1. Very true Rich, but it still sticks in the craw,Rich company owners are still at it, the latest being BHS.10 years on the 12th of September, where has that time gone too???
2. Myself, the family and friends spent many a happy hour in The Carmelites, closed far too early in its life unfortunately. I was a press operator during my time there. I always got on very well with Mr Peter though and have spoken to him several times since. The last occasion was last September during the heritage week-end, took some family to the John Jarrold museum, he was in there speaking to a former pressman, Billy Hall, who had just celebrated his 102nd birthday, took a photo of them both.
3. The store and the print works were two very separate entities of a large group. I started my apprenticeship at the print works on 24th August 1971 and was made redundant on September 12th 2006. The company had gone into administration a few weeks earlier after being "run"by a management buy-in team for about two and a half years. We were always told that a move was on the cards as soon as a suitable site could be found outside of Norwich city centre. Every new proposed site failed to materialise and fairly soon the writing was on the wall as the lack of investment took it''s toll on productivity compared with other UK printers. After six weeks of administration the company was declared insolvent, with no monies available for redundancy payments. The workers were paid from the Government Redundancy Scheme, in my case receiving some £6k for 35 years service. Funnily enough just over 2 years later the Administrators were paid in excess of £2.5million for their services!!! Where did that money come from???? Yes, still bitter after almost 10 years but have, with recent financial scandals of the rich taking more and more, at the expense of the people who helped create that in the first place, realise that there is something seriously wrong with the world. So no angel here!!!

6. Two things did it for me:1) I blame the groundsmen for not mowing our pitch in the Leicester style.I''m sure you all saw the lovely patterns at the KingPower on MOTD week in, week out.All the 45 degree patterns cut into the surface that ''fed'' into the six yard box, the players didn''t have to look up,just followed the patterns knowing someone would be there further into the box, simples really.2) We were $hite most of the season.
7. too slow in the build-up,, Redmond seems scared to run at their defence.hopefully more commitment in 2nd half.
8. should read 29 points dropped aginst bottom teams
9. too many points dropped aginst teams currently in the bottom half of the table: 27 pointsand 42 points lost to teams in the top half as it stands.
10. careful Mortimer, you''re close to exploding all over yer pc.[:D]
11. you never seen The Puppet Man then????
12. I''m here to re-dress the balance of slagging off the team in the last few weeks.Didn''t see all of the game on my stream but saw a good battling performance which, in my opinion, has been missing recently.Well done to the whole team and the fans too, a very good point gained. My only worry is the stats (BBC), 3 attempts on goal, 0 on target, though I feel sure hitting the crossbaris near enough on target in my book.Feeling more optomistic this evening, felt so chuffed I went and cut the grass for the first time this year.[:D]
13. Its just as well I''m here to talk some of you down off the ledge.I''m sure you push some over the ledge.[:D][:D]

15. All our other strikers haven''the exactly been scoring too many, so why not give Laffs a go. But then again the ''Mighty Morty '' has informed us why this will not happen.
16.
There''s something rather familiar about this latest spat...
I''ll agree with that comment 100%, interesting that the same posters are linked to it,happy that all is well with 1 point from 27.
17. ''If someone is right, it doesn''t make them arrogant.''But you seem to think you are more right than others, so perhaps I should have said ''deluded''.Enjoy the rest of the day, got to go and entertain Mother and Mother-in-Law now. Now that is stressful.
18. A fair response. But for most of the time you appear to get yer rocks off on here by thinking your comments are the only ones with any credence. As a matter of interest your location says NR1/North Sea, so I guess you work offshore eh?I wonder whether you adopt the same arrogant attitude on the platforms with your work colleagues? If so, I''d be very careful as the North Sea is very cold this time of year.:))
19. so Morty, are you saying that a high post count gives you more credence than others??
20. it''s not gloating because we lose, it''s anger, that in what is probably one of the mostimportant Premier League seasons ever, that we seem to be sinking into oblivion but you and others appearhappy to let it continue and still have a go at others who are voicing their concerns.
