Cheerio Leroy

Well it is on there....http://www1.skysports.com/transfer-centre/ Yes he was quality but I felt he was quiet way too often last year. To me 8 million is ok. He was too inconsistent for me personally. -

If he was moving on...and with the score being 3-0 would they have risked him playing and potentially getting an injury there is no way. -
McNally does it again..

May I ask where you heard those fee''s from? Just curious. If really 1.25m up front and an additional 6m. That would truly be amazing. -
I would give him a chance to impress in practice and see how he does. Couldn''t hurt. He mean''t a lot to this club and I believe this club meant a lot to him. With passionate play he could be a great sub. A chance wouldn''t hurt anyone let him earn it.

McNally and Co are deliberately taking us down to "Little Old Norwich" Levels Deliberately? His paycheck and bonus im sure went Wayyyy down. To think these people would take money out of their paychecks to make the team smaller...you are out of your mind. All the boards and managing directors paychecks im sure got cut in half...If you were to tell me they they still got paid the same then maybe I would give some merit to that but don''t be daft...Big money is made at the top...Yes he waited too long on the firing last year but blame the board for that...that was one of the very few mistakes that this club has made in close to what 6 years or so? OTBC!!!! Lets get back to where we belong.

Who wants to help me put some money on him being the top scorer in the championship this year? Here in the United States in the "Land of the Free" it''s illegal to place sporting bets unless in Las Vegas...anyone wanna put some money down for me which I can wire over :)

I just remember hoping that Hoots did what he had to do to make sure we didn''t lose including playing boring football and with a nice transfer kitty he brought in players with skill and could open up the game...instead he just ruined those players. Really sucks when you think about it so much. What a waste. -

Nexus what Ice Cold Pineapple said was right about scholarships. It is actually pretty great the scholarship program here in the States. American Football and College basketball bring in probably 95% of all of the revenue dollar wise but it is shared evenly dollar wise through out all of the sports. You are talking, Swimming,"Soccer", baseball, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, Golf, Track, wrestling etc etc etc So college athletes take advantage of that opportunity and then get real jobs unless you are one of the very best that stay with your sport. Only 1/10th of 1% make anything and stay with the sport as a career. The main sports here are NFL #1, Baseball then basketball and hockey probably tied. -
With Simeon Jackson leading the attack.

Someone asked if "Soccer" is the number one sport here for junior high kids why doesn''t it produce more talent...the reason is this..."Soccer" here to most parents is a free babysitting session. The Parents don''t play so they don''t go after school and play with the kids. They drop them off and go. It might change with future generations but not at this moment sadly. -
Who wins a world cup first.... England or the USA? Obviously not first cause we have 1 under our belt but you know what I mean.

One thing that made me cringe so much watching the 2nd half of the US Germany game today the guy behind me kept on saying come onnnnn get a headerball goal. I was like "Headerball" and he would just go yeah I love seeing those. Some of them even say "Soccerball" for football....but today at work when they were playing it was deathly silent. Then after it got busy. People were watching in numbers here. -
