1.
1. Just Ignore them, theyll soon get bored and piss off 2. If the roles were reversed would you be taking the piss out of them? probably 3. every dog has its day, just a matter off time before keane loses his marbles and storms out of ipswich after wasting millions and having them in their usual mid-table position
Wish you would bugger off too.
 2.

A statue of Marcus Evans isn''t going to be so easy is it!
It''s Evans''s money we want and are getting, not an embarassing celebrity promoting herself.
Are you sure its his money you are getting and not more debt so you can shaft the man again in 5 years.  Good luck with Mr £90m by the way...
 3.
Russell has been nothing short of awful this season but I wouldn''t have him in my top 3 reasons as to why we were relegated. Aside for the Boards failure to prevent this from happening over the last 4 years, I would say it''s down to: 1.Roeder 2.Gunn 3. The loan system.
And you dont the 11 passion less half wits who crossed the white line every saturday dont deserve some of the brunt. How can you seriously blame Gunn.  ''Right Gunny, you have 15 bags of poo to choose from, pick your best 11 eleven please''  Its always gonna get the same result isnt it.
 4. I agree that the midfield isn''t right, losing Safri probably unsettled us a bit.  But then he didnt exactly set the world alight at Southampton. Tommy Miller would be a decent option for me on a free.  We might be an appealing option as well.  Him alongside the combatitive Mickey Spillane could be a decent partnership.
 5. Agree that releasing Malky Mackay was a mistake. But it goes like this for me, not buying Ashton earlier, not forcing Dean Ashton to stay post relegation.  The fans turning on Damian Francis because his agent had a big gob, not having the balls to gamble with the first 7m parachute payment, buying Robert Earnshaw. But, controversially....I think the biggest mistake was sacking Nigel Worthington.  I maintain that the rot would have been stopped and the rebuild well and truly started.  I think Worthy was a good player of the prudent approach that our board favour and new how to play that particular game.
 6.

I think it was the year we got promoted, N. Worthington started to dismantle a winning team, by letting the likes of Iwan, Malky go, as these were two big players for the club, big leaders in the changing room, now i know they would not have played every game, but how many newly promoted teams gets rid of two not one influential players and not replacing them when they have just been promoted! These two would have been worth their weight in gold if they had been kept on, and would still had a part to play in the premier league, May have been the difference in staying up!! Dean Ashton should have been signed at the start of the season! The club has also now missed out on a decade of fans by not expanding the ground!
letting iwan and malky go was a massive decision and the wrong one agreed! but expanding the ground?? with what money?? were £18 in debt!!
We had to expand the ground, our South Stand had been condemned.
 7. I take it by happy clappers you are referring to the people who dont agree with your views about the club.  I have been called a happy clapper in the last week or so and I have been going since 1985.
 8.
I don''t relish years of watching League One football either - show me anyone who does! That''s why I won''t take the rebate. Whoever ''owns'' this Club is going to need money to get us out of it and for me withholding the 20% whilst still wanting my team to have the best chance of bouncing back simply doesn''t make sense. But that''s the choice we have. And it is a choice. As an aside I''d be interested to know if anyone REALLY bought their Season Ticket for 09/10 purely on the basis that there was a rebate available?
They could quite easily upgrade peoples tickets to include cup games if they forego the rebate.  Its a fair gamble on both sides then isnt it.... Still think the debt could be renegotiated personally to free up a bit of capital.  I reckon about £2,000,000 well spent could give us a fighting chance.
 9.
Cureton, he''ll be awsome in League 1![Y]
I agree with that.  Will he be able to cope with the physical aspect of it down there though, especially as he hasnt got his pace to fall back on.  Needs a decent pre-seaon to get his confidence back on track.
 10. Ian Harte, Jay De Merit, Liam Miller and Giles Coke come on down. Cant believe the poster who said none of them would come here.  I am sorry mate but for a league one side we are a tasty proposition.  Prem quality facilities, a really nice stadium, teh opportunity to play in front of +20K and Norwich is a great place to live.
 11.
Well he was our player of the seasonso i for one think it will be a big loss.
In all honesty I think he was shiniest turd in a sea shizzle.  Pick of a bad bunch, plus it should have been Clingan...
 12. I am going for Gary Docherty.  Decent centre half, under rated a bit.  Will do a job in league 1. Hoolahan and Clingan are the other two.  These are the sort of players you build a squad around.  Clingan is premier quality though IMO and deserves to play there.  He can go with my blessing and the best of luck from me.  David Marshall and Lee Croft can rot for all I care.
 13. Going to flip OT for a second.  Did anyone watch?  Azerbaijan was absolutely gorgeous, truly a stunning girl.....Romania wasnt exactly a minger either LOL!!
 14.
No matter what we say or do, Gunn will remain as manager so we might as well get used to it. We should also get behind him 100% and give him a chance in league one. If he can find more lower league players with the heart and committment of Cody Mcdonald then we may be in with a shout.
Are you 2 club employees sent to raise the feel good factor on the site?
 15. Not the first to jump of the sinking ship, probably wont be the last. Is it really that big a blow though.  Probably one of the higher earners at the club, can count his truly memorable performances on 1 hand.
 16.

