1. I''m still very unhappy with Mckenzie, he is not a premiership player and i doubt he is a championship player, given 2 chances last night that most strikers in the same catergory as Mckenzie would have taken. How many times do we see him miss sitters, in his years at Norwich I doubt he''s scored 12 goals, but everybody seems to love him because he works hard. I''ve heard he comes from a family of boxers and to be honest i think he''d look more at home in a ring. I dont expect Mckenzie to be able to fill Ashtons boots because lets face it he isn''t half the player Ashton is, it just showed how much we''d miss Ashton because of how poorly we played without him. So I''m prepared for criticism of these opinions, from what I''ve heard on the terraces, lots of people think he''s gods gift, but I''m not happy with him. enough is enough. Bring on January.
2. I''ve heard he''s off to pompey speaking of pompey, just ended Olisadebe''s trial, sign him up?
3. Best player Ive ever seen in yellow and green Apart from eric cantona in Man Us old away kit please dont sell him
4. I cant believe people would turn down the top scorer for £500,000 because we''ve got mckenzie
5.

dont get me wong, i dont want this as our starting 11, but a lot of these players are just as good as what we''ve got. Eg. Ashton and doyle up front wouldve been immense. Johnsnis better than Robinson etc.
And before this season started I saw no posts on Doyle! I suggest he is a vey good find and a risk that worked out. IMO if Worthy had risked this he  and the board would have been slaughtered as lacking ambition. .
I dont see a risk, its a very young and talented player, and even if he had been a flop, he was cheap and i doubt his wages are high, and I''m sure you didnt hear anything on the messageboard about him, but i also doubt that anyone on the message board has a team of scouts working for them
6. I think that we could make the playy offs if we show some consistency. Its all you need in this league. The only worrying thing is should we make it to the playoffs, any World cup recruits would be off. Greens probably the only one, and Fowler after we sign him in january and he scores 40 goals in the second half of the season.
7. Sorry to steal the idea trainers. So is it the 6-0 at Fulham, Delia''s outburst- which no doubt made us all cringe. Sheffield Wednesday at home was a new low for me, I dont think I''ve ever seen us underperform that much. Any more ideas
8.
Marlon King is an average player. Did nothing at Forest (who must be laughing at getting 500k), and has done well at Watford because he fits into there system well. I''d have been gutted if we paid 500k for him. Been inside as well. Great for the club image :-) Paul Rankin has taken over Wiz as the most anti-Norwich poster on this message board of late. All of his comments are against the club, manager and players.
Been inside as well, whats that got to do with anything, if Jonathan Woodgate wanted a move to Norwich you wouldnt say, erm... no thanks, would you? shocking.
9. Transfer request at Villa, any opinions?, theres bound to be some speculation.
10. dont get me wong, i dont want this as our starting 11, but a lot of these players are just as good as what we''ve got. Eg. Ashton and doyle up front wouldve been immense. Johnsnis better than Robinson etc.
11. I''d like to see deano given the armband, i know its not easy to lead from the front but he has all of the Shearer type qualities needed to be a good captain and is clearly well respected by the rest of the squad, even so, we dont know what goes on behind the scenes, we dont know whos the best when it comes to team spirit in the dressin room or training ground. ''m not hugely bothered, peoplecan organise whichever ''bank of four'' theyre in withot having an armband. Whatever happens, dont give it to the lazy one without a position, please
12. After my Marlon King post, I felt the need to prove my point once more that there are some fantastic players available on the cheap. I dont expect us to get ALL of these, but I''m gutted that we cant even pick up a few, it''d be better that the Hughes'' or Jarretts or Thornes or Louis Jeans of this world, coinsidentally, for the price we paid for say Hughes and Colin(a good player I''ll admit) we could have bought every player in this squad... Ian Walker-free Clarke Carlisle- £100k Maurice Ross-free (24 yr old Scotland defender) Craig Short-free David Unsworth- free John Spicer £35k Marco Reich- free Seth Johnson- free Ian Hume-£500k Kevin Doyle-Tiny fee from an Irish club (one of championship top scorers) Billy Sharp-£100k (2nd in league one top scorers)
13. £500,000, a snip, just shows the bargains ARE out there
14. I agree with getting sponsors on shirts- its a good way of raising funds. But I dont see why teams muck about with designs that much. I havent liked a lot of our away kits, I say keep ''em green!!!
15. I thought Etuhu was very good when he came on on saturday, even got a few attemptts on goal, i''m sure that like Robinson, he''ll be a great addition when adapted and settled in, it takes a long time for some players.
16.
What is a big fee ?, realistically a £1m bid will probably secure Greeno''s services.  Undervalued perhaps but I can''t see anyone paying much above thiis figure.
when was the last time a 25 year old England international sold for £1million??? I think Man U and Everton might take on Greeno, its not a risk because they''ve all seen what he can do in the premiership
17. Johnson = quick, good finisher, good at penalties.   £5million?? Ashton= good header, immense fnisher, links up with the midfield(in a team that has one), 3 years younger, holds up the ball. surely worth more. After 3 years in the Prem. Ashton would be twice the player Johnson is. He could have an England career as England are short of ''traditionally English'' strikers. No-one to hold up the ball or win it in the air, Johnson would always be kept out of the team by Owen/Rooney/Defoe/Vassell, Ashton would easily overtake Crouch in the pecking order. And you think diver Johnsons worth more??
18. This may make me very unpopular, but I personally think that selling Greeno may be the way forward. There are a lot of Premiership teams who would pay a lot for a young England keeper, he''d be ideal for Everton, Man U or Arsenal. If, and only if, we could get a big fee out of a top team, I think the money could be more useful invested in the team rather than standing between the posts (no offence but its hard for a ''keeper to influence a game). At this level, we dont need a top ''keeper, we need a competent keeper. Greens departure could fund a bid for McSheffrey, an attacking midfielder and a winger. Just a thought...
19. Hope he''s got over everything that was troubling him
20. So 2 good wins and suddenly everyones back on worthys side. The evening news poll has been turned on its head and the WOs seem quiet. Dont get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed the win on Saturday, a great performance, and i hope it continues at least long enough to convince Deano that the club has a future. But my opinions on Worthy have not changed! It took more than 2 defeats to hear people wanting him out, it should take more than 2 wins to convince us hes good enough. He should not have changed anyones mind yet, but he should be 2 wins closer to changing every WOs mind. I dont think he should be our manager, but I can be wrong.
21. McSheffrey would be an immense signing but i doubt that 1 million is enough. I like a lot of those rumours and would be delighted with 3 or 4 of those signings
22. I dont care if we win 342-0, its gone too far, i''m petrified about january and we need a manager who wil get the best out of the team
23. Think we should be thanking Saf, when 99% of players in his situation would have buggered off to Feyenoord, he''s remained loyal to the club. If only all the players were as passionate about the club
