1. Your a wind-up merchant, so I want to say no, but yes I could see it happening if enough money offered (up front). £5 million for Grant, would he say no? I know good strikers are difficult to come by but would you reject a premiership move if you had no emotional ties to a club? Player power alone could make it happen. Hopefully I''m just being silly but you can never say never in this crazy football world. p.s. Did the fan who turn up at Colney for trial go to the game on Sat? If he did no wonder he thought he was worth one!
2.
I hope I find a spare million quid on the street and that Kelly Brook wants me to teach her about this thing they call "sex".
Hahaha, Spot on!
3. If Worthy goes I would imagine it will be expensive so I reckon Hunter will get it. I think he''ll play the youngsters so I would have no problems with this. If we are VERY lucky Curbishley, but can we really get someone of his calibre? Must confess that I expect a little run until Worthy''s job is safe again, the misarable cynic in me I guess!
4. This is from a man who said ''to be fair'' in every sentance! Earnshaw isn''t top top quality but then we''re not a top top quality team. He''s a good goalscorer who would not need to be replaced if we got back to the Premiership.
5. I''m in the sell Green get the money for a striker camp. I heard someone mention Green to Man City for £950k + appearance money (up to £1.2million). Now don''t get me wrong my initial reaction when told was he has read the BBC website etc and put two and two together, however it''s also not far fetched. Just thought I''d share what I heard. Before anyone asks, no I won''t share the source cos if i did he''d never tell me anything again. p.s. Norwich very good on Tuesday and am delighted that we''ve decided top play football again!
6. No. Rather have Eastwood form Southend even though he''d cost a fair whack! Horsfields wages would prob be too high for little old norwich anyhoo. Slightly dissappointed by the post, usually you do a really good job as a wind up merchant whats going on? p.s. well done worthy on the signing of Croft!
7. See Warnocks paid £2.2 million with £800k add-ons. Little over priced imo!
8. Havn''t posted on here for a little while so do forgive me if this subject has been raised before, but... Is anyone else quite excited about the prospect of so many youngsters in the squad and a coach who knows how to deal with them? I can''t wait to see what sort of influence Hunter can have on both the development of players like Spillane, Jarvis'', Cave-Browns etc and on Worthy''s team selection i.e. playing said players in their preferred positions. I know some may not make it but in this summer/2 years of little to get excited about, it''s a start.
9. The question I would ask is have you seen Kuqi play? He really isn''t that good and I was extremely suprised a talented manager like Mark Hughes signed him. In short, no thanks. A complete overhaul of the team would undoubtedly be disasterous but we do need at least 4-5 new players who will actually start in the first team. I think most people know where the improvements are required. I have a funny feeling our newly signed up younger players might just do a job this year, given a chance. I think Hunter might be more inclined to nudge Worthy in that direction should push come to shove.
10. No way it will be Norwich Union. Just renewed their sponsorship of British Athletics for a start.
11. Stephen Miller...brilliant, hilarious! I needed a laugh after todays no show, thanks. Let me put this simply...spoilt children spit their dummys out in an irrational uncontrolable manner to get their way. I on the other hand think that a man who has had time and money and has some excellent players in his squad should be capable of doing a lot better, thats not a childish opinion its just my opinion. I''m not fickle and I''m not Paul Rankin (sorry paul but you make Victor Meldrew look like an overly happy childrens tv presenter) i just want success for NCFC and i don''t believe we can get that with Worthington. Facts don''t lie, we are 14th in the table! Not good enough.
12. No this will not help. The fact is only one thing will make the board sit up and listen and that is MONEY! If enough people don''t renew their season tickets they will have to do something, if people keep paying they will stick with him at least until a couple of months into next season. Now it''s up to each individuals beliefs and opinions as to what they want to do but the fact remains money makes the football world go round.
13. No i will not support a manager who i do not think is doing a good job. Do you work for the club? If he leaves now i would thank him for the good times and thank him for doing the right thing in leaving. It''s not personal its just facts! It''s his team, he has had more money than any other norwich manager and the team are not only not getting results (the name of the game) but we are not even showing that we are capable of one. He sees the players everyday so he really should do better with one of the most talented group of players in this league!
14. Want it to be:                                                         Green             Rehman           Doherty                    Shackell           Drury             McVeigh           Safri            Etuthu (if he turns up)        Huckerby                                          JJ                Earnshaw   I think it will be:                                                       Green             Rehman         Fleming                   Doherty             Drury                         Hughes               Safri            Etuthu                JJ                                                                 Hucks                                                 Earnshaw
15. If robinson is fit i would take out Etuthu and put robinson in...other than that totally agree! Won''t happen though, he won''t drop Hughes.
16. Just gonna throw this name to ya. Good midfielder, young, experience in this league with Burnley, not getting a game at WBA with only 6 starts this year. They maybe tempted with a loan if they bring in Quashie as reported. Thoughts?
17. Looks like knowone coming in of any note then. I was secretly hoping that worthy might pull a rabbit out of the hat but with Halford, Earnshaw, Jerome & Davenport all ruled out (or at least claiming to be ruled out) that leaves us with...? Oh dear. We will have to wait till the summer then. Hope I''m wrong but can''t see anything of note happening now.
18. Well...just got to work, and all i can think about is WILL WE SIGN ANYONE TODAY! I literally can''t get the thought out of my head. I hope we sign at least 2 in the next 24hrs but i am beginning to lose hope. Maybe Wiz might be right and there will be no more signings. We are gonna have to be patient but its not an attribute i have at this time of year! Come on Worthy, rabbit out of a hat time...
19. It''s cos alot of other clubs want to wait as long as possible to sell. I know it may ruin ant chance of getting replacements but it may help them get the best price possible.
20. What Francis did was shady there is no denying it, BUT he is still far superior than anything we have as an option alongside Safri! It won''t happen but if it did I would be happy.
21. All this waiting around for something to happen is driving me bloody crazy...I hope for the sake of my blood pressure something happens today. Oh, and on the Jerome issue, if we pay more than 2.5 it''s a massive gamble & a mistake imo.
22. So Worthy & the Doomcaster are working around the clock on transfers....Just saw Doomcaster outside my work on Surrey Street @ 5 to 5! Don''t get me wrong, I''d finished work early but i havn''t claimed to be working all the hours of the day! Sorry, just annoyed me a little and needed to get it off my chest. B4 anyone says it, no, this isn''t a Carl Cort in ASDA situation.
23. Yep, any of those would do Northern!  We appear to be on a similar wave length...
24.                                          Ward Halford                Doc                       Davenport               Drury   McVeigh             Idiakez                    Safri                Huckerby                                          McSheffrey                     Jerome   Subs: Etuthu, Hughes, Shackell, Henderson, Fleming, Lewis   This may be a pipe dream but we could afford it if we sell Green to Charlton as has been mentioned. This team would soon make me forget about Ashton. What team would u guys like to see by Feb?
