1. I really do wonder what some people are thinking when they post on here. Billy Davies and Adie Boothroyd? Davies played disgusting football at Derby, time wasting for most of the second half as soon as they got their noses in front. Yes he got them up but then what happened? They even got a big take over and they''re still struggling. Boothroyd I think may make a decent manager if he radically adjusts his philosophy, but again he got Watford up and then what happened? It doesn''t help to get promoted with no chance of staying there. Yes, you get the sky money but if you come straight down you end up worse off because the players are still on silly money. I''d rather we played football and had a chance of getting promoted in five years time, than hoof our way up.
2. "why do ipswich hate us? i know norwich with muscat etc... guessing ipswich do because we genuinly piss all over you every season and dont deny it because every year i can think of we have at least 3pts vs you" Everyone hates you. Big time charlies who spit on the man who funded your horrid little club for so many years.
3. 1. The FA allows clubs to rip out the seats and bring back terracing at grounds, leading to a vastly improved atmosphere, where fans sing. 2. The installation of a rule whereby managers are appointed at the start of a season and cannot be sacked or resign until the season is over. 3. Sky TV money is split how TV money used to be. 50% to the Premiership, 25% to the championship and 25% to Leagues 1 and 2. Sod it, I''d better make the Premiership get 40% and give 10% to "grass roots football". Also a rule should be introduced to ensure that of the money clubs get from TV at least 50% is spent on training facilities for academies, with a further instruction that allows the local community to use said facilities. Sadly the FA is run by w*nkers of the highest order so none of this will ever happen. Government intervention is the only way. Write to your MP! Give Ian Gibson something to do other than moan about Delia.
4. "A lesson to all that do not seem to understand... the time for playing pretty football and not caring about the results passes when children hit their teenage years... from that point onwards results are everything." This is the reason that England has a failing national team and generally our players lack skill and finese. Egotistical fools like yourself managing kids teams and telling them "if in doubt, kick it out".
5.
Dion Dublin was a not a legend... He was an ageing striker/centre back who played in two of the worst City sides in the last 50 years. Maybe Roeder should pursuede him out of retirement, so that he can make that 3 of the worst City sides in the last 50 years. He was a big reason for why NCFC were nearly relegated last season. You all slag Cureton off who was top scorer... Dublin played nearly every game... remind me how many he scored again. Those are facts... everything that supports your guys legendary status is farcical nonsense.
Despite your extreme opinions about the board I had assumed you must have some vague understanding of the game of football. This post proves otherwise. Stop posting this nonsense. Dion was a great player, basically managed the team on the pitch. He was constantly organising and instructing, and without him we would almost certainly have been relegated. He didn''t score many but he enabled others to score, he also played in defense fairly often. Dion is also one of only around thirteen players to have scored 100 premier league goals. He is a fantastic example of a footballer in this cynical modern age, and is widely respected by all. But then you have to disagree don''t you? You do not watch Norwich City matches this is a fact.
6. So many idiotic posts here because the Doc aint pretty. I''m pretty sure that in the speed tests previously mentioned he''s very quick over thirty yards but much slower over ten. He''s quick but his acceleration is poor. He''s consistent, wins almost everything in the air, and to paraphrase Worthington "will put his face where others won''t put their feet". Yes, he gives away too many free kicks, but if he had a Fleming to play alongside week in week out he''d be almost as good as Malky (and the word almost was only inserted through sentiment). Best centre back at the club, just needs to form a partnership.
