1. Hi everyone. Does anyone know how you go about moving your season ticket seat for next season?
2. Hi everyone. Does anyone know how you go about moving your season ticket seat before next season? Been on Canaries website and couldnt find anything.
3. How can anyone say that was a genuine decision for the penalty when that Ref clearly didnt give it.  and then the linesman didnt see the offside leading up to the 3rd goal????   Yet another game Norwich are robbed of the points by poor officiating and yet again for another week the officials help Arsenal win the points.
4. Of course Villa went public.  thats how business is done in football these day.  The clubs says no you cant talk to the person then the media pops up and tells the person that way.  Then comes the transfer request and goodbye and thankyou for your services.
5. thanks for the replies.  much appreciated.    The thing is that it seems that Norwich City sold these shares in an attempt to raise some money and in return you get a piece of paper that is worthless.  Surely there was a lot of these things sold at the time so other supporters must also have at some point been curious with the value or what can be done with them.   It seems that everywhere you go they all sneer and say they dont want to know about Norwich City shares.   Very curious?????
6. Can anyone help.  My mother-in-law has some Norwich City ordinary shares and wants to sell them.  She has spoken to the club and they useless and no help.  she went to a broker and they wouldnt help.  then went to Barclays bank and they said they camnt deal with them.  All she wants to do is sell them on to someone who wants them.   There is 8 shares in 2 groups of 4. (apprently them were issued is 4s)Apparently a year ago they were valued at £30 a share but now city are in the prem they must be worth a tad more.  That is roughly what she wants.  If anyone is interested or can suggest somewhere to move them on then anything would be appreciated. cheers peeps
7. what will a protest achieve?  nothing.  the FA have made referees untouchable to the point that anyone associated with a football club will be punished for saying boo to the officials.  Far too many games in the Premier league is being dictated by poor decisions by the officials.  Referees turn their backs on head injuries and the linesmen are more useless than the corner flags.   So with clubs unable to protest or complain about a referee then who can speak up?  In my opinion The british footballs leagues have the worst referees in europe and there isnt a damn thing anyone can or will do about it.
8. finaly ive found a post with constructive critism. well said that man.
9. I posted my photos to a photo sharing website. Photobucket is one.  you can register for free.  flickr is another then post the links.
10. Norwich City post match celebrations part 1  <click hereSome photos hereThis was taken with my mobile.  The zoom ruins it a bit and its a bit shakey. but it very watchable.Enjoy.  WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE, SAY WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE..... Will add another when uploaded.
11. I thought Helen chamberlins comment was funny.  "He landed on an insurance advertising board" " I wonder if hes got a claim?"   lmao....or something similar
12. why do you have to kill a thread before it gets a chance?  no wonder people stop posting on here.
13. Which one would you prefer and why one and not the other?Ill start by saying id prefer 2nd spot.  looking at the teams in the play off places it could be very difficult for city to play home and away and then a final.  All our nerves would be shot to pieces.  As much as id love to go to wembley with City.....especially after the disapointment of cardiff a few years back.  Brilliant day out but bitterly disapointing.  there clearly good incentive for any team in the play offs.  Just look at Blackpool last year and the money they earned from winning the play off final.  I just feel that 2nd takes away all the stress and chewing of finger nails.   all we need is 3 wins and job done.
14.
Sometimes I wonder just what it is that people want. Here we are after 2 seasons of virtually unprecedented success & the majority of the posts I read are simply whinging & moaning. Some of the comments in the last 2 weeks, based on what we knew were always going to be 2 difficult away games, are almost unbelieveable. The 6-0 demolition of Scunthorpe, who have since beaten QPR, is all but forgotten. It''s also somewhat ironic that lots of people on here are quick to criticise Canary Call but in all honesty, this board can teach callers to that show a thing or two about not being able to see the wood for the trees. Crofts has lost it, Surman is useless, we don''t show enough ambition, Whitbread needs a rest, we need to get yet another striker in, we should have spent £5m+ to "guarantee" promotion (ah, that old chestnut), Ruddy isn''t good enough, Lansbury has become dissapointing, Ward is clumsy, Pacheco hasn''t lived up to early promise etc etc etc - I could go on. This board is getting just as bad as it was during the end of the 08/09 season - moan, moan, moan. At least then there was a good reason to whinge, but not now. No, we haven''t become a bad team overnight. We are still 3rd and still in with a great chance of promotion to the Premiership. I would have taken that at the start of the season. "Squeaky bum time" has well & truely arrived & it''s unlikely that everything will go our way but that''s no reason to start slagging off anything & everything. Give it a rest & leave it to the Manager & the team.
