1.
Oh dear oh dear oh dear OPP. Lesson number one on here : never never never even suggest a hint of criticism of any old lag on this MB. City Angel, Potless Percy and the two others have a combined total of almost 19000 posts. They all stand together, shoulder to shoulder. Lesson number two : you can start an interesting new thread on here (not this one though !) and get some response then later one of the old lags will start a thread on the same subject and the lifers will all rally around and respond amongst themselves. You have alot to learn young man !
Blimey now 1st Wizard has piled in on you with his 9K plus posts. What did I say !!

 3. I predict a winning run starting this weekend. Back to back home wins and then back to back away wins against the mighty QPR and Blackpool. Followed by a home win against a demoralised Cardiff following their FA cup humiliation by the fabulous Arsenal youth (commentator''s words not mine). Those 15 points will set us up nicely to coast until the end of the seaosn and achieve mid table security. I hope that puts your mind at rest. Next patient please.

I''d just like to add that I read the Cromer Crab-Line and particularly enjoyed the article in the current issue about St Margarets Church Thorpe Market and the "not quite retirement" of Margaret Hunter. However there''s not much of a sports section and I doubt they would be able to shed much light on whether Tiny had apologised to Eduardo. But I thought I''d check in the Daily Mirror and they had this to say at the time[:^)] http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport-old/football/2008/03/26/arsenal-striker-eduardo-s-amazing-offer-to-player-who-crippled-him-115875-20363261/ http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport-old/football/2008/03/27/martin-taylor-i-did-try-to-say-sorry-to-eduardo-115875-20364168/ However, I much prefer the Crab-Line and occasionally the Big Issue. Can we really stereotype people by what paper they read? Of course, you can''t stereotype people by what paper they read but that wasn''t my point but perhaps you are starting a new topic. Your post above seems to suggest that you are someone who is slightly smug and self-satisfied and you also think you are amusing which, no doubt, from time to time you are.
Well allllriiiiighhht... But I wasn''t taking on anyone. I tried to shed some light on whether Tiny had said sorry and just wondered if we really can stereotype people by their choice of newspaper. Maybe Crab-Liners are smug and Big Issueists are self-satisfied? What paper do you read my friend?
Of course Tiny apologised, the Daily Mail said he did, so he must have done. I don''t think the Times covered the apology because Tiny is a football player not a rugger man. I have only read the Times since it became a tabloid so I don''t read it at weekends because it is too big and voluminous and I only have small arms.

So I wouldn''t believe either of them personally!
Ha ha, another stereotypical Daily Mail knocker.
Ha ha, another stereotypical Dail Mail reader.
Actually, not. Funnily enough, I read the Times but it always makes me laugh how so many people jump on the "let''s knock the Dail Mail" bandwagon. A bit sheeplike if you ask me, but then of course you didn''t.
I Think, ''Al Guido'', arguing over a Newspaper is slightly..yeah.
Nope, not arguing. Just making a point in response. I''m sorry if that causes you a problem.

 10.
I think it will be between us, Barnsley, Plymouth and Watford as to who goes down with Charlton and Southampton and I think we will scrape home by the skin of our teeth and end up 4th bottom. Much too close to call though and there is no doubt we have a very real chance of going down. Main reason is that the meag4fer funds we have had have been wasted by Roeder in bringing in too many poor loan players. On top of that is his poor decision making and totally crap man management skills. Appointing Gunn is a huge risk and may or may not work, which makes it the wrong decision for me. Now is not the time to risk inexperence but we have what we have and the whole club must pull together to have even that small chance.
Hear what you say about the Gunn appointment (which I wholeheartedly support) but, realistically, what other better, workable and immediately available options were available ?
 11. As we all know, Lita turned down a move to Sheff Utd. We clearly need a proven striker to start scoring goals and winning games for us and the re-introduction of Lita would give us that boost just at a time when we need one. I assume that the rules would allow Lita to come back to us on loan until the end of the season. He would benefit from playing games, scoring goals and raising his profile and therefore his value ready for the summer when his contract at Reading expires. Equally, Reading would benefit from Lita scoring goals for us in remaining games that we have against their promotion rivals such as Birmingham, Cardiff, Swansea and Burnley.
 12. Down for me unfortunately. We have been an unlucky team all season although Roeder''s decisions/tactics made our situation even worse. I can''t see us suddenly getting lucky now.
 13.