7. I think the full backs are the only loans who are a problem. We have no strikers except Cureton and strikers cost too much so I am content for us to rely on loans up front for this season and maybe even next. However, in my opinion Drury at this moment in time would be a better and more consistent defender than Bertrand this season. I have no doubt that Bertrand is technically a better footballer than Drury and I am pretty sure that when he is Drury''s age he will be a premiership player. Not only that, but Bertrand is going to leave, either in January or at the end of the season. By this time Drury will have wasted half a season or a whole season not playing and therefore being unfit. For a player of his age and given his recent injuries, this will not only make him want to leave, but it will have weakened him as a player and therefore bring down his value. In my opinion Adam Drury has been a model pro for us. He has been consistently solid, coped well with playing behind a loose cannon like Huck*rby (even in the Premiership) and deserves to be first choice. I see absolutely no reason why Drury should not be a starter for us. We did not need a first choice left back when Glenn was recruiting this summer, and we have wasted valuable resources on this ludicrous two in every position policy.
8. If he plays 40 games for Chelsea, Gilligham should get around 5m plus, which I imagine is the "value" of somebody like Wayne Bridge. Having played 40 games for Norwich, Gillingham should get over 1m as that is what it would cost us to buy him. The tribunal system is yet another in the long list of crimes the FA has established to favour the big clubs, mostly because the FA is run by the chairmen of the big clubs. In any other industry this would be know as a conflict of interest. The FA stinks. Bring back the blazers I say.
9. I think my personal preferences are probably getting the better of me. I''m not entirely sure exactly what Wenger said in his "apology" to Taylor but I remember when I heard it, it sounded more like "It was an unprofessional thing to say" than what he should have said which is "I was completely wrong, in no way did Taylor intend to injure my player and I apologise unreservedly." I also think he should have been harsher to the fans about Eboue, they are not all going to go and riot about it, as they''d be screwed without Wenger. He could have set a precedent, and maybe even City fans would have taken notice!
10. This is all pointing to the huge issue of where to draw the line. Ferguson has stood up and complained, Wenger hasn''t but in my opinion Wenger is a coward. His comments about Martin Taylor which were never properly apologised for and his lack of disdain for the Arsenal fans treatment of Eboue.
11. oh dear. My guesses were much more tame. I think West Ham fans singing about Roeder''s illness is probably as bad, as is the Wenger song. If there''s any fairness surely they''ll be pictures in the Mail nearly every week.
12. I''m not even sure what the chant is, but I guess you can hardly tell me on here!
13.
Why can''t we use the money from this deal to put towards signing Lita?
Your understanding of finance is hilarious.
14. I am not condoning the alleged chanting by these Spurs fans, and it is alleged. We have this thing in this country, quite important in the grand scheme of things called "innocent until proven guilty". I don''t think these men are a danger to the public so their photos should not have been published. I am also intersted to know where the line is drawn. Should archant be releasing pictures of NCFC fans singing the George Burley/Jim Magilton Daydream Believer song? Surely it is blatant zenophobia. Should we be able to sing "you fat bastard"? Surely this is sizeist (or whatever the term is) Should we able to sing about bald players? Should we be able to sing "she fell over"? This is surely sexist. Is "Gypo! Gypo!" still acceptable? Surely this is also racist. Various scum related songs incite violence. The point I''m trying to make is that most amusing football chants are funny because they are so crudely politically incorrect. We should outlaw hateful racism but where should the line be drawn? and more importantly who should draw it? Not the FA for sure as I trust them about as much as Jeffrey Archer.
15. I think that Asda Man will be used off the bench for this month at least, he''s bound to be seriously unfit. If he''s any good then he''ll play upfront with Wes behind him, when Lita goes back. If he''s rubbish then we''ll play the loan lottery again.
16.

He is old and well past him prime. If he wasn''t he would still be playing for a good team. His previous exploits in England were not that productive. Why we would even think about wasting money on him is beyond me. If we had to play a target man i would rather play Renton, young, something to prove not someone whos just looking for a bit more money before retiring.
Disagree. Firstly, he had a good time at Spurs. It didn''t go so well at Wolves but I''m pretty sure he got about 40 goals for Spurs. Secondly, he''s proven quality. Renton is a long way off this standard. Thirdly, he''s experienced at both club level and international level and that can only help our fairly young squad.
40 goals, but you realise he was at Spurs for 7 years right? He may be free scoring in Norway but Scandinavian leagues are hardly of a high standard. He would be an appauling signing.
