1. Since skijumptoes entered the scene it has been mindboggling. All just too much for mere mortals.
 2.
i drove past there at 5 30 with cars at the front and back. there was a que of cars to get out. and 1 car rased down clney road overtaking me in the car and 3 cars in front. maybe to sell  picture of the car to local newspapers. etc. when i came back at 8 45 the gates were still open with lights still on inside the colney centre. normally when i come back from my dads or go there the gates are never open at those times when i go to my dads every tuesday and thursday. i think we should have signed players by now. and let me remind you players have to be back off holiday by 1st july for transfers and preseason. i think we have signed players today and over the last 2 weeks or so ready to all sign on 1st july what he did at newcastle. what do you lot think then?
Not sure what to think really.
 3.

I''m confused.com, could someone stop beating around the bush and explain to us whats going on and who Gordon really is? [:)]   The only post I can find that word '''' supercilious '''' in it was in a post in 2003 which was Bury Green and he''s been a regular poster for years??
I''m lost with the whole thing now.
Sure that 99% of us are lost.
 4.
no new players till early next week(missed out on two today) we have the money but players dont want to move to norwich, fingers cross people
Are you he or a friend of he?
 5.

Gordon is a Moron.............................
never a truer word spoken Arthur. Why the hell has the O P asked this bull sh****r if theres any news? jas :)
He might be friend of the family. Has brought GNG to posters attention again.
 6.
Has he actually posted on here since ryank''s posts yesterday? I''d be interested to know if he was just a bored City fan seeking some attention, or a binner on a wind-up mission. He was pretty convincing for a while, I have to say!
He has yes. He said that there would be a Press Conference today and he said it in "CAPITALS". So no PC today.
 7.
A few points, tribes I''m not a trusting person, I''m open minded. I recognise that this revamp could yet go either way - but I feel it''s a revamp that''s been needed for a number of years. There are staff there who have clinged on to their position too long simply because they were a part of the promotion winning campaign. We need fresh ideas and fresh perspectives - and thank god we''ve got a manager with the balls to see that and make some difficult decisions. Darren Huckerby had a very poor season. He only looked like the Darren Huckerby we know and love for a third of it, when he sorted out his hip injury. If it were, for example, the Doc who had been released, no one would have even cared despite Doc having a better, more consistent season than Huckerby and having been here only a few months less than Hucks. Neil Adams should either be an employee of the club or an independant commentator for the local press. To be both is, in my view, a conflict of these two roles and I''m surprised he''s gotten away with it for so long. Even so, I understand his role is going to be consolodated with the role just vacated by Darren Bloodworth''s resignation. The players he has released are fringe players, yes, but still members of the senior team. Ryan Jarvis, Rossi Jarvis, Andrew Cave Brown, Steven Arnold, Matthew Halliday etc - all players who have been on the fringe and according to past managers are "the next big thing". I''m sure releasing them has not released an awful amount in terms of wages and all that, but in my view it was about time these people were ditched. Again, it''s a decision that previous managers have been putting off and shows Roeder''s willingness to make these decisions that previous managers have shyed away from.
OK will take it you are openminded. We don''t know if staff were just "clinging" on or not. A manager has the right to have staff he wants, I have no argument with that. Darren Huckerby did not have a very poor season. That however is a matter of opinion. What Neil Adams said that so incensed Roeder was , "yes I would have Darren Hucklerby in my squad" which was an answer to a question posed to him. There was nothing more or less said on this matter by Adams. Roeder reacted with his " nasty person" statement and said he would deal with it, which he eventually did by removing him from the club. Adams did not get away with anything in the years he commentated for Radio Norfolk. He had no problem until Roeder came along. I am not saying that any of these players should have been kept on. Except for Ryan Jarvis we hardly saw them play.Again that is the managers decision. What I am saying is that this Roeder clearout, in terms of players, has not touched any of the regular players. He kept saying that there would be sweeping changes, when addressing performances of the team. The only sweeping change we have had in that department is the departure of Darrren Huckerby. THe manner of his exit has been debated at length on here. I personally thought it showed a trait in Roeders character that was insensitive to say the least. I have no respect for the way Roeder conducts himself and do not like him. As to whether he is successful here only time will tell and if he is it wiill not matter a jot whether we like him or not.
 8.
I genuinely cannot believe that anyone has actually any doubts about Roeder. Frankly, he''s done nothing so far as to warrant being judged. Releasing Huckerby was the right decision, how it was handled was a bit pants, but c''est la vie, that''s football. Roeder has also kept us up and is in the process of revamping the club from the bottom up, which I feel has been needed since we were relegated from the Premiership. I''m looking forward to seeing what direction we go under Roeder.
In your opinion it was the right decision. In the opinion of many others it was the wrong decision. How it was handled was pathetic and the Adams handling was also pathetic. He has certainly revamped the playing side Huckerby being the only player released who regularly in the first team squad, the rest were peripheral to it and mostly youngsters. As for the back room staff reorganisation we don''t really know do we whether it is good or bad. I am also looking forward to seeing what direction we are going with Roeder. You seem to be more of an optimist than I am but to suggest that you can''t see why anyone should have any doubts about Roeder does suggest you are an extremely trusting person.
 9.
Calm down people, the signings will come........and no I don''t have any inside info or source to back that statement up.......I just remain hopeful that they will. At the end of the day, Roeder knows more than anyone that we need quality and lots of it if we are even to survive next season. Let''s just wait and see.
The signings are bound to come. We need 9 to 10 more and will no doubt get them. I believe the real quality will be in the loans and from what Roeder has intimated htere could be 5 or 6 of them. They will be here much later when Prem clubs decide who they can release.
 10.

