After reading Gunny''s comments about being worried of keeping hold of Hoolahan, if we were to get rid of him (which unfortunately seems a good possibilty) how big a fee do you think he would command? Unless he''s got a stupidly low contract release fee I think anything under a million would be an insult. Can''t think of many players we could replace him with either. For god''s sake lets hope we don''t sell him on August 31st with no time to replace him!

Read in todays EDP that although Munby has stepped down as chairman, he''s still a director! Whats the point in that? We need new ideas, not the same old way of thinking that has culminated in the worst period in our history. Same old Norwich, same old spin!

I''d like to see us get an experienced keeper, have Nelson as no.2 and send Rudd off onload for the season so he''d be ready to take over the No1 in 2010.

Lets get him off the wage bill. We need an experienced RB and we''d have Spillane and Smith as back-up. Hopefully won''t see that waste of space scouser in a city shirt again.

I''m just hoping this appointment doesn''t put off any potential investors.

While not being particularly happy with this afternoons news I am ready to back the management team and get behind the boys in the yellow and green next season. The time now, however, is for actions and results, and not talking. Peter Grant talked a good game and got us to the bottom of the league. You obviously were desperate to get the job, now you have it so don''t fu*k it up by being too cautious. As far as I''m concerned, and every City fan should be, anything other than a top-two finish in League One will be a failure. With 20,000 roaring us on every other week next season, some talented youngsters and hopefully a few hard-working ''leader'' type players that we have been missing for some time we have a real chance of coming straight back up. Lets go for it!!!

I think the board would be tempted by bringing in Robins.....he''d probably keep Butterworth and Crook on so there wouldnt be a massive upheaval on the staff side.

Sounds about as clueless and up himself as the current board of directors we have.

Everyone seems to be complaining that Hucks didn''t get a proper send-off, but it was pretty obvious that the game against QPR was his last at Carrow Road so why everyone made a huge fuss over Dublin I don''t know. Dublin, was only here for 2 seasons, hardly makes legendary status, unlike a certain Mr Huckerby.
