1. Brighton are still in with a great chance of the play-offs, if Simeon does well on loan and gets taken on permanently he might be lining up against us next season.
2. People who are positive get criticised by the doom mongers and people who are negative get criticised by the happy clappers. This is just the natural order of things and it happens throughout every aspect of life, not just supporting NCFC. The only way to solve this would indeed be to divide the board, and have a ''Doom mongers'' side and a ''Happy clappers'' side, then you can choose which posts you read and those that you don''t. Until then, just be content with knowing what side of the fence you stand and that you are right!
3. Well that was a waste of money then, as you''re a lonely knob with no friends.
4. Whitehawk to beat Carshalton Un-Athletic at home in the Ryman Premier League please. Top against bottom, odds 2/9, what could possibly go wrong? Good luck GMF, all other PUPs and Come On England.
5. Jamie''s been shortlisted for the League Two player of the season award, good to see, but are the goals bigger in League Two?
6. Can you imagine the sort of comments coming from other managers if they''d suffered the injustices we did yesterday? I really like the fact that CH doesn''t whine about decisions, even when he has a right too.
7. Part 1 was on last week but watched it tonight, not really my kind of music, Stone The Crows, Humble Pie, Family, looked like some unusual footage but as I''m not familiar with most of the bands it might all have been on before. Deffo looking forward to Part 2!
8.
Neither will make it in the first team on a permanent Basis
Er, how the f... do you know?
9. Shouldn''t we be looking at improving in every position anyway if possible?
10. For future picks, can someone tell me how to find the more obscure fixtures e.g Serbia etc on the Bet365 site please?
11. Wouldn''t usually pick from any English leagues as they seem too unpredictable but odds of 4/7 for Doncaster (top) to beat Portsmouth (23rd) in League 1 are too good to turn down! Best of luck Pete and everyone else.
12. Yes, I can''t imagine anyone failing to respond to that!
13.
Think of the stick someone like Rooney gets, you''ll never see him arguing with fans..
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1388602/Wayne-Rooney-centre-Twitter-row-offering-fight-fan.html
14. Thanks Zak, I''ve read those I think, currently reading one about the recording of London Calling, called Route 19 Revisited by Marcus Gray. As for Clare Grogan dpit, she was cute but Bananarama were the ones for me from that time. Had a bit of the punk ''couldn''t give a toss'' attitude and for a Sex Pistols link-up, Paul Cook produced their first single.
15. Sounds like you know quite a lot about that era Zak, I''ve read a few of the Clash books and Bernie sounds like a loose cannon! Seems like he was always trying to outdo Malcolm McLaren and it was the bands that suffered-always seems to be the way, thankfully we''ve never made any money!
16. I''m surprised you hadn''t come across him before as you seem to have a wide-ranging music taste. Can''t believe you like our stuff as well though! It would be great if you could make it, I can''t wait to share the stage with someone who spent so much time on the road with Joe Strummer!
17. To be honest Herman, I''ve never heard any of their music! I imagined that they would be quite punky but I have absolutely no idea. We used to be a bit punky but we''ve mellowed a bit, we''re probably more indie-some people say it sounds like going back to the late 80s. There''s a few videos on Youtube but the sound quality isn''t great!
18. Thanks Wings, I''ve been searching on the net and I think that gig was in May 1977 and they were supporting the Clash. The Clash are probably my favourite band of all time, manged to see them twice but I would have loved to have seen them in 1977. Vic is definitely a cult hero, he became a postman and think he might still be, sounds like a great British eccentric!
19. I reckon any future picks for Scottish matches should be automatically vetoed! Maybe PUPs should be renamed POPs? (Pint Of P i s s).
20. Hiya. If you recognise this band you are possibly older than me, but my band The Jelly Fiends are supporting Vic Godard and Subway Sect on Friday March 29 (Good Friday) at The Water Rats, Kings Cross, London. If you don''t know the name, this band made their debut at the famous 100 Club Punk Festival in 1976, playing with Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Clash and The Sex Pistols. They were managed by Bernie Rhodes who also managed The Clash & The Specials. They also went on tour with The Clash on their White Riot tour in 1977. Vic disappeared from the music scene for a while but reappeared in the 1990s, working with Edwyn Collins (Orange Juice) and Paul Cook (Sex Pistols). Paul Cook is his current drummer. Tickets for this gig are available through ticket sites on the internet but if you''re interested in going and give me your name in advance you can get a couple of quid off the entry price. Also the more people we get to see us the better chance of getting more gigs in future. Thanks. P.S. I''m not sure if this post breaches the Code of Conduct but if it does, then I apologise.
21. Don''t think we''ll be anywhere in the championship next season cos I don''t think we''re going to get relegated :-)
22. I''m sure Mungo will be gutted if he finds out that any cockney plastics miss their chance to see their team in action against us, so thought i would mention that applications for the game at Arsenal have to be in by Friday 15 March.
23. Hiya, I''m going for Pacos Ferreira home win against Beira Mar, 3rd versus bottom in the Portuguese Premiership, odds 4/7. The best of luck to Jed Exodus and all PUPs.
