According to the Telegraph - Rowett and Warbuton also mentioned. Please not Woy ....

Kingsley will be loan till end of the season , so paving the way for Toffolo to be number one choice
-
Stephen Kingsley coming as part of Olsson according to rumours in South Wales. Not sure if loan or permanent but deal close
-
Worth looking at a cash plus Sako deal with PalCe. Impressive winger who can definitely perform at champ level and would give us a different option
With 8 defeats in 10, we need to focus on here and now, we need to buy in better than we have.
Agree that we need two experienced centre backs perhaps Ambrose at Celtic ? Not sure about Olsson at West Brom but Craig Dawson may be used as part of the Klose deal?
-
It would have to be Ricky Martins fine European scouting credentials to find a gem of a centre half or two in the loser echelons of French, Dutch leagues etc . Hope of this happening is about as much as Neil being sacked by end of Jan
-
I know what was I thinking - let''s go 2-6-2 ! Very worrying times as looks like Klose will be moved on, clearly not a unified dressing room at the minute with big earners on the fringes who will simply not be quiet on the sidelines
-
In light of Moxeys comments, the board clearly feel the issue is more complex than getting rid of AN, which I am struggling to fathom. Yet it would seem that the big earners of Klose Etc will move on. Our defensive frailties are there for all to see. But who is realisitcally available as genuine defensive targets ? Struggling to see anyone in lower leagues worth a punt or prem league fringe defenders looking for a loan
-
Agree that Neil has got to go - Klose and other of the ''on paper'' better signings are simply not performing under Neil and there is a real soft underbelly with our shape and defensive play under him. Teams know how to play us - no coincidence that Reading hanged their tactics to hit long quick balls into channels. Shins Bennett and bassong due to their lack of pace and ability to cope under pressure. They have become worse defenders and Neil has to take blame for this as it''s evident him and his coaching team have a lack of defensive nous.

Moxey saying problem much deeper than Alex Neil - correct the entire board needs to be cleared out. They clearly believe the squad needs to be replenished by moving on some of the big earners and clearly those players who Neil has fallen out with - Klose Lafferty etc . Should seriously look to move bassong on as well as he is absolute garbage , the most uncomfortable footballer to watch when given the ball, poor composure, sheer panic and often puts us in danger out of a bit of pressure from opposition forward line.
-
Could the reason be why he hasn't been sacked
Tommo replied to The Unsullied 's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I personally feel that Alex Neil and the board believe that not achieving promotion will perversely benefit NCFC by clearing the decks of longstanding high earners and a reboot of the defensive options. Unfortunately I think they believe we need to evolve again - promotion would be a bonus but now highly unlijely. Expect Klose, Brady, Naismith to depart in a January.- 39 replies

Daily star now reporting Roy Hodgson in line for the job is aneil gets the sack http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/565501/Roy-Hodgson-Norwich-England-Alex-Neil

2 Unlimited - no limit song would work rather well, albeit a bit tarnished since Joe Harts head and shoulders no dandruff advert .....

Some quality strikes on this video demonstrating he is a two footed finish with pace to run channels and harass opposition defence but also has that technical ability Neil is talking about. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LGbUMQ179SA Like Neil has said on paper he has the attributes at his age to really succeed but perhaps needs that consistent run of games. with the attacking creativity we have, I think this could be a shrewd bit of business. Lots of strikers being linked Valencia Rhodes Okaka etc and imagine we will get another but perhaps a loan deal.
-
No rumour to report but Pretty sure we were regularly linked to this guy last season. With Berahino likely to join Stoke he will be further down the pecking order. Would like to see him join us as I believe he would be a good champ striker and cheaper option than McCormack etc
-
Noticed he''s on trial with us following release from Watford. Anyone seen him play ? Surely one for the future at 21 rather than first team? http://readnorwich.com/2016/07/16/ikpeazu-on-trial-at-norwich/
-
Would be a good addition but seemingly bound for prem league with hull or Swansea . Would like to see Anichebe on a free but looks like he is off to Midlands club - Derby Birmingham or wolves
-
Very happy to see this rumour as its a player on my list of realistic targets - seen a few of his performances for Bolton - very lively and a good finisher by all accounts. Still young and hungry to prove himself. If we even pay £3m it''s a good long term investment in a promising England player
Artistic licence from Tommo or did McNally really say Hughton had got more points than Lambert when he clearly hadn''t?
Apologies it was finished higher league position - whilst McNally had the initial impact with lambert era and helped stabilise club financially it really was time to part with him. I agree no player is bigger than a club but Holty did not act unreasonably and throw his toys out of the pram for nothing - mcnallys conduct through the transfer request saga etc was poor and it pretty much left him with no other choice but to hand the request in. In his shoes I would have done exactly the same
-
Agree he will make an excellent manager with true man management motivational skills. McNally is a first class clown - when Holty wanted to discuss new contract (and to be fair after everything he had done he had earned the right ) McNally had said that he had an important board meeting so couldn''t meet with him. It turned out the pillock was at Lords watching the cricket - totally disrespectful. When it broke on sky sports he had handed in a transfer request he was incredibly abusive on the phone and said he would get rid of him. Changed his mind but then made him wait for weeks for new contract despite promising it straight away. Also appears that McNally was mostly ok the booze as well and rarely sober ! Good riddance to McNally I have well and truly concluded
-
Very interesting as well that he almost never signed for us and lambert was interested in him at Colchester ! Gunn had told him board were too concerned about this ankle injury recurring problems to which Holty then spoke to delia and she ultimately made the call to complete the deal
-
Yeah he''s definitely up for coaching and even management one day but has ambitions to play for at least one more year. He could be a cracking option off the bench.
-
Essentially he absolutely hated the managerial style of hughton and his tactics which had undone all the years of the attacking style under lambert and the hunger and desire amongst the lads. He went to see McNally at end of season and asked whether hughton would remain in charge. He of course said yes and that he had got more points than lambert. He then told Holty that he isn''t bigger than the club and that he will immediately sell him and very shortly afterwards went to Wigan. Also shocking how he was treated before and during the transfer request- McNally was a nasty piece of work by all accounts . Holty was told by McNally before any other player and Bryan Gunn himself that Gunn was getting sacked. Unbelievable.
-
Cracking evening with Holty last night and great to finally hear the truth behind him and McNally with the transfer request and the eventual departure from ncfc. Looks in great shape and still got cracking banter really need that kind of character to galvanise the club and get that hunger and winning mentality back for the new campaign.
