1. Surprised Spillanes not in it as I heard he was having a few reserve games before being considered for first team duty.
 2. He isn''t in Lambert''s plans. Me and a friend saw him in the city a few weeks back (on a matchday) and his words were that he was expecting to leave in January. Unless something has changed I expect he will. This would imply he has been told to find another club. The feeling I got was that he still wants to play football, if anything I think thats a testament to his character that he isn''t just going to sit back and get paid but instead he appreciates his career is nearly up and wants to carry on.
 3.
Might look into the odds on us not losing another game, could be worth a few quid.
Just do it yourself, put some cash on us winning on Saturday, then if we win put the winnings on us to win the next game and so on. Once you get a decent amount in your pot you can cover the draw each week to make sure you don''t lose it all.
 4.

Odd, do we have adaquate cover there?
Michael Spillane, Russell Martin, and George Francombe, all FAR more capable right backs than Jon Otsemobor, and more than enough cover for the rest of the season.
And two of those are out injured John.
Spillane is back in full training on Monday.
 5.
All down to what Hoolahan wants in my view. Middlesborough are not a bigger club than us and will probably be in the same division next season. As for a transfer fee we are deluded to think we will get more than £1m
There is no way that Hoolahan would leave for £1m. The manager would simply not let it happen.
 6.
got any gamer tags u could share? :)
I don''t think they would appreciate that, sorry!
 7.
Thanks to Eagle and CUSDP for these insider insights. For those of us who live away from the Fine City they are truly valued. Personally, I can''t see Wes leaving. The special relationship and understanding between himself, Holt and Martin is something that only rarely comes along and I can''t see him giving that up for Boro.
I wouldn''t claim to be an "insider". Its rare that I hear anything before the press do but I do speak to some of the players sometimes and play Modern Warfare with them, haha.
 8. Just a rumour on sky sports from an email they have had sent in. Seems like a random rumour to make up though? http://www.skysports.com/football/transfer_clockwatch/0,23710,14896,00.html Under 10.54am update.
 9.

Thanks CUSDP. Any inside news on other moves, in or out please?
Nothing at the moment im afraid. Although.....I was talking to a rather p!ssed up Foulger on saturday night and he let slip a couple of things.... Firstly...what a nice bloke. Lambert will be offered a new deal in the next few months. Great news. McNally....I got the impression Foulger funded the move for him. He suggested him to the board, they said we cant afford him, he said, we cant afford not too! What a guy! Bonds....By this tim eof our convo i was quite sloshed (maybe he spiked my drink [:o] ) but he was talking about a bond issue. I didnt understand it fully but it seems likely to happen. Oh and he hasnt got any spare Col Utd tickets! Maybe he was fobbing me off but he really seemed genuine and a top bloke to boot [Y]
CUSDP, I am also on the hunt for freebies, providing the players get some each I am looking alright, but I have heard that Col. Utd are being funny about the comps they are giving away to us! Hopefully it will come through. Also I randomly saw an absolutely hammered Mike Milligan on Saturday night, top value! Had a chat but couldn''t understand much, as you would expect.
 10. I''ve spoken to him a few times on nights out and I even have his phone number, randomly! Just to share horse racing tips. He is a nice guy and like I said I don''t think he would want to leave. Thats just the impression I get.
 11. It annoys me that this rumour keeps popping up. I personally can''t see him going anywhere, I think he knows he is on to a good thing here and I hope he would rather be the star man in our team than not a guaranteed starter at Middlesborough.
 12. I came back from the casino in Yarmouth to Norwich City centre at about 3am last night and the roads were driveable but slushy and we were in a rear wheel drive Merc. It can be done, you just have to be careful and its probably best to stick to the left lane.
 13. I heard they are going to videotape it and use the footage as the next installment of "Banger Racing on Ice" on Bravo.
 14.

They wont catch me!!
Me neither, I''m far to tricksy
Nor me, I have a cunning plan...
Hope it''s more successful than Baldrick''s resolution of his Mum being inconvienced by a low ceiling.  His suggestion was to cut her head off.   Who knows?[:O] Her Majesty''s Norfolk Constabulary there in force, just in case.
Complimentary tickets ;-)

 16.
Yes I rate Spillane too, he is back in training is he not? Although I see Spillane as more of a RB who can cover CB if required. I don''t think he will displace R.Martin upon his return to the matchday squad, but I see him replacing Semi on the bench...which may mean Semi could leave.
Not back training until next week or the week after.
 17. I saw Jamie in the city on Saturday, shopping with what I assume is his girlfriend. He chatted to my mate who knows him and said it looks like he is on his way somewhere this month but he doesn''t know where. I did ask him about Lincoln but he said that was only in the press since Sutton got the managers job there. He is a nice guy and he deserves to go somewhere where people will appreciate him, it annoys me that people like him get bad mouthed by some on here cos its not like he is the type of guy to just kick back and pick up his wages. I know Norwich is a comfortable place to live and retire etc but I think he will want to keep playing, but he is obviously not going to get a chance here, which he seems to accept. Fair enough really.
 18.
lol was thinking the same.   Anyhow this is a thread about JH, and I wish him better health and hopefully the all clear in the near future. [Y]
Totally agree WAY. Great to see him back working and smiling. Always thought his home debut for us was a decent one, even if his shorts did look the same size as Curo''s shirt!
 19.
how poor havde arsenal been?[;)]
Premature post?
 20.

Poor old Wiz. Mate, just admit to yourself (and to us on here) that curo is not good enough any more. Or to put it another way, would you drop Holty, Martin or Macdonald (from the subs bench) to accomodate Curo?
His form is not the issue here CT, he''s going, that much I do know, its just not to Lincoln okay?
Ok, I''ll bite, where is he going then, Wiz?
Latest I have is Jamie is off, maybe even to Lincoln now, not his prefered choice! I expect it to be late January............
I think he will want to stay as high as he can. With respect lincoln aren''t tearing up any trees in League 2 so he may hold out for a move to a better League 2 team. I think he has something to offer at that level but like Jas has said we dont really want to shoot ourselves in the foot again by sending him somewhere in League 1. That said, circumstances this season are much different and if he did go to a fellow League 1 clube he may dent some other teams promotion chances?
 21.

Anyone fancy summarising this thread in a few lines? I can''t be bothered to read it all.
View One DS/MWJ have made a conscious decision to take money from the footballing side of the club and invest this into infrastructure (new stand, offices, food, land, spine roads etc etc). This is the reason we are in division 3. The motive is ego and greed. They lack ambition. View Two The footballing budget stands comparison to most of the CCC but a succession of poor managerial appointments led to Div 3. Only the super rich can now fund the investment required for the Prem due to player wages. DS/MWJ lack the cash.
Cheers
