  1. I hope its true too, what i heard did not please me but i thought i would share it.
  2. Sorry to have to post this depressing information, but Parkinson has been offered the job and is thinking it over the weekend, Norwich hope to make the announcement late Monday but probably Tuesday as they still can`t agree compensation. I do not post on here with tittle tattle or sensationalism and i dearly hope this information is wrong but don`t be suprised at Parkinson coming. Just to answer all those source comments that will be thrown my way, its from someone in the accounts/finance department who is on very good terms with one of the board, that is the most i can and will say, so don`t ask me to go any further. Really hoped it would be Jewell or Tilson, same old Norwich lets do it on the cheap !
  3. Cmon Wiz tho your views can be extreme, you are at least a Norwich fan, surely some of the rubbish Smudger comes out with you cant agree with? i have tried emailing him and he won`t reply or getting him to back up some silly comment and he never can, im not happy with the current situation and would love to see a change in board and management, but i won`t post drivel.
  4. Here`s hoping Smudger has moved to the other side of the planet to a remote jungle location with no internet access !!!
  5. Mister positive, u make many valid points and i really, really hope u r right !!!
  6. Pub next to travel inn, cant remember the  name but its just up road past cricket club and fire station, great for parking and food, 5 min walk and very friendly, have a good night.
  7. Quick to criticize Jas but check any replies on this thread, thank you.
  8. Did you read my last post Jas ??   I Hope your daughter is feeling better today
  9. Okay i thought i might recieve some flak for this post, Charlies dad accused me of being immature, thats not fair, my post was based on many people on here being shareholders who were going to attend the AGM and raise hell, that from reports did not happen tho one or two did speak out ( probably posters on this forum ). As regards the other comments no im not a shareholder, tho only a hundred pounds to be one, not a lot of money to some but a hell of a lot to those who have been thru an expensive divorce, as regards my support i travel 544 mile round trip to watch the garbage we serve up, if i was a shareholder and lived within a hundred miles last night i would have gone last night. The post was not meant to annoy, but our pinkun message board is one of the biggest supported on the net, and it would be fair to assume quite a few are shareholders, yet when push came to shove nothing happened and that is also a dig at shareholders who don`t come on this message board, can they truly be happy with the direction our club is going in? Every season you can usually pick out the 3 or 4 clubs most likely to be relegated but this season its too hard to predict, i believe relegation is a real possibility this year and none of us want that, we are after all Norwich City fans and now is the time to unite before it is too late.
  10. Well from reading this board the last few days the AGM was going to be a stormy affair with Delia and Michael going to be given a rough ride, well it would seem you can all say your piece on here but when it came to it bottled it on the night, just like to say really well done !!
  11. City angel, its just excuses, excuses, excuses all the time.
  12. Ipswich, no doubt, thats a fact, 100% guaranteed
  13. As usual Smudger doesnt answer the question properly !!!
  14. Suprise, suprise, no reply, perhaps you could paste a link in from autoroute to show him where Carrow Road is !!!!
  15. Nice post Cluck i enjoyed reading it, u are indeed a true city fan unlike your pal Smudger, i have followed city home and away since 1979 and must have attended near on a 1,000 games, one thing has never bothered me and that is losing as long as the players have come out and gave 100%, thats great, obviously over the years i have seen more defeats than wins, but i always think it makes the wins sweeter.    About ten years ago i took a Man utd fan with me to Birmingham away, we won 2-1 with Adie Forbes scoring both, we had an understrength side that day and got battered, we battled for everything, us fans sung our hearts out, it was a great day, Mike the Man Utd fan who came with me said he enjoyed it more than any game he had seen during the last 5 years previous, he commented on the passion of players and supporters and that being a Utd fan just took winning for granted, he also couldnt believe the way we celebrated at the final whistle, he commented its like you have won the Fa cup, you can keep your Uniteds and Chelski`s i wouldnt support anyone else for all the money in the world. But Cluck you are right that special feeling aint quite there at the moment, is that the players, management or board? Maybe a mix of all three !!
  16. So if you havent been for 15 years Smudger, were you also disillusioned in the great years of 92-94 or perhaps you have never really been a fan at all, case closed !!!!!
  17. You may remember last season Hucks was phenomenal after xmas but dreadful before that !!
  18. I hope you accept the apology Celia, i could blame my flu or my poor teams performances or the negativity of the board, but none of these are an excuse for rudeness. Great job done as usual !!!
  19. I was rather unkind in an email i sent to Celia earlier, so here`s a public apology and some humble pie, Sorry.   I just felt some on here are too unkind at times.
  20. This prudence can be traced back to the beginning of the prem season, we missed staying up by one or two points, had we signed Ashton in August instead of January im pretty sure between August and Jan we would have earned more than two points and stayed up, so the board saved about 400k in Ashtons wages by not signing him earlier but lost 25 million by being relegated, it was then the boat should have been pushed out and we could have been an established prem club now, the rest as they say is history !!!
  21. Spillane is in the back row of the team photo, he looks well over 5"9, im sure i read he is 6 " 1, which looks about right.
  22. Thats easy, i go back to watching City from 1972, it has to be Ken Brown, Chris Woods, Dave Watson, Steve Bruce, John Deehan, Kevin Drinkell, David Williams, Bryan Gunn, Mark Bowen, Ian Crook, Ian Culverhouse, Wayne Biggins, All great buys at bargain prices tho i have probably left a few out.