Down, and I blame the Board for appointing Gunn, and him for accepting it! I still support him though......whats the alternative?
One dimensional as ever Wiz.
Yeah, but what a dimension![:D]
Fair play, good riposte, gotta laugh.

 15.
Wife buys a pair of crotchless knickers to try and spice up their sex life. She puts them on, and wearing a very short skirt, sits on the settee opposite her husband and opens her legs. Husband says to her ''''Are you wearing crotchless knickers ?'''' ''''Yes '''' she says. ''''Thank god for that '''' he says, ''''I thought for a moment the stuffing was coming out of the settee !''''   Now that''s a joke............. ok will get my coat [:$][:D]
Good one, I burst out laughing when I read the punchline.
 16. In fact, we had Stefanovic sent off and a penalty awarded for a foul committed outside the area, their goalkeeper made some outstanding saves and, as with so many games this season, we should have won. Luck was against us again.
 17.
Message to Mr Gunn. Could you please ensure that Mr Fotheringham is gagged for the rest of the season. We have had more than enough of these empty platitudes by the players in the press. Action rather than words in the future, please.
Couldn''t agree more, these vacuous, impotent rallying calls week in week out never make any difference and simply get on most peoples'' nerves, mine included. I am not interested in what they say, it''s what they do and actually achieve on this pitch that''s important...... especially now and over the coming weeks.
 18. Another cup of tea anyone ? Nice soft doughnut Wiz ? Anybody want to go to the toilet ? Blimey, it''s like the Darby and Joan club on here.
 19.
The whole season starts now thing could be valid in September or even October - but to suggest our season starts now, a whole 6 months after it started and 2 months before it ends borders on bloody ridiculous!!
Well, I clearly understand what he means even if you don''t.
 20. You mean Doh(!)erty of course. He''s a bit like Marshall, capable of great blocks (or saves) but equally prone to calamitous errors. And, you''re right, he has no pace, can''t turn quickly, is very clumsy and has a frightening propensity to bear hug defenders in the penalty area from set pieces. Like most fans, I admire his commitment and his personality, I like him as a person, but I can''t help thinking that he is just too much of a liability. But then the problems quite simply is what choice do we have ? Without him we have no height or strength in defence. I was interested in your observations about Clingan and the performance of the team in the 2nd half because I think they are equally relevant to the way we performed the last time we were reduced to ten men in the first half of a match, Doh(!)erty being sent off at Forest.
 21. Yes, but the issue will be whether the travelling conditions for the fans tomorrow will be too severe.
 22.
No real reason why our game should be called off. Bristol City set of yesterday and have probably already arrived, we have undersoil heating to clear any snow that may fall and having been to Molineux mid week the areas leading up to Carrow Rd. should be fine if Wolves were allowed to go ahead with slopes that we covered in ice...
The point that Jim Smith was making was that BC can request a postponement if they can demonstrate severe difficulties for their fans travelling to Norfolk bearing in mind that they will have bought and paid for tickets. It is clear that they are already able to demonstrate that travelling tomorrow for the fans will be a major problem and potentially dangerous and Jim Smith''s point was that apparently BC can request Norwich to postpone and given the momentum we have we should turn down any such request if it is in our power to do so.
 23. Championship: Barnsley v Crystal Palace, Charlton v Cardiff League One: Bristol Rovers v Huddersfield, Hereford v Brighton Bristol has had heavy snow and the M5 was closed this morning. Therefore, as an earlier poster (Jim Smith I think) said, the danger is that Bristol City will ask the FA for a postponement. They will realise that we have momentum and it must be in their interests to go for the postponement.
 24.

His appearance in the starting eleven at the Southampton away game was the most suspicious selection I’ve seen in years. Hadn’t featured in ages, mainly an unused sub, then suddenly as if by a miracle of football management he gets a game at…..wait for it…… AT THE NEAREST GROUND TO PORTSMOUTH !!! I’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions as to why this happened.
Yes!   Another example of Roeders complete ineptness and blind obsession with Premiership reserve no marks that were recommended to him by his supposed good contacts!   I bet Roeder had never seen him play before!   I saw nearly all of Koromas games for us and all he was, was a headless chicken who could run but do nothing with the ball. Histons Danny Wright who comes from Attleborough would of done better!   Tragic for the club that we had to endure Roeder and that Hucks a guy who''d of been more productive than Koroma, Eagle, Henville, Sibierski put together was pi*sing about in a freindly game at Yarmouth last night when he should still be a Norwich player!
Can''t argue with that. Appositely put, if I may say !
