1.
Dunno. Why ask? Are you gonna take a ball down there, and ask to join in??
I wouldnt want show any of them up and cause a further loss in confidence. I have a day off tomorrow and was thinking of taking my little boy, weather permitting. I was gonna get there for about 10 but didnt want to be sitting around waiting for them to stroll in at 11.
2. Does anyone know what time the players start training each morning?
3. I predict the score will be 0-0. Cant score if you dont play. Do I win ?
4.
http://www.premiershiplatest.com/news/fulham-fc-linked-with-west-ham-united-s--55763.html   This makes me laugh.
He''s playing in the premiership instead of a championship relegation battle......hmmmmm yeah I reckon he is well gutted.
5. Team for tomorrow ?      Marshall Colin Shax DD Drury Crofty Saf  Etuhuhuh Hux   Brown Martin
6. I hope you''re right but I fear I''ll just be let down again tomorrow at 4.45. If Doherty had come out and said anything I just wouldnt have turned the TV on tomorrow.
7.
Well they ain''t looking very hard when Souness has £20 million plus to spend are they? We should be beating down his door with a $. hitty stick begging for him to put a bid in for a majority shareholding here!!! Sorry but I don''t believe that the board are welcoming offers from potential investors for one moment!!!
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Post something else rather then continued abuse at Delia. She clearly cant win in your eyes. What would be the advantage of Souness in charge? Why dont you give us all some constructive reasons and maybe we''ll take you more serious.
8. CELTIC keeper David Marshall flew in for talks with Norwich City last night - as Gordon Strachan lined up Wigan veteran John Filan as his shock replacement. Marshall was given the go-ahead to join Peter Grant''s side on loan yesterday. Strachan is now trying to snap up an experienced reserve to cover for Artur Boruc for the rest of the season. Australian Filan, who has lost his Latics place to Chris Kirkland, was at Coventry with Strachan and would be keen for a crack at the SPL and Europe - if Wigan chief Paul Jewell gives the green light.
9. Is this some sort of wind up post????Where do you start.......Well I was at the game and the first person to congratulate Safri was Grant and then all the other players joined in, he''s hardly going to jump in the middle of them and hand out hugs and kisses, we were playing badly and only 1-0 up at home to plymouth. On the other hand.....Are you saying that if Grant had jumped in the middle of the players and handed out hugs and congratulations the players wouldnt have come out for the 2nd half and get totally pi**ed on by Plymouth...Pur-lease. If you believe that then this managment game is well easy, you just hug all the players when you score and you''ll go on and win, sssssssshhhh  everyone, dont tell the others cos they''ll all be doing it next weekend.Grant was probably telling one of the defenders to keep it tight for a few mins as we''d just snatched a goal dead on 45mins and he really doesnt want the players to lose concentration in the next 2 mins and give a goal away at the worst possible time........SHAME ON YOU GRANT!!!!!!
10.
I doubt he would have made an immediate impact, but over time he may have done well, he does have a pretty good track record.
Yes he does, but theres nothing to say that Grant wont be a success when he has his own players playing the way he wants. This whole Grant Out thing is childish and not very well thought out, just people throwing their toys out. Especially the person who actually has gone to the trouble to get an Avator with Grant Out and at the end of every post puts ''GRANT OUT''.
11. Ok, its bad at the moment we can all see that. What I dont understand is why are some people still saying this is Grants fault or the boards fault for appointing him. A caller on Canary Call on saturday said we should have got Alan Curbishley. Now my question to that person or anyone else who thinks like this is - What could Alan Curbishley or someone else do any different or better then what Peter Grant has done so far with this current group of players? (Bear in mind that Alan Curbishley has just walked into a club who are in a very similar state to us. They cant defend, poor attitude from players and have very low confidence. Has Curbs walked in there since Pardew left and sorted all of those problems out, NO i would say. He had 1 good win in his 1st game against Man U but so did Grant against B''ham, since then its been all down hill. The only way Alan Curbishley sees himself resolving this is by spending millions of pounds on other players, would he have had that option here?. So wrapping my point up, why would Alan Curbishley have done a better job then the current man) Answers on a postcard..............
12. I''d dispute the fact that he is a pro footballer and should be able to play in any circumstances. He is a young kid with zero experience of playing under such immense pressure.
13. Well Chunk, He was  picked as a sub proably with the intention of briging him on but Grant probably didnt expect us to be 3-1 down and the crowd singing what a load of rubbish (before the final whistle). So yes, he was good enough for the bench but I still dont think he should have been brought on and been  part of the '' what a load of rubbish'' chant. I dread to think what Chris Brown was thinking when he was coming on. You blood kids when you are winning!!!! Its a very simple rule to understand.
14. Some people around me were moaning about not bringing him on but I think Grant did the right thing in not. Its hardly the sort of atmosphere you want to blood a kid in, is it????
