1. I can see both sides here, but  I think last night showed Gunny''s inexperience, 2-0 up at home against a side your fighting against you cannot, CANNOT let that lead slip. Do you blame the players, the management or the fans (who were poor second half too)  Most people where I was sat felt that we needed a change and I think Gunn left it far too late before making it. But he''ll learn, and 4 from 6 isn''t the worst set of results, but it should be all six.
 2.
thats handy we need a few more midfielders sitting on the bench
I couldn''t agree more, no doubt I''ll be force to eat my words when he turns out to be Tim Cahills more talented brother but I''m extremely dissapointed with this one. C''mon Gunny wheres the striker and defenders??
 3. I think some of the posters have hit the nail on the head, If it were Just Gunn then I''d be very unhappy, but I think the package of all three is a good apointment, similar to the England rugby, appoint an inspirational figure head who commands respect, but has F-all managment expirence, back him up with top coaches. I think the board did good on this one (a scary thought!)
 4. I realise this is a time of uncertanty at the club, we''ve been under performing for a few years now, having gone through managers the way Ipswich town fans go through baths (i.e: one a year). All of us love our club, and hold Gunny Chippy and Deehan in the highest regard, but doubts remain, can a rookie manager and a guy who''s been sunning him self in the company of convicts down under really turn our club round, can they lead us back to the promised land of the Prem?Worry not fellow fans, I have the answer!5 minutes ago I asked my lucky magic 8 ball if Gunny would succeed, Not a moments pause before "yes" flashed up.feeling bouyed I asked will norwich be promoted in the next 3 seasons? "a certanty" it replyed.I am not one to post rumors or gossip, I just thought you''d like to know.O.T.B.C!
 5.
I didn''t see it myself my friend told me. But did anybody else see Lupoli storm off in a mood down the tunnel. Refusing to listen to anyone who put their arm on his shoulder? Maybe a combination of not being allowed to take the penelty, not starting and pattison shooting rather than playing him in. Anyone else see? May mean he will be off soon ...
Anyway... back to the Question,  Just got back from the game, Lupoli did stomp off at the end rather sharpish.
 6. Waghorn saying that roeder turned up a full hour after the final whistle for the press conference!
 7. I  know I''m not alone in saying that I wont be attending the match tonight, the most punishment I feel I can take is listening to the game. As it''s an FA cup game, does this mean we can listen to it via the bbc norfolk website, or am I going to have to remember where I slung the portable radio?
 8.

I do not think people on here are getting the point. The views expressed on here are from a very very small minority of Norwich Suporters who think they represent the views of the majority fairly....thats just arogant and false.
Do they?  News to me.  I represent myself and nobody else.  Perhaps you''re the one who''s missing the point.
Ahh, NorwichRat schoolboy error there my friend, never provoke forum types!Must say however for the most part I agree, but while I don''t think we are a mid table premiership club, we most certainly are a better club than at present. I''ll be renewing my season ticket, but can totally understand the anger and frustration most people on here feel, I feel it too!
 9.
I''m sure someone will know the answer - as a matter of interest, what were the "borders" of Iceni dominance/ influence?
I think they were pretty much stuck in Norfolk, was it somewhere round Caistor? Might be wrong..
 10.
The Sc*m would consider it as long as Glen Roedernowhere has nowt to do with it! Roeder out!
I think it would be a tough choice, Roeder or Magilton as Gaffer of the Mighty Iceni?
 11.
Our financial plight is well documented, and as we all know we have no money to compete with the "big boys" of the Championship (I am talking about Blackpool and Barnsley here). It has since emerged that our neighbours down the A140 are also in the financial mire. The answer is simple, Norwich City and Ipswich Town should pool resources and merge into one club/team, we could be called Iceni United. The two grounds could be sold, one of the training grounds sold, the back office functions merged/rationalised, surplus players/coaches sold etc etc. A new purpose built stadium could be in the Diss area. What would emerge would be a lean organisation, with a large fanbase, and a half decent team. You may mock this idea, but it makes sound financial sense.......
Not only does It make financial sense but as I live in the Diss area it cut down on my commute! I have no problems with this idea.... as long as "Iceni United" play in yellow and green and, are affectionalty known as the canaries (after Boadicea''s penchant for little fellas of course!)
 12.

I used to train with Garforth Town and played a pre-season match for them once during my time my time in Leeds.
you then went on to sign for Barcelona, before heading to Real madrid and Manchester utd.. but we all missed your tenure as england striker. jas :)
Is it possible you went on to a top managerial career after hanging up your shootin'' boots? at least then we''d have one fan qualifyed to tell Roeder how poor the teams been of late!
 13. By the way the best bit of that BBC article is that Garforth manager Simon Clifford'' "Thinks" that the most capped Brazilian and double world cup winner Cafu "will add something on the field"
 14.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7789626.stm ...surely he would help our defense
Dont Garforth town have a history of massive signings? Didn''t Socrates play for them??
Yep..."Previous signings of Brazilian players Socrates and Careca along with former England International Lee Sharpe have all seen full-page articles in every national tabloid, numerous features on ITV and Sky, national radio coverage and over 100,000 web-based articles and features."
Was that from Wikipedia? If so we should update it to include Smudger! Are the tabloids aware he trained with them??
 15.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7789626.stm ...surely he would help our defense
Dont Garforth town have a history of massive signings? Didn''t Socrates play for them??
 16. whoareyou? - "The only reason to buy Harper is if Marshall is leaving."Is that totally out of the question?
 17. From the official site:"Tickets are available on the night on the turnstiles priced at £4 for adults, £1 for over 60s and under 16s - there will be NO free admission to season ticket holders and no tickets will be available in advance."When did that change? I thought reserve and youth games were free?
 18.
I''m seriously considering it - am I right in thinking it''s free to get in for season-ticket holders? Went to see a couple of FAYC games a few years back – victories over Newcastle and Villa, who were rated as one of the best academies in the country at the time.I wonder if Stoke''s youth team play unashamedly ugly long-ball football?
I thought It was, but have just seen this:http://new.edp24.co.uk/content/sport/story.aspx?brand=EDPOnline&category=Sport&tBrand=EDPOnline&tCategory=sport&itemid=NOED05%20Jan%202009%2016%3A47%3A08%3A293could have sworn an article yesterday said otherwise though?
 19.
300k, we''re rich!!! [:D]
Well, it''s 300k towards roeders severance package anyway!
 20. I know Watford are in deep trouble, and I''ve never rated Jay DeMerit, but surely there''s a better option for them out there, christian dailly perhaps? Whats next? A Norwich midfield pairing of David Frost and Stephen fry? For sure there''s power there, but strength and pace.....
 21. If it is true that he has a sell on clause I hope It''s not as stupid as the one Earnie had in his.To be honest I don''t think you can really blame Hoolahan or his agent if they are shopping around; he came here expecting to be playing regular football for a much improved side.
 22. Just wondering how many people are going to watch the U18''s play Stoke wednesday night? Anyone hazard a guess at the kind of turn-out they''ll get?Im gonna go as from what I''ve been hearing they are a better side to watch than the seniors at the moment!
 23.
I''ve no real firm opinion as I haven''t seen enough. What I''d like is for all our youth players to have a fair crack in terms of a few runs in the first team in their natural positions, before we discard them. Problem is that it hasn''t happened since the early 00''s.
I dont think there''s really been the oppertunity to blood youngsters, last season and this season for instance, do you want to take the risk when you''re scrapping around for survival?
