Watching the replay, Trybull closed him down and got a foot on the ball but didn't quite get clean possession, forced Forestieri back another few years, waited for him to come again and then BANG. Couldn't do much but admire the strike.

Bruce was complaining the ref added too much time on, helpfully ignoring the time added on was caused by their keeper's time wasting (for which he should have received a 2nd yellow). He also didn't mention the handball goal, the original yellow for the keeper handling outside the box or the fact that their players managed to avoid numerous yellow cards for cynical shirt pulls.

Thought the same, ref should have sent him off, warned him several times about time wasting but the keeper called his bluff thinking the ref wouldn't have the bottle to show him a red, and he was right. Until Vrancic's goal flew in I was going to spend the evening raging at the injustice of the decisions, now I'm just relieved.

Yeah I think he well and truly bottled that.

It's fair to consider some of the players may just be tired, especially after so little squad rotation since Xmas
