1. S A the rules do apply to reserve games. As has been pointed by the club and others on here its other clubs that have started this 2pm kick off and city are just doing what other clubs want if we want to play them in the future. The club cant say they are bowing down to other clubs demands so Carrow Rd play the cost card and tell us its for saving money so we all go along with it even though its the supporters who will suffer. Well that what I think is the greater part of it.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 2. WITS I believe it was an in balance of too much prudence on the pitch got us into the mess we are in now. Just because other clubs don''t care about their loyal supports why should city follow suit. If stopping kids watching reserve games is ditching the nice little Norwich mentality then some should hang their heads in shame.   The club wont change it decision now what ever anyone says or how many say it. If the club are really that hard up then ask the supporters for more money.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 3.

Its now about 2.40pm coming up to half time with a 2pm kick off. Look out of the window and think would the flood lights be on now? I think so don''t you.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
Hardly. Most ''junior'' leagues in Norfolk kick off at 2pm in the Winter months due to the light getting worse. I''m sure the people who made this decision would have taken this into account.
I think you will find with the safety rules that cover light for professional FOOTBALL the flood lights will be on for most games in the winter.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 4.
I seems that they have wieghed up all the costs of putting on the flood lights and getting in staff for spectators against the income received from them. As opposed to no flood lights, less staff and less spectators. Surely they have done their homework, and McNally has decided that we are better off putting them in the day time.
Its now about 2.40pm coming up to half time with a 2pm kick off. 5.

It looks as if the club wants to the reserves to have games but with no supporters there which may well be the case if no one turns up. If that''s so just tell us and play the reserve games behind closed doors. There are/were hundreds of school children at the reserve game, our supports of the future now not one will be able to see a real game of FOOTBALL but who cares, they can always turn on the TV and see Man U and support them. This is a ill-conceived, short sighted move by the new decision maker at Carrow Rd.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
You have said it yourself, football must come first but for football to come first at Norwich City, there needs to actually be a team in existance. I think people are misunderstanding our financial situation (I may be also) but going by the various quotes from Lambert and our new directors it is not good. If this saves us money great, there is nothing to say this can not be reversed if our financial fortunes change.
If the financial situation at the club is really as bad as the club says and acts with this move why doesn''t it sell the land it took out the loans for or sell its one third interest in the hotel or even ask all the supports for more money? That is of course if you believe all the decision makers tell us and if you trust them? (I have always ended my posts with FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST because FOOTBALL is the only reason we go to Carrow Rd)   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST

 7. A rant from someone who got his season ticket for the 20th season thinking he could see the reserves as well as the first time. How much has my season ticket been devalued with this move? and that''s with out any reduction for the lower V.A.T rate.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 8.
Just seen the news that reserve games will no longer be payed in the evenings. Thanks NCFC for taking this pleasure away from me and many others. I don''t recall any mention of this when renewing my season ticket and giving up my rebate to the club. Where was the consultation? You may notice on the Club''s website it says that "City are pleased to confirm a new policy covering consultation with supporters". It is quite obvious that the new policy is NO CONSULTATION. People like me have to be at work at 2.00pm in the afternoon and kids should be in school. If money is so tight, why not charge season ticket holders £3 or £4 to get in? I''d pay it. I also note on the website that the main Supporters Consultative Group (SCG) is being axed. Not before time too! I hope the replacement target-focussed supporter working groups will be more representative of and accountable to supporters. Please, please, please let''s see a set of totally fresh faces on these groups rather than the same old names and faces that were on the SCG. We need fresh ideas. We should thank those who served on the SCG but you have had your moment and now its time to say goodbye. However, it is clear that the club are paying lip service when it comes to supporter consultation. I''m sure they will want to continue with a set of ''in their pocket'' ''yes people'' as they had on the SCG. Remember their part in the Peter Cullum affair!
I totally agree Flashman. You missed the vat cut that they didn''t give us season ticket holders when all the casual ticket prices were reduced.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 9. If I could watch the game standing on a heap of rubble that was the hotel then I''d be happy.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 10. The laws covering football in England include no racist chanting or singing. The games between Rangers & Celtic are full of chanting & singing of racist and religious abuse to one another. I think the law will keep them north of the boarder.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 11. Strange really, if NCFCPLC had invested more money "on the pitch" in stead of spending loads "off the pitch" in past seasons they wouldn''t be begging us to lease a couple of blades of grass now.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 12. Yes Lambert''s done very well with the squad Gunn built and since they both signed their new contracts this season they have both only lost one game each. Gives you something to think about?   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 13.
clearly the man felt he did not have a future with the canaries . then he plays out of his skin and puts in a great performance .. keep hold of him or let him go ..? thoughts
Would I keep him? Yes with out question.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST

