  1. "If you flush the toilet without putting the lid down, the water particles are sprayed up to a distance of six feet, landing on your sink and toothbrush." That would be an impressive feat for water to achieve considering the positioning of my sink. Women - if you do put the seat down, you end up with more than just a few particle of urine over everything than if you leave it up and make it less of a challenge... ;)
  2. Good signing in Football Manager 2010... ;)
  3. "I pay for a full game and will damn well watch one" I pay for a full game and will damn well watch exactly however much I want to watch of it
  4. "Come on Morty, if you were a true supporter you wouldn''t let such trivial things like that get in the way" Yeah, Morty! I flew back from Amsterdam once, early, just to see the City play! :P The missus didn''t appreciate it... especially for my reasons... I wanted to be able to walk to a City game and walk home - so when City were playing Brighton, I had to fly home from The ''Dam, just so I could enjoy walking to the game! haha! :)
  5. Actually - Arthur "I''m not a racist, but..." Whittle should be up there
  6. Wow... never thought you''d hear of a scout, going to a game before... you think they do this often or is this a one off?
  7. Power Hamster - cheers dude - that is very interesting...! I''m honestly shocked tho... I''d definitely thought that Golden Boots were official and that it would require the ref to report on that - cheers for the clear up.
  8. Just to make myself clear; Better loses £10k after PA error = story FA get it right, but PA get it wrong, no quotes from OTJ actually showing he gives a to$$ = slow news day
  9. "Anyone betting on a goalscorer in the game would have an interest as it is only their opinion that counts for bookmakers" Again agreed - but Tudor Jones who "wants his goal back" probably wasn''t betting... so....?
  10. "The Press Association are responsible for updates from all grounds - they''re behind the live updates service you''ll see on the BBC site and other nationals, and the goal updates at the bottom of Sky Sports News - a service we were asked to buy into during the whole DataCo farce in the summer. You can see why we politely declined...." Yeah - but what I''m saying is - in terms of Tudor Jones officially being awarded the goal - surely that comes from the referee and goes to the Football Ass.? I know the PA are responsible for the general level of (pathetic) coverage for news sites in general.... that isn''t news in itself! Ultimately - who give a $hit what the PA think, if the Football Association credit the correct people? Or does the PA have the official say in reporting to the Football Ass.?
  11. Mis-reporting is one thing - happens all the time, but what has the PA got to do with officially "awarding" a goal or not? Surely that is down to the FA and the referee not a antiquated news aggregator... Pete?
  12. I''ve criticised the site myself for similar reasons - it''s a flash site, and therefore, one I''ll never visit regularly. Shame, as I''m sure the content probably isn''t as bad as the site itself...
  13. "if he shares waynes liking for prossies he''ll probably stay at ipswich for life" Surely he''d go somewhere else - you know - where they aren''t all dead...? Excuse me, I''ll just be getting my coat...
  14. "as someone mentioned a few weeks backwhat the heck is a blog ? i never really have understood the concept " It''s a modern formalisation of the old web "homepage" that existed before the days of web commercialisation and the separate phenomenon of homepage "ghettos" such as Facebook and MySpace.
  15. Shite - wasn''t paying attention, listening to City - thought it was Cardiff :(
  16. Cardiff just scored at exactly the same time as Holt did for us!
  17. You don''t like watching your rivals (hopefully) loose? What I''m hoping for! :)
  18. Actually - it''s crazy that the deciding factor of whether an attacking midfielder is "great" or "good" is his ability to tackle...
  19. "of course he is a midfielder , but a really great midfielder has far more to his game " Sorry mate - as an attacking central midfielder Scholes was up there with great and greatest...
  20. "If Paul Scholes played for any other team than Man Utd his disciplinary record would be horrendous , he is a good passer , but a midfielder is more than that " So Paul Scholes doesn''t qualify as a Midfielder to you? Funny... since IMHO as a midfielder he has been the best English player of his generation.
  21. "The emphasis was on KEEP not MAKE." It''s all kept... www,google.com www.archive.org :)
  22. I meant; If you have that opinion, why are you on a forum in the first place - if it''s not to express your opinions or read other peoples...?
  23. "Unless you see youself as a later day Dickens why would anyone want to keep your ramblings other than yourself?" If you have that opinion, why are you on a forum in the first place - if it''s not to express or read your opinions...?
