1.
Hardhouse - You talk alot of sense and i read and agree with most of what you say.  But please don''t feel the need to have to reiterate your loyalty self as a fan just because you don''t like the the manager of this football club and would like him replaced.  You''re just heeding to the "bully brigade on here".  Noone but noone has to justify their support to anybody else on this message board.
Thank you. I just get a little ticked off when just because you don''t think everything in the garden is rosy your told your not a true fan. I go despite my dissatisfaction. We need to keep united as fans whilst supporting our great team. After that debate and opinion is always good and after all what a bore this forum would be if we all agreed all the time. I do however take offence when illiterate half wits question my or your or anybody’s loyalty and right to support OUR team. Cheers Sussex.
 2.
Agree with both Pitvhfork and Irish Canary as both seem reasonable positions. What is really irksome are those that come and moan/ boo throughout the game. Everybody would be better off without them. Irish Canary - as you seem one of the more reasonable "worthy outers" (the non-booing variety), is there any possibility that you would relent and return if (please note the "if") the early encouraging signs are sustained and developed upon? It would be a shame if you were to miss out if we were tobecome successful.
I wonder how many of last seasons booer’s are now behind whorty after our good start. As somebody who would like a change at the top I would like to point out that you can not be dissatisfied with the manager and still be a Norwich City fan. I never boo or protest. My interest is what is best for my club. My belief is a different manager would bring in new ideas new players and a fresh start. This is not a negative opinion in my eyes. It is my opinion and it is my right. Is that a reason for me to stop supporting Norwich and to stop renewing my season ticket which I have done for 25 years through thick and thin. I don''t think so. Opinion is the difference between a dictatorship and democracy. I love my football club and will never stop going to CR.
 3.
Now, minus the usual insult, answer my question Hardhouse: A win Tuesday, will be down to Worthy, yes?.
If we get a win then yes. But southend are the lest of our/your or Worthys worries. 1 win against what will be one of the leagues whipping boys won''t add up to much if we can''t beat the better side or even get a draw. I don''t think we will win mind you. We beat Sheff utd away from home last year and if you want to give Worthy credit for that you can do but it didn''t amount to much as far as a season was concerned did it. Your problem is you have jumped ship so publicly on here and so dramatically that you have nowhere else to go. The squad is paper thin, many of the first teamers are not good enough and we will not win many on the road. I don''t need to insult you to make you look silly results and our position come the end of the season will do that for me. I don''t support Worthy, Please don''t come and join me. (although if we do fail you probably will!)
 4.
not essential rite now but we need 2 get our form back on track, 3-0 at cov cud be a blip or the start of a bad run
Why is it "Not essential" I would say it very essential if we are to mount any challenge on promotion. If we can''t get results at places like southend we stand little if no chance of getting the points we need. Always somebody offers an excuse. So if we play ok make some chance and lose 1 nil in the last min that will be ok.
 5. You may well be right. The truth is he couldn''t do any worse. Worthington can''t get away results that is a fact a plain fact. His overall record is terrible.
 6.

Is not Hunter 1st team coach?, why is no one blaming him, why is Worthy always to blame?. I''ll tell you why?, its personal with some posters on here, we all know who they are, and they''ve been dying for this to happen for weeks now!. After just one, yes one, defeat, and in 4th place in the Championship, of course I''m still backing Worthy, why the hell not?.
As stated in my other post this undying devotion is baffling. Hunter is no more to blame than the players he is worthys man they are worthys men. His choice his responsibility his fault. I also doubt your credibility as your just as likely to jump ship again next week.
So, going by your own rules Hardhouse, when we next win (Tuesday) you will give full credit to Worthy...............and not Hunter. You can''t have it both ways you know!.
What rubbish I have unlike you never changed my stance on the manager.
 7.

Whats all this 1 bad game stuff. 3 game we''ve played they away games and scored no goals. If but and only don''t count. 3 games 1 point not good. so we have had 3 good games 1 average game as indicated a draw and 2 bad games. Points will decide the league not waffle and delusion be it from Worthy or his supporters.
Yes But 10 Points from 6 games is solid start. We wont win every home game but if we can realistically pick up more than 50 points at home it takes the pressure off, and we wont a brilliant away recored to reach the play offs. Of course 1 point from 9 is a concern, of course not scring in 3 is a worry, but in the other 2 we were unlucky - today was the first bad perfromance. I know its points not performances that matter but if we can get back to the way we played at derby and leeds, keep creating chances like we did then, we will win as many as we lose.
The end of your post is just management speak. If we keep. Then it well. It''s just management waffle. What if we DON''T what then another season where the money just slips away paying players wages who aren''t up to the job. I''m sorry but no one has give one sound reason for this devotion to the manager and his abject performances
 8.

Try telling the Blahs, Dicky''s and Herbs of this world. It concerns me that any fans can be as brain washed as them. Worthys away record is completely indefensible, even the forementioned three are incapable of twisting the truth regarding this.
Blimey SussexCanary - you got back from Coventry to Sussex very quickly - took me a lot longer.  Still, nice to see you are able to comment based on fact one again....
So if you don''t go to every away game you can have no opinion. Right better stop talking about the Sky tv matches all the England matches and any other sporting event that we haven''t attended. Childish is all I can say. How many game have you been to Dick more than anybody else surely?
 9. Yes we will do all that and yes we have every chance of winning at home. But we go away every other week and get nothing. Home form is blinding many as it is all they see. At home we will win games as do many the key to success is to get regular points away.

 12.

Not an answer. Just an insult.
You missed my point about Barnsley then...and you did go on, it was more of an observation than an insult. I think you need to grow a thicker skin, you poor delicate little flower...
Again you offer no answer. Who''s talking about changing the manager every 12 months. Not me. I see no point about Barnsley. What do they have to do with why some fans defend Worthington regardless. You feel better for calling me a delicate flower then fine. Maybe it makes up for that rubbish our team turned out again today in your world.
 13.