 15.

Credit to us for selling out our home games this season in the League Just tuned in to watch Leeds v Liverpool and the amount of plastic Leeds fans is so annoying. 38,000 sell out - where are these fans week in, week out? I hope Leeds rot in League One for ages. Their fans seem to think they belong in the premier league - I hope Liverpool give em a right stuffing tonight.
What? You mean like the 30,000+ NCFC fans that went to Cardiff, for the play-off final?
But Carrow Road isn''t empty week in week out is it, so we''re not plastic fans.
Yep, 12 years ago - so we were packed to the rafters?.....Week in and week out.....there was a lot of plastic....but not many fans sitting on it. When we were in the Prem in the 90s....You didn''t have to pre-book your ticket to get into a game against Liverpool, Arsenal, Man U or Chelsea etc....You could stroll from the pub 10 minutes before kick-off, through the turnstiles and into a seat more or less in which ever stand you fancied, no recession then?....So, what''s the big attraction now?
Yep, in the 90''s I remember being able to ring up for a ticket on a Saturday morning if I finished work early, then driving up for the game. Unlikely to happen these days. It''s because we had the magic of Andy Cullen and his marketing finesse to fill up Carrow Road with all those schemes that sometimes get moaned about on here eg kids for a quid. NCFC and getting support for the team became a marketing product (in business terms) yet it was achieved without undermining the importance of NCFC''s roots. We now have a huge fan-base, loyal and passionate about City; many travelling from outside the area with other (I won''t say bigger and better because I don''t agree that they are!) clubs being passed en route. City has developed into a club that gets under your skin the first time you visit and then you''re hooked; no turning back whatever the consequences...
Its a pity the decision maker at the club didn''t build a team to match   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 16. One or two no more but they would have to be really quality like Hucks. If we go back to last seasons where the vast majority of loaners were really no more than bench warmers I for one will be asking for my money back.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 17. Got this back from Look East   Thanks for taking the time to get in touch.   This season with the BBC being a rights holder to the football league we have changed the way we cover the weekend action on Monday nights.   We now show all of the goals involving the regions Football League clubs in our Sunday tea-time bulletin. This enables us to do a bigger feature from a particular match looking at what goes on behind the scenes on a Monday night.   This also complements all of the other coverage accross the BBC on the Football League. You can see goals on the Football League Show on a Saturday night following Match the Day. This programme is also available on a Sunday morning via the red button, and the BBC iPlayer for the next week. You can also see extended highlights of your side on the BBC website from Monday mornings.   Best regards,   The club has got to so low we cant even make the local news.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 18. Look East last night had a big piece on Colchester but didn''t even give City''s score. I e-mailed them last night asking why, still waiting for a reply, doubt if ill get one.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 19. Gunn was sacked to make room for McNally''s old mate Lambert.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST

 21. Has the board met with the fans groups yet?   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 22.
What else would need to happen?, How low would we need to go? He''s gradually accumuluting a pretty unwanted collection of "low-tide marks" on his CV, what has to happen before it finally sinks in?
The normal assessment of a team is 10 games but as we intend to go strait back up we cant mess about. If there''s not a complete turn around in the way Gunny''s team plays and we start winning well by game 5 Id have say Gunny must step aside or be moved aside. I don''t know if anyone in the coaching staff could step in? All depends on what the board could pay for someone new. Lets hope it wont come to that and we start winning like preseason in next weeks games.   FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
 23. On par with Roger Hansbury on a bad day FOOTBALL MUST COME FIRST
