  1. Will the bad news ever end? Clubs a jook. 😀
  2. No wonder they think Liz Truss is a trade negotiating powerhouse, they're comparing her with Lord Frost. The mistake Frost made was believing Johnson when he said there wouldn't be any paperwork. Jim Pickard @PickardJE · 1h David Frost, Brexit minister, on withdrawal agreement: “We underestimated the effect of the protocol on goods movements to Northern Ireland, with some suppliers in GB simply not sending their products because of the time-consuming paperwork required.”
  3. We line the bottom of our hen house with copies of the Daily Mail (supplied by one of our neighbours) for our chickens to sh!t on, an apt way to treat the content. 😀
  4. You get a shiny cup. People get to care when we are on Match of the Day. People get to complain how little of our game is shown on MOTD. Ian Wright has to learn some new players names, remember last time when we signed This Fella and His Mate. We get to fly a different flag. We get lots of money. Gary Neville gets to interview Delia and Michael. The Friday presser gets featured on Sky Sports News. There's loads more, you just need to look for them.
  5. When was it? For me it was Kevin Reeves, I was in my 10th year as a supporter and quite a few had moved on before but selling him to Man City was, at the time, terrible.
  6. Trump had a rally and Fox news declined to broadcast it. It's all over for 'One term' Trump. The numbers can't be looking good as Lara Trump has decided not to run for the Senate, she can't get elected in a red district.
  7. We did send some vaccines to Australia (about 700k) and at the height of the problem in India there was talk of sending some along with the other aid but I can't find any thing that verifies whether the doses were sent. https://fullfact.org/online/vaccine-export-eu/
  8. It's Spurs, Levy wouldn't care if they had a manager if he liked the offer.
  9. Can you do the shorts and socks as well, if I don't get them I'll get kicked out of the FKW club.
  10. Official new lyrics. Farke on a horse We've got Hanley, Ben Gibson and Krul Teemu Pukki can't stop scoring goals We're staying up. 😀
  11. The RHA have reported that we have a shortage of drivers after Brexit. It won't be long until a Government campaign will be saying "Dave's next job is in cyber trucking, he just doesn't know it yet".
  12. The next time Trump will be in the White House will be when he buys a ticket for the tour. https://www.mediaite.com/trump/new-trump-statement-talks-up-next-time-im-in-the-white-house-with-a-swipe-at-mark-zuckerberg/ New Trump Statement Talks Up ‘Next Time I’m in the White House’
  13. Stop! Collaborate and listen A famous horse has gone missing.
  14. Ask the people of Northern Ireland. Ask people with small businesses. Ask retirees in Spain. Etc.
  15. I'm living in Europe, it's a quaint little country called England.
  16. When Leicester City heard about this they too the F A Cup round to her house for some 'photos. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/news/local-news/late-husbands-leicester-city-fa-5435949 Late husband's Leicester City FA Cup promise finally fulfilled for 96-year-old - 73 years after his proposal
  17. The EFL have replaced Mitre with Puma as their official ball supplier. Looks like we've dodged one there.
  18. We had started the process of WFH for the majority of staff a couple on months before the pandemic. Moved our IT to the cloud and changed from an assigned desktop to a more flexible approach. We own all of our offices so paying rent on empty offices wasn't an issue for us. The future will be predominately WFH, I expect to be going to the office probably 3 or 4 times a month, for others it will be more and the customer facing staff will probably be back to full time. I used to visit some of our regional offices about once a quarter, I can't see that starting again as we've been managing perfectly OK and I don't believe there's an appetite to start the visits again. I'm past the social aspect of work, I like the occasional meal after work to celebrate an occasion. I can understand the younger members of staff have missed that a lot more than I did. Last week we had a Zoom call to say goodbye to someone, most of us on the call hadn't met them in person and they'd never been to an office. We live in different times. I also think I've been a bit more productive as I've been prepared to work a bit longer as I know I don't have the travelling time.
  19. Maybe they'd like to be in conditions that are not illegal. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9647585/Conditions-inside-Napier-Barracks-UNLAWFUL.html High Court judge rules government illegally held people in Kent detention centre after challenge from six asylum seekers It's disgusting that Priti Vacant Patel thinks this is OK.
  20. Malta and Cyprus are EU countries in the Commonwealth, I'm not sure any of those two have ambitions to be head of the Commonwealth.
  21. No longer 'From the desk of'. https://www.mediaite.com/trump/just-in-after-just-29-days-trump-shuts-down-his-blog-permanently/ Rumours are that as soon as he found out there was a monthly fee he closed it down. 🤣
  22. It's Sean Insanity from Fox news selectively editing a speech for his RWNJ viewers. Sean you BFF Trump actually 'interrupted' teenage girls from a beauty pageant whilst they were changing outfits, said if you are rich and famous you can grab womens p****** and said he would date his daughter, that is creepy.