If Sammy Clingan is that good, surely Forrest would have kept him, especially as they have just been promoted??
if a player won''t sign a new contract it''s rather hard to keep them [:$]
That seems to have been the case with Clingan. He wanted to come here and his contract was up.
 11. If Hoolahan is definitely coming here then I can''t see Eastwood being signed.
 12.
In answer to JETSTREAM i think you are being a little bit oversensitive taking me to task for putting the phone down having spoken to the chief  executive and running straight to the message board.Nothing i put on here was said in confidence nor was i breaching any trust put in me by ND.Unless i am told things that i am asked to keep "within these four walls"surely i have a duty as NCISA spokesman to keep its members and indeed all interested fans of NCFC of matters discussed with NCFC senior officials. Some people have accused NCISA of being cosy with the club,Roy BLOWER of fence sitting in his days as chairman etc.Blimey we just cannot win can we?
I for one didn''t realise you were spokesman for NCISA. You haven''t broke a confidence just given out info. Nothing untoward in that.
 13.
I''ve read this for forum long enough to know that no-one will take a blind bit of notice of this as I haven''t posted before but had to share this ...  I work at a Housing Assoc. who are based in the offices at Carra Rud and on my way back from Morrisons (not Asda!!) at lunch I passed Neil Doncaster on the stairs up to my office and he was with Andy Cole and another chap who I didnt recognise... It wasn''t Clingan or Hoolihan as I would recognise them. Make of it what you will but I had to pass it on... [/quote I will believe you. Thankyou very much.
 14.
Im 15 years old and my mate plays for the under 16s academy side and he told me yesterday that Andy Cole was at the training ground for a good few hours! Hope this helps
If you are who you say you are then Thanks very much for the information. At the moment nobody believes anyone mainly because of Gordon, who posts lots of fibs.
 15.

i agree with Mr Tilson... the club sitting back with its feet up watching Dr Who on a saturday night isnt going to win us the championship when other clubs are working hard to sign players all day every day.... Are we really that backwards as a club? jas :)
and you know there doin that how?? roeder said in his interview yeaterday that they are working extremely hard and signings are slowly appearing. sounds promising to me :)
There probably are signings on the horizon, but if there weren''t would you really expect him to say so?  It makes me laugh the way people latch on to media speak as if it was holy writ.
As you say there probably are signings on the horizon. If there weren''t then we would have problems seeing that we need about 10 more players. What gets me is the statement which suggests that he hasn''t missed any of his targets. Gunny v.quiet since Nicholson " we are after him/no we aren''t".
 16.
Think you mean this bit of his interview GC ''''Roeder has signed just one player, Nottingham Forest midfielder Sammy Clingan, who this week agreed a Bosman move when his contract expires at the end of the month. Asked when the next one might be, he said: “I wouldn''t take the weekend off. I am hopeful. There is one in particular that keeps hitting the wall and bouncing away, but every time it is bouncing away it is not bouncing further. Hopefully the next time it hits the wall it stays put, then we have got him.”
It sounds a bit like Hoolahan to me, all this bouncing off walls. In all seriousness though I do believe that Hoolahan will be revealed soon.Perhaps this weekend if he is back from wherever.
 17.

So those who think he is useless must therefore be questioning Roeders judgement.
I am!.[:|]
I''m not over the top about it either Mr Wizard. Let''s just hopr the tide turns and it improves.
 18.

The ball is in Doc''s court and has been for some time now. Why are you defending a chap who clearly isn''t that bothered about playing for us?   While he has the odd good game, he has had plenty of bad ones
Why don''t you think the Doc is bothered about playing for us? Over the last 2 or 3 seasons he''s always played with genuine commitment to the cause. When the team is playing rubbish and when the crowd gets on his back for nothing he''ll still chuck himself infront of anything when quite often there are others players who aren''t doing their bit.   And that other comment is actually completely wrong. The truth is that the Doc has plenty of good games, and the odd bad game.
Geniune commitment should be the bare minumum of any footballer! He is in the prime of his career but last seasons there was still lots of times when he looked panicky and uncertain of who or what is going on around him - and this is our supposed top defender? Ask yourself why no one else has come in for him? Why has he been dropped by the Ireland squad when clowns like Paul McShane regularly get games? Why is the crowd always on edge when he''s in posession? Why does an ex-striker playing centre half NEVER score, yet we see plenty of centre halves score against us?
You are seriously questioning Roeders judgement then. "very safe defender" he says.
 19. Thanks for that info Camuldonum. Info that seems most reliable.
 20. It''s probably a good job that Gunny is now seemingly very quiet after the Nicholson statement he made. There is no way of knowing if we have missed out or not now.

So he obviously wants him to keep him here. So those who think he is useless must therefore be questioning Roeders judgement.
 22.
If he works at Carrow Road then he probably won''t work there much longer if it transpires he has been giving away their best kept secrets!
True. That''s why the London story is probably untrue. He is not an idiot.
 23.
Don''t think he ever said he works at Colney did he? His posts suggest to me he is based at Carrow Road as he kept referring to the fact there were lots of press/people there on Tuesday.
Same applies even if he works at Carrow Road.
 24.
from an article on vital footy roeder seems very, very confident that signings will appear within the next 2 weeks. good news i guess, we now just have to sit back, relax and let the man do his job :)
He''s on Rad Norfolk at 6pm.
 25.
Seems we feel confident in the fact that he''s on holiday anyway! I''ll bet he''s not caravanning!
He may be looking for one.