How many "scandanavian league" matches have you watched exactly? Do you know anything at all about Norway or are you just sprouting nonsense? I am fed up of people on here deciding that entire countries they have never been to have a low standard of domestic football. Yes, the English Premiership maybe the "best in the world" but we''re not in it. Where do you think all the great scandanavian players, who graced the Premiership played before they got to England? By the way, I do not think we should sign Iversen, this is simply a rant against ignorance, for your enjoyment.
17. Okay, so you''re having a laugh, and I''m getting wound up. That''s not much of a justification for what I maintain was a stupid comment. So far your justification has been simply mocking old people, can you please just admit that Don Howe is a very good and well respected coach? I do indeed hate the fact that we have Aviva plastered over the back of our shirts and my experiences with some of Norwich Union''s management have led me to dislike the company.  I simply said I hate Norwich Union, in no way am I doubting their ability as insurers.
18. Jesus Christ. You cannot blame our scouts for where a nine year old ends up. Get a grip. Also please realise that 19 out of 20 under 18 internationals do not go on to play professional football at any level. For example Francis Jeffers was the only player from his England Youth team to play Premiership football. It really isn''t anywhere near as simple as you make out.
19. As I''m sure you well know I am not talking about Don Howe as a footballer but as a coach. I asked if defensive strategy had changed a great deal since Don Howe was a coach, I made no comments or judgement on him as a player. Mostly as I have no idea what he was like as a player. Just as you clearly have no idea what he was like as a coach. There is no need to apologise for having a differing opinion to mine. However I believe that football in terms of tactics is essentially the same as it was when Don Howe was coaching. Your analogy of Henry Ford and Formula 1 was and still is ridiculous because football is essentially the same, cars aren''t. I would still like you to tell me how football has changed since Howe''s coaching days apart from it being faster. The fact that Howe is now 73 (well done for taking the time to look that up by the way) is irrelevant and making jokes about bingo and sudoku does little to back up your claims. What you wrote was stupid and Don Howe is considered by many professionals to be a "master tactician". Still waiting....
20. I have read several accounts by people such as Stuart Pearce, Brian Clough and Bobby Robson that Don Howe is widely regarded as a brilliant coach, in particular organising at the back. Obviously you all know better having seen him coaching. I am also sure that if Don Howe wanted a coaching job he would have one. He is retired but helping out Ipswich, presumably as a favour. He is not an employee of the club.I hereby retract my statement that Howe is a better defensive coach than Roeder or Magilton will ever be, as my time machine is still in it''s early stages of development. I still think what you said is ignorant and ill-informed. This attitude many seem to have that you suddenly become rubbish when you retire, and that years of experience count for nothing because "the game has changed" is b*llocks. In what way has the game changed for a defensive coach since Don Howe was working for England? The principles are the same. Also maybe I''m missing something but, how is it a contradiction to say that what you wrote was stupid and that Don Howe is a master tactitian? Please explain this, and your opinion that he is not a very good coach because he has retired.
21. "If a manager like Magilton needs to ask an old man like Don Howe how to tighten up his defence he must be a very sh!te manager. No disrespects to Don Howe but it is like asking Henry T Ford to design a Formula One racing car. Different era, different ways." That is the stupidest thing I have ever read. Don Howe is a master tactician, doesn''t matter in the slightest how old he is or how long ago he last coached, the man can organise a defence better than Magilton or Roeder ever will. The fundamentals of the game haven''t changed and hopefully never will. The more I think about it the more stupid your comments seem. Please retract them!
22. There is loads of brilliant music being made, it is just the crap which is pushed in peoples faces. You have to look for beautiful melodies these days, and there is lots out there under the ground.
23. I would also be ashamed if we signed Lee Hughes. To be honest he was a complete w*nker on the pitch even before he killed anybody. Just appears to be a disgusting human being. If staying up means signing him then bring on League 1.