I could go on
You did. And on, and on, and on...Ask Barnsley fans about changing the manager every 12 months.
Not an answer. Just an insult. What I was after was a reasoned argument between two adults. What I got was not a reason just a glib retort
 14. Why is he so defended by some fans? What is it that make you always want us to give him more time? I just don''t get it. Is it that you think we owe him because of our promotion? Is it that his charisma? Is it his tactics? Is it that you have not seen better? Is it that your frightened of change? Is it that you like to defend the underdog? Is it that you feel sorry for him? Is it that you are satisfied with his performance over all?!! Is it that he is a nice guy? I could go on but it''s not going to help me understand. As somebody who genuinely thinks that we could do better a whole lot better with a different input from the top I honestly don''t understand what you lot see in the guy. He has done well financially out of Norwich what do we owe him. Oh is it better the devil you know? In that case bring back Chase cos we played much better football at a much higher level when he was here! Is it that you don''t think we could do better? cos that one would really need some explaining. Please without degenerating in to a slanging match tell me WHY.
 15.
Look, do you know how pathetic it is to be calling for the managers head after one poor performance in 6? Fair enough if we continue to play poorly over the next few games then questions can be asked, but not after one game. We''re still 3rd and every team have off days. If you''re serious about getting him out after one bad game I expect to see you and all of those who want him out stood making that fact known on Carrow Road next Saturday. I expect there will be none!
I am not calling for the managers head after 1 bad result in 6. I have never stopped wanting him out. Unlike may I personally have never said I back the manager or that I am overly impressed with our start to the season. We are a one dimensional side with a wafer thin squad and 1 striker. I do not protest outside the ground because I don’t see that it will make much difference or help the club. I do however reserve my right to voice my opinion and don’t need you or anybody else to tell when and if I can do it. Worthingtons away record is as bad as it gets and there is no sign of improvement your one bad result doesn’t stack up in the games to points stakes. 3 away games 1 away point. Rubbish return end of. Just like last year the year before that. You said in an earlier post that you had only been going to CR since the mid 90’s well then maybe your used to this crap but I have seen more and want more and Worthington is not the man to do it. He’s had his chance time for change
 16. What''s really changed? - Nothing What should have changed? - Lots Worthy OUT
 17. got to say Eadie wouldn''t be in my top 20 if I could have 1 player it would be Fleck. Determination, passion and quality.
 18.
going to miss saturday apparently - no break but good as
says who
 19. I agree to some degree. But it is to what degree you take it to. Against Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool he will struggle to be a regular scorer but who doesn''t that’s why those teams spend £20m+ on strikers. Against team like Bolton, Charlton and just about the rest of the premiership he will get goals. He is a goal scorer we have seen that the boy knows where the back of the onion net is. As for big nev and Dixon he''ll score more than them 2 ever did. No seriously he was playing against brazil for Christ sake. He''s a good striker he''s not Henry but that why he''s playing for us. I''d say he''s as good as they get in our league and that he can do a job in the prem.
 20. I don''t think Thorne is a forgotten man. That would mean he had to have done something in the past to be remembered for. For us to then forget. The Rubbish man - Thorne
 21. Great stats but does this not emphasise even more how disappointing it is not to have obtained a target man. I don''t think goals are our midfield trio''s forte.
 22. We might have some of the best player you have seen in a yellow shirt but if that''s true for you then you have either not being going to CR very long or you need to see a Dr cos you got a memory problem. Compared to what I have seen over the years we''re shite. End of. So don''t come telling me what to think or whats wrong with me. We were once able to hold our own with the best. Now we may be playing some ok stuff compared to what we were up to last term but if you think I’m going to hang out the flags and say alls rosy in the garden you wrong. Who on here is being over negative we needed players we were promised player we got jack. So if back off. I''m not happy with the clubs return compared to my investment and I will say so. Bring on that backlash.
 23. We are all very pleased I''m sure with the excellent start to the season. A vast improvement and long may it last. We are all I''m sure equally as disappointed with the lack of transfer activity this week. What I would love to see now is the board and more importantly the management signal their belief in our chances by getting in those quality loan signs we now so badly need. To all but the most blinkered fan our lack of transfer action has dented our confidence in the clubs ambition. So what a boost the fans and team would get if the club can show us it''s ambition is as high as ours is. Getting in quality is the aim. With players from the premiership who have form. Not easy but without this much need boost we are bound to struggle. Come on City show us the dream is alive in everybody’s hearts at the club and not just us fans. OTBC
 24. I an not a worthy fan. I feel he lacks passion, ambition and intelligence, But could the same be said of the entire board. Passion has not raised its head from the board since Delia’s drunken rant in our prem season. As for ambition and intelligence they go hand in hand. We have not bought anybody except croft although at the start of the transfer window the board themselves (in the form of Doncaster) said we need 3 or 4 new faces. We leave it till the last minute to strike again only to be gazumpted and have no plan B. If Worthington couldn’t get players in with £2m in his pocket then the board should have taken things in hand. We look like a team more in crisis now than ever to me. This will be evident if we lose just 1 player to injury. If you think I’m being dramatic then you just wait and see. Earnshaw need only to pick up an injury today for Wales and we have nothing up front. To allow the club to get to this state where we have no other recognized quality strike is a disgraceful over sight by the management and the board. If Worthington was not the man to get these players in then the board should have taken it out of his hands to safeguard the clubs future. We have all enjoyed the play we have seen up till now this season. Could get a lot less enjoyable if we lose Earnshaw. Poor all round management and running of a football club. If any fan does not agree then I''d be interested in what your view really is.