I think Gunn did a half decent job given the appalling hand he was dealt.  And I also think he will do an OK job for us as manager.  My concern is that I dont want someone to do an OK job.  I want an experienced manager who will do a great job.  Our best chance to rectify this slide is to do it right away..... What do you reckon to that Wiz.  That is a real opinion, not one I am going to change in 5 minutes time!!!
Firstly Carlos, this is an old thread brought back by Mr Chops in an attempt to score points off me, fortunatly, I have a thick hide. I tried to back Gunn in January, but 19 games and a relegation later, I sadly realise, I was wrong on that backing of a fool of a manager. If you, or anyone else think that to retain my credibility I must still back him.......think again! My last words on this old thread are thus: My opinions on Smith............no change. On the board............................no change. On certain City players..........no change
Change of opinion is fair enough.  Its the insults that I dont like.  Although I must admit he does bear an uncanny resemblence to Uncle Fester!!!!! LOL

 18.
but he didnt score in 8 games at this level last season!!!
Well he must be crap then!! Yes please from me.  Very quick....
 19.

And why not? He''s transformed the atmosphere around the club, an atmosphere that makes City unique amongst clubs. If we''re relegated, my gaze would be directed at Smith, the board and Roeder. Bryan is just trying to repair their damage...........and it might take some time to fix!
I will back him until he proves he doesn''t deserve my backing, just as every manager at NCFC.
He lost five of our last six must win games of the season, ending in another collapse against already relegated bottom of the league Charlton. We were relegated. I think Mr Gunn had his chance and blew it astronomically. But go ahead and back crap if you want to. Im sure you wont be alone. [8-)]
NO, the team lost 5 of the last 6 must win games of the season.  Bryan Gunn was asked to turn water into wine when he took over, and all he was given was a bucket of p*ss. When for god sake are the crap, under performing footballers going to get a taste of the bile thats spouted on here.  We were relegated because the players didnt turn up at 40 of the 46 games last season. We cant blame Gunn for relegation.
 20. I agree.  It would be nice to get some out of the box journalism for a change.  Perhaps the risk of upsetting the powers that be is too much of a gamble for a regional paper.  Surely someone can get the ''inside scoop''.
 21. Just until the loop holes are re-written......
 22. Yet another prime example of someone who doesnt actually have an opinion.  Mr Nice, Mr Gloom, Mr Controversial.  Nice bump, shows up the real fans from the fools who populate this message board.
 23. I would take Duberry, Murty and Hanheman.  We can give young Rudd the FA Cup, League Cup and Johnstones Paint games plus the occasional to blood the boy.  Trouble is the 3 from Reading are all Champ class at least.  These boys will be snapped up like a shot.  My prediction now is watch the wheels fall off at Reading like it has us.  Losing Coppell and being in the last year of parachutes will kill them, they will slide like we have.  In all honesty I hope they do then perhaps a few on here will sit up and actually notice the precarious financial nature of the game today.  But this is an interesting post because we are going to have no option but to fill our team with journeymen freebies.  Who else has been released, how much money will we realistically have to spend, how much do we realistically need?
 24. Harry has openly said in interviews that he phones his son for opinions and advice.  Gunny will be ok though, I reckon he will do a half tidy job with a smallish squad of our own players.
 25.
I''ve finally calmed down. I now realise that no amount of meetings and protests will change things now, Gunn, as much as it pains me to say it, is our manager. I don''t expect him to last too long (nor do the board judging by the short contract he''s been given!) but for the sake of a united front, whilst still holding on to my beliefs, I shall now refrain from the Gunn bashing on here, even though I think its justifiable tonight. I watch with some concern as to our future signings, and who knows, as doubtful as I am, a miracle might happen..........let us all pray so.
Heres hoping he is a great success and here for years to come.  Successful clubs are built on stability (most of the time), constantly chopping and changing is doing us no favours.