15. He deserves the same welcome that Huckerby/Earnshaw or any previous new signings have got. Would you expect anything different? I dont seem to remember the CR crowd giving any new signings anything other then a BIG HELLO AND WELCOME
16. Lets be honest though......how many sunderland players have done anything good for the last 2 years? Why cant people on here seem to get into their heads that you cant always sign quality players who you know will perform, sometimes you have to sign players and then turn them into great players. This guy has time on his side, he wont have many bad boys around him as we dont have many of them in the squad so hopefully if he signs he''ll see it as a fresh start and do the business for us. How do you think Preston fans reacted when they bought some guy called David Nugent from Bury or Reading fans when they signed Kevin Doyle from some irish team or Southend when they bought Freddy Eastwood from Grays Athletic. We cant always go out buy well known players that everyone agrees are quality. Too many fans on here seem to think that because we''ve signed crap players before (Thorne/Hughes/Robbo/MLJ)  all of a sudden every new player who isnt that well known is automatically classed as s**t in their eyes.Give the guy and any other new signings a chance and give PG a chance aswell.
17. I think you''ll find that most of those games were as a sub. Plus he doesnt need to score 20+ goals a season for us as we already have someone to do that. He is 6ft + and is an ideal partner for Earny. Look at it this way, when Dublin isnt fit or has to play CB or gets brought off who would you like to replace him as earnys target man....Peter Thorne or Chris Brown (Even if you havent seen Brown play, I think we all will have the same answer). Another plus, if Grant was allowed to talk to pearson we must have matched the 750k that Derby are paying so clearly we have funds, for everyone who is convinved we had nothing to spend. I think a goalie on loan is good business. A cheapish target man (hopefully brown) and 500k-1m on a creative midfielder should do for us, oh and maybe a LB on loan ( BUT no Paddy Boyle, please!!!!!)
18. Its a shame we couldnt get him, how often do you see our central midfielders doing this ----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77vPdc5hDTE
19. MOM for me yesterday was Mr Carrow. That guy gets everywhere!!! He''s smart aswell, he had to sense to leave early...not once but twice!!!!
20.
I love the way how the stand-in guy on Norfolk this week (who also has a bloody annoying stutter!) commented that "Mark Crossley had got another last minute goal" - and didn''t sound surprised in the slightest, so clearly just thought it was an outfield player!
Im glad i wasnt the only one who got annoyed by that mans constant stutter. Was really annoying me. I feel sorry for Earnie. Scores goals for fun but we still dont win. I would have taken a point before the game but seeing how the game unfolded a point really hurts.
21. 1 - I agree2 - I hope you never become norwich manager.....what kinda team is that? Wheres the LB who has played for the last 3-4 years? Why is Hughes at LB/RB? He hd a good game against a struggling leicester team but i wouldnt want him playing there week in and week out. Why is eagle and hucks playing when they both prefer playing LW. 3 - I think his shouting helps the players so they stay focused for the game and dont start day dreaming and wandering across the pitch to areas they shouldnt be.4 - Im sure he does but he prefers standing. We never want worthy back and if you do then more fool you.  He deserves longer then 6 weeks before he gets grief from us lot. If not we''ll end up with 6 managers in 1 year or something silly like that. Thanks for your attention.
22. For me, I would keep Dublin in for Sunderland. He was MOM against them a few weeks back so seems crazy not to play him against them this time. My Team would be Camp Colin  Shax  DD  Drury Hughes  Etuhu Saf   Hucks       Thorne   Earnie If Drury doesnt make it then hughes at LB and Robbo RW.  I would prefer to rest Robbo for this game as we will need him for the Sheff Wed game as Saf wont be available. Need to give players a rest at any oppurtunity at this stage of the season. Might aswell play Saf as he will have next weeks game as a rest.
23. TBH I found it quite refreshing that he was willing to say exactly what was on his mind. Too many people (yourself included im sure) thought that he was appointed because he was a ''yes delia'' man but would a ''yes'' man have come out and said all those things?......he clearly is frightened to say something that might upset Delia so for me I took the advise from PG on the chin and gave my vocal support that my team wanted. This is me drawing a line under the whole thing................just let it go man. _____________________________________________________________
24. In wake of Grants comments, I think we should all get behind the lads for the whole 90 mins and make the place the cauldron of noise he demands. If we do this and Norwich play well and win then he clearly has a point. However, if we sing for the 90 mins and cheer the players etc etc and they play like saturday then it will be interesting to hear what PG thinks then. He clearly has to place the blame somewhere else (the players) and take back the comments from saturday. I personally think he has a point. Carl Robinson was so afraid to hit that ball long in the final minute incase he got the moans from the usual lot who have it in for him, if we get behind them all and show them that they are allowed to make mistakes on the pitch as long as they continue to work hard and show commitment. We dont all expect perfect passes 100% of the time, sometimes you have to try the long specultive pass to open up teams but the players need to be shown by us that we wont slate them for trying. Just a thought.....................
25. Have to disagree with the Eagle sub. Thought he had a poor game, too light in the tackle, couldnt get past their RB and some poor crosses. BUT im not having a go at him as he is still young and needs more games to give him confidence to do all these things but i thought he was the most likely to get brought off.
