do well here and doubt his fitness has imporved since being fined recently. However at only 10K a week we wouldnt be forking out huge wages
5. Sorry seems like i starting loads threads tonight, but i am just bored as hell. Anyway just realised that when looking through the championship results today it was the first time i didn''t even think to look at the scums result. Every week it''s the first one i look for but this week straight to our main rivals. Its quite a nice thought to know we don''t even need to worry about Ipswich results this season affecting us, infact they still have a few games to come this season where, i hate to say it, i think many city fans will be hoping they get a result. They still have all the top 6 still to play, except Nott Forest
6. Yeah i am expecting the onslaught Rich. He''s a player of my generation and one of the first Norwich players i remember, however he just never done it for me really. He''s consistent i will give you that but for me hes been consistent at a level that is championship average but not really much more.
7. I had compleatly forgot about being linked to Brown, surely there is a possiblity over a loan for him (i personally don''t think i would spend my money there on a signing of him but as a loan would give stiff competition) because weren''t Pompey not playing him to prevent them paying his former club over a clause in his contract about apperances. I don''t know if they are still refusing to play him, but if so surely a loan would be a great option for everyone?
8. Alright, i doubt many will agree with this post will be and it has nothing to do with how he played today as i have no idea, so i am just expressing my general opinion and bear in mind i cant watch city week in week out like i could a couple of years back.Anyway i have always felt that drury offers us very little in attack, he bombs down that left wing much better than he used to and i think under Lambo he has really improved, but he doesn''t have a great cross and isn''t much of a danger in attack- not like R Martin. His defending is better and his positioning is usually quite good, but if he doesn''t have back up he can get skinned on 1 on 1 situations a bit to much for my liking. Do not get me wrong he has been a great servant and ambassador for the club but i have never felt totally secure over him and for me he is the weakest link in our starting back 4. I would be inclined to give Tierney a little go in a game soon just because i think he has a little bit more bite to him and i would just like to see something a bit new on that left side. Drury has not done anything wrong there this season really and i know you shouldn''t change a winning formulae, but Tierney was obviously bought in to compete with Drury, not act as a backup, and i would like to see him get a shout at some point
9. Ok do not know how interesting this is or not but i was just looking at the table and i thought the form City are on at the moment is good, not brilliant and not quite like it was at the end of December i think. I am quite confident we can keep this form up for the rest of the season. So i decided look last 12 home and away games (because it''s easy to do on BBC) and then try and work out how many points will get from last 15 games if continue this form. So, the last 6 home and away games and results are as shownMost recent HomeWLWWDW AwayWWDWDLthis gives us 24 points from a possible 36, while also giving us 2 points a game (our season average is just above 1.7 points per game)- now if we continue that form into the last 15 games we will clinch another 30 points and finish on 84- i think that that point total has a good chance at auto promotion.i don''t know why any of this really matters, just made me feel bit more confident after doing the maths as i thought we had started to slip up results wise a little bit recently- guess that is a little unjustified though.
10.
Agreed with that guys. That said surely we can get an emergency loan in ?Worst case senario given how well Lansbury is doing surely Mr Wenger could send one of his small boy defenders our way ??
Ha i like Arsenal, but one type of player i wouldn''t take from Wenger is a CB, he struggled to get his own sorted for a long time! I think the emergency loan may be the only option, it was such a mistake getting if of Nelson in the end and i think it may have been Lamberts worse decision yet as manager
11. My opinion about Ward has always been the same, he had a bit of class on the ball and is nice at playing it out but he suffers to many lapses in concentration and a CB can not do that. I prefered Nelson just because of his no nonsense style and i had more confidence in him not making a stupid mistake. I may be wrong about Ward as i don''t watch City play every week and now are back up defender is going to be Askou i am guessing? not play off quality defender. Proving a real shame that we let Nelson go, maybe Lambert was too nice to him
12.
I would punt for Martin too. I do think he links the play a lot better and makes defenders move with him, leaving space for Hooly and the others to move forward. Maybe a bit of time on the bench will have given him some exta motivation.
totally agree and i think martin may bag 2 tommorrow
13.

For some reason I can believe you live under a shell by the coast! [:D]
I guess you think Jackson not scoring in 15 games is a good thing? and youll be backing wilbrahams contribution? Typical Pink un poster! NOOOBBBB!
I am guessing I.S post was a bit sarcy as there are so many posts related to this subject at the moment. Your point is spot on Canarychange but it has been the topic of discussion for last couple days- i aint having a dig, just explaining what i think I.S response was about, i may be wrong though
14. I like the sound of Lupoli, dunno what everyone thinks about his loan spell here, but there were some games he looked really talented. He really didn''t get on well with Roeder, i know that for a fact, so maybe under Lambert we will get the best out of him. Wenger used to say he was the best finisher int he squad when at Arsenal.
15. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_6744856,00.htmlJust seen Jackett is deciding whether he will try extend Askous loan or not, any extension i am sure will be a view to the end of the season and he probably wont be able to be recalled. Even if this wasn''t the case and he could be recalled, i think i would prefer him at the club just incase we suffered any CB injuries, now Nelson has gone
16. sorry but you must be looking at Smith with some serious Green&Yellow tinted glasses to think theres not much between him and Lansbury, lansbury is a class above him and has already shown his extra bit of class. I agree he is not a good a tackler but a much better distributer of the ball with better vision. I also think Smith is behind fox in the pecking order. I do like Korey but he still needs couple more years to build up and mature. I honestly dont think he is too much of a step up from Adeyami, and he is out on loan at league 1.Korey will have his part still to play this season, but i do not think it will be major.
17. ha according to wikipedia, Campbell cost Brentford 5,000, Birmingham 500K then Leicester 2.1Mi wish we had loaned Cody out to a league 1 team and get a much beeter judgement of his potential, i will be honest i dont know much about him and have never seen him play, but if he does continue his form he will def go up in value, if he can follow his goals this season up with +10 in championship next year (either with us or someone else) he will def be worth over a million in my mind, as he will be doing something which it doesnt seem Jackson or Martin can do
18. ha thanks banana for not letting my thread be a complete waste, i agree with you, shame if he turns out to be a good champ player though, i am in 2 minds about it still as players like this can sometimes be good money investments too, look at DJ Campbell, i am quite sure one of his transfer fees succedded 1 Million, thats a great return.
19. spot on with both Jacko, but i don''t see Lambert make any long term changes to the diamond at the point in the season, but i may be wrong, infact i hope i am wrong because both the systems you mention with those players sound good, however i would probably go for the 4-2-3-1
20. Hey i have just seen this article on sky sports about this youngster playing non-league football, reportably attracting interest from number championship clubshttp://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_6743948,00.htmlHe''s a striker, could potentially take a gamble on another non-league footballer to help us in the next couple of months- not much of a risk as would be cheap, however not really the type of signing i would like to see, not great long term- we have Cody Mac and Oli J to come back who are probably of a similar level.Does anyone else know anything about this guy? or any opinions on if they would like to see Lambert bring in someone like this or do they have any alternatives, the problem i see at the moment with the striker issue is that i cant think of any who we would bring in on loan, maybe we might have to look abroad, but i doubt they will have the passion over here or the toughness
21. sorry just a quick question as this always bothered me when i was a season ticket holder, not sure if it still goes on now, i just remember it from when i was a kid. Anway i was wondering if anyone knew what the whole malarky was when during a game at Carrow Rd you would sometimes here over the speakers something like ''Mr. Carrow is in the Barclay, i repeat Mr. Carrow is in the Barclay''. Does anyone know what this is/was about?
22. Legend Iwan is right, this money almost defiently came in a while ago but was kept hush hush to prevent clubs inflating thier player prices.good on Foulger- well done! i am sure he would have got a dscount on the shares too.hopefully lambert will push with another loan player, i just dont think there is that much out there at the moment- SWP haha
23. ok just seen West Brom have stupidly sacked thier manager, getting ridiculus this year. Anyway my point is i am quite sure there is no need for anyone to get paronoid about him leaving, like the burnley situation. This is because i doubt a club in West Broms position would want him. He is inexperienced at manging championship football, let alone premiership. I doubt any club in the prem who are trying to avoid relegation would want him. We have seen by the sackings already that they have been done to bring in a manger with experience of premiership management, Lambo has not been there, no club would take a gamble on him at this stage of the season.I am quite sure Lambert will stay even if we dont get promoted this season, for the fact above and because he has surpassed expectations this season and i am sure he will be quietly confident we could make a very decent push for promotion again next season.
24. ha i just saw the team sheet on bbc and had come on to see what everyone elses reaction was, i assumed he would be playing ward as a DM but the 3CB makes more sense, espicially against burnley- my only problem is we are playing all 3 of our CB, doesnt leave us much if one gets injured this game. I guess Askou will be back soon, starting to get annoyed we let Nelson go again, o well. anyway i am optimistic about today, quite like the formation idea, with 3 quality CB and 2 good wing backs this could be very dangerous.
25. people you can only watch it on bet365 if u have an ip address outside of england, this is possible to change, a little complicated but not reallly, look up how to do it on youtube or something. otherwise myp2p prob the best place for the game, usually has abut 6 links, any sopcast liks are the best as they never get pulled, but you do have to download sopcast (no problems or virus with it).think im gonna try bet365 first and set it up to the big screen and enjoy with some beers!c''mon city