Absolutely agree with you on this.  Hit the nail right on the head.  its exactly why i stopped posting on this forum.  there are some great discussions on here but the whinging is beyond the joke.  Sometimes i cant believe what people have posted even after we have demolished some teams.  Never happy some people.
15. Funniest thing ive read since some of the recent pink un stuff.  http://forum.planetswans.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=95942i have to say i only went on there out of curiousity and couldnt stop laughin at some of the post they are putting up.  This one in particular was posted this evening at 8.09pm.   clearly after todays results 6-0 to us and them losing 2-1.What got me even more is the guy who started the post calls himself Fat Frank Lampard.  hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaSeems to me like Roast Lamb for sunday lunch next week would be lovely.
16.
As Norm snakepit, and part of lower Barclay which keeps the atmosphere going... if you sit in upper Barclay, jarrold, N+P, City Stand be prepared for slow death
Dont knock the upper barclay.  i sit up there every single home game and the atmosphere there is bloody loud.  its not just the lower part that make the noise.
17. why destroy a players chances before hes got started.  stop attention seeking and support your team.
18. Does anyone know anything about buying and selling the Norwich City shares etc.  Say i wanted to buy some shares, (like the ones they were selling a few years back for £25 or £100)  how would i go about acquiring some? Also if i wanted to then sell my shares, How would i go about selling them?
19.
No mythical source, just a gut feelings after reading PL''s views on Wilby in todays EDP.   Personaly, if we can''t, or won''t, get anyone in, its a damn shame Cody Mac can''t be recalled sooner imho.
Oh ye of little faith..... we will sign no striker on loan????   and PL signs 2.   I had to laugh.  A Lot.....
20. All we need is for Norwich to say No.  thats it.  Holt goes nowhere.  Prem or not.  We must keep our greatest asset.  But we should all take note in the fact that Lambert and McNally and Co are building a team not getting rid of our best players.  We all know City have a looooooong reputation of cashing in on our top players But now i firmly believe that Holt will sign a new contract and tell QPR to go F&^% themselves.
21. i started a new post without thinking.  but here it is.    The word at Carrow road is that the new seats are going to be put at the bottom of the City Stand.  From what i was told, They are going to move the barrier closer to the pitch and add 1 maybe 2 rows of seats there. Clearly that isnt 1500 seats so im not sure where the rest will go. There is not gonna be an option for those bottom row seat holders to move forward. They cannot add seats to the bottom of the Jarrold because that is as low as they can go with the seating there. Great thinking by the board.  Also found out that the clubs finacial situation is simple OK. and that the club is at the stage where they are extremely organised for next season with all the plans made and already being actioned. This is clearly the most organised City have been for years.
22. Absolutely great day.  the day was spent painting the yellow edging on all the steps in the stadium tio enable City to achieve their safety certificate.  Also the Black railings and the yellow gates were all painted to clean up the whole stadium.  While we were there there was corporate matches being played so we got to watch some shocking goalkeeping. I think 1st game was 5-1 and the second game was 6-0.  great fun.  Canaries for the Community do some great work and the whole was great fun. this is a great way that the club has saved some money. They would have had to pay someone to go and do it and CFTC have helped city big time.  I doubt anyone in the lower stands will get new seats cos they do look a bit grotty and splattered in bird crap.  lol
