  1. Now I may be setting myself up for a barrage of abuse here but... Let''s Not Forget Hendo! I know he''s been getting some stick, but let''s not forget last season''s stint on the right wing, starting with his game changing substitute appearance at Walsall.  Let''s also not forget his two excellent strikes against Milwall which led to the Barclay chanting his name. I think Hendo could replicate a lot of this form next year, he''s a year older, wiser and stronger. OK, begin condemnation.... NOW!
  2. In around February they invited all participants from this year to re-subscribe to the scheme, but this time it is going to cost a tenner in admin costs!  Cheeky, especially now considering it will be Championship opposition.
  3. I like the look of Alan Partridge on the wing.  A seasoned pro who is Norwich through and through.  Would probably do a whole sight better than Jonson anyway...
  4. I really want to get Kris Commons in from Forest - he has been excellent this season and will not be keen on languishing in League One.
  5. I thought it was Birmingham. Either way, Francis'' performances of late are a deep disappointment to me, when you consider his excellent form at the start of the season.  I cannot understand his attitude, and when you have players like McKenzie running his heart out for the cause, do we need players like Francis at the club?
  6. If you look at how the England squad that was announced today is listed, it looks like this: Green (Norwich), Carson (Liverpool), James (Man C) Does this mean that Greeno is technically England''s first choice keeper!!?? (for a bit)
  7. Not too many to chose from away from home, but perhaps 1. Hux v Arsenal 2. Damo v Portsmouth 3. Deano v Palace Although I think the one I enjoyed most was Helveg''s 30 yard screamer past Van Der Sar in the 90th minute against Fulham at John Craven Cottage to make it 1-0.
  8. The advantage of being an away season ticket holder - got mine about a week and a half ago. Sorry to rub it in...
  9. Let''s not forget Huck''s strike at Arsenal, or Francis'' screamer against West Brom.
  10. This idiom has previously backfired on us, most notably away at Selhurst and St. Mary''s.  It seems tiresome now - arrogant and cliched.  Imagine, not only having to suffer the pain of relegation, but also being forced to endure hoards of Fulham fans taunting us with our own conceited and unimaginative victory rhetoric. If we go 1-0 up - No. If we go 2-0 up - No. If we go 10-0 up - No. Once we win and are guaranteed another glorious year in the Premiership - Go nuts.
  11. I''ve won 5 Premierships in a row on Championship Manager.  I therefore have the bestest football knowledge on this message board, and in fact, any message board I choose to grace with my presence. In fact, in light of my achievements, I feel that the board should sack Worthy right now, and install me as manager.
  12. Easy Tiger!  You were so annoyed that you took your finger off the shift button too early when inputting your numerous exclamation marks. Firstly, for a large part of the season Safri has been injured, and when he had played in the early part of the season he had been below par. Secondly, if Niemi hadn''t pulled off an excellent save from Charlton''s header, we would all be saying what a genius Worthy was.  I was astounded when he did make that swap rather than bringing Jonson on, but Charlton did well. I think you need to calm down a bit.  Worthington has built a strong team, and since we have been injury free we have competed in every game.  He is a good manager who is not reactionary (Ferguson), arrogant (Mourinhio) or ignorant (Royle et al).  There is still a chance that we will stay up, and if we do it will be down to him.  If we don''t, I have faith that he can get us up again.
  13. Yes Mr. Carrow, Fleming is going to read this post and cry like a baby.
  14. Chris Wise''s article on the Player of the Season award includes Fleming as one of the 5 main candidates!  What!?  Has he been watching the same season as us?  Apparently he has "by and large been solid as a rock". Mr. Wise, Fleming has been consistently out of his depth this year, and this is a truely laughable suggestion.
  15. Quick, someone make sure that all of the drills have been removed from David T''s house! 08.40 - Press Return
  16. Damien Francis - Can be fairly inconsistent, but at times has been superb, and his goals have been invaluable.
  17. If... Newcastle beat Palace at home (They''re due a win) Everton win away at Fulham (Still fighting for their 4th place) We beat Saints (Can happen) Because West Brom don''t play until Monday, the league could realistically look like this on Saturday night: 16.   Fulham         35 17.   Norwich        33 18.   Palace          30 19.   West Brom    30 20.   Southampton 28 Come on!
  18. The only time I have seen Jonson make any sort of impact on a game was away at Portsmouth, when he deputised for the dismissed Edworthy at right back.  That day he was absolutely superb, nothing got past him. Generally, he has been disappointing, trotting about the pitch with little interest, and when on the ball he seems to sufer from a lack of ideas or any creativity.
  19. I think the injuries made a big difference.  It doesn''t seem a coincidence that against Arsenal we were woeful and only had two players who didn''t play for us in the first division (and one of them was Stuart!), and then against Man U we were able to field Helveg, Safri and Bentley who have since been outstanding.
  20. It''s official - the girliest ever discussion on The Pink ''Un message board.
  21. This is the funniest thing I''ve heard since Jimmy Hill suggested in World Cup 98, the Romanians all dying their hair blonde would give them an extra advantage!
