1.
The NotW story said the club had called in "financial experts" as potential administrators and could go into administration "by Thursday". None of that was true. At that time chairman Bowkett was renegotiating payment schedules with AXA and Lloyds, and the club had previously employed Deloitte to look at all aspects of the business and property advisers King Sturge. Things were desperate, but a long way from the situation described by the NotW, whose story was based on seeing a list with NCFC on it -- unfortunately for them, but happily for us, the club in question was Notts County.
i belive mick, i have seen, heard and read his comments about us in the media, he is true norwich fan and always promotes norwich and talks about us so passionatley. could do with more like him. also wanted to thanks mick for this and want him to keep up the good work on behalf of the club. good on ya
2.
Thinking about the last couple of game, who thinks a couple of older and more experenced heads would have helped, certainly someone commanding at the back could have saved the point yesterday , we seemed to go into a shell with 5 mins to go, I have noticed this a few times
why dont you ask a QPR fan what he thinks about buying "experenced heads" ... ?
3. unfortantley there is a decent size gap between 7th and 8th esp in finances and even more so if liverpool win their game in hand. maybe we can do it but looks unlikley shame though because with our history in europe im sure the competetion would have been taken seriously by the fans.
4.
Any link to this online? I''d be interested to hear it.
]there maybe a podcast you could download
5. luckly for us, the success of the team this season has not been down to 1 or 2 outstanding players getting us into a good league postion or even 3 or 4 players. its been though the team playing well as a team, having great team spirit and a good mangement team behind us this means two things:1. we are less likley to lose the "1,2,3 or4 players that have kept us up, as the whole team seems to be getting the credit equally.2. if we do lose 1,2,3 or 4 players we are not relient on induviduals as we rely on playing well as a team and have no real outstanding superstars. I think PL has proven this by his roatation this year with no outfeild players being guarentied a place in the team. One game its holt/jackson another morrison, one week bennet the next pilks etc etc3. The credit does not go to an 1,2,3, or 4 players and a team of players deemed not to be "superstars, or proven premeir league players" this does mean that more credit goes to the manager though and that worries me more than losing any player. esp with the villa, chelsea and spurs jobs may all be up for grabs come the summer which may mean a manager merry go round and that worries me, not hanging onto the players but hanging onto the manager this summer. bottom line the players are all replaceable the manager is not
6.
The fact that Lambert preferred Nelson over Doc is clear evidence that Lambert''s just been lucky up to this point and will get found out next season.
lol
7. yep but maybe unfair to compare him to managers that had spent thier entire mangement career with norwich in the top division. but he is still my favourite ever
8. i was listening to that live in the car. I remember thinking good on collymore we are a big club and belive we can fill a 35000 seater staduim in the premeir and sold out 26000 nearly every week in league one, not to many clubs can say that!!! loved collymores reference to our away win in bayern
9. it has only been one twice by managers that have not one the league though.
10. just looked at theodds cant understand how manchini would get it if he wins the league after spending 200 mill so what? 11. Surely if Norwich finish in the top 10 and above swansea then PL should be manager of the year. Who else should receive it... Harry Redknap may only get 3rd good but not outstanding. Brendan Rogers? if we finish above them then surely PL has done the better job. Alan Pardew? top 7 finish but if he does not make the top 4 then its not outstanding. When one of the manchester clubs win the league thats no real suprise. But if we finish in the top 10 then that is outstanding, 17th would be good but top 10 outstanding.despite what happens today or next week or next, if we finish top 10 PL for manager of the year who else could get it?
12. great read, totally agree with your point and PLs policy in the transfer market
13.
Does his success mean we cannot criticise i noticed after this weekends defeat many posters saying look where we have come without Lambert we wouldn''t be here and that. However does that mean when he does do something wrong we should just brush it under the carpet? This is a question for god friends First Wizard and Cluck as i respect their opinions but i think we have differing views here. Regards lads
no the fact that we are 8th in the premier league does. so he obvoiusly knows what he is doing so trust him. be careful what you wish for
14.
That the vast majority of moans, anti Lambert selections, gripes and the unhappy brigade have all come from usernames not seen that often on here and a lot of them have low post counts as well.   Hmm?
closet scummers me thinks. stirring up trouble
15. i still think your an ipswich fan no matter who you say you saw in a norwich shirt. a norwich fan would never mention getting rid of a manager when we are 8th in the premier league. either that or you were drunk at the time
