How high can we climb?
Kirby_86 replied to flying high up in the sky!'s topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
If we could find the way to score more goals, we could finish comfortably mid-table. I fear that otherwise we shall finish high enough, say 13th-15th, to look forward to next season. Why are we not scoring many? I wonder if CH knows. It may be our concentration on defence, and with it our lack of creativity in the midfield, and it may be scorers who are just converting enough chances. Whatever the reason, it is difficult to see much changing before the end of the season. So, it''s back to the wall, chaps! I think that we may see several tight games, draws and single goal victories.
Couldn''t of said it better myself.OTBC....COME ON YOU YELLOWS!!! -

Best decision of the season?
Kirby_86 replied to BlyBlyBabes's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Bunn has certainly improved after being chucked in at the deep end with Ruddy''s injury,so fair play to him. -
Yes,i admit the 9 cleansheets are a positive,BUT i still wish we would score more goals. We have failed to score in 6 out of our last 8 Premier League games. That simply isn''t good enough and its very frustrating.

The end justifies the means....

Big investment doesn''t always = big success.Sometimes like already mentioned it can mean a big drop in form and club standings in the English game.Be careful what you wish for... -
Cheers mate. That has cheered me up,a bit. Saying that, today''s match was another very frustrating game and we were lacking, again,in going forward or having any short of sharpness in the final 3rd.
We should stay up this season but I feel the football and the style of our play has become as negative as one of hughtons press conferences. I do not feel positive with Hughton at the helm for next season and the boring team that he has moulded us into. The amount of draws that we have played out at carrow road this season just begs belief, especially against teams that are either poor on the road or routed to the bottom of the table. I think we are in for a very long season next year.
Couldn''t agree more.I also think we will stay up this season, but next season is already looking tough, very tough...

Interesting capacity statistics....
Kirby_86 replied to Not Nigel's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Very fair points and i have mentioned these to people in the past, especially the seats where your view of the pitch is blocked where i feel there should be some sort of discount off the price of the ticket. Its alos quite true that yes there at seats on sale right up untill the day of the game, but these do tend to be single seats on there own which of course means people can''t take others with them. -
Im sure at 20-30 quid a pop we could sell nearly 35k for the bigger games. At current casual prices capacity is probably about right.
Very good point. We got 26,800+ for Fulham at home but in the days leading upto the game tickets were still available spread round the ground. -
Im going to go for a 2-1 win for us...Snodgrass and Holt (or Becs) to score. We take a 2-0 lead, they pull one back which leaves a nervous end... COYY!!!!

after everything...we could go 10th Saturday

I really hope your right Indy...COME ON NORWICH!!!!!! -
Its the start of a huge month for NCFC,but would people accept an away draw at QPR?. A tough game that could go either way with both clubs adding players.
-
keep the faith folks! hopefully we can make it happen.
