1. The board won''t gamble such an amount unless they thought it necessary, and as the club is sitting pretty so is worthy. We''d have to be close to relegation to threaten Worthy''s position at the club, or over 1/2 way through the season and in a medioca position such as 14/15th but even then I''m not sure he''d be sacked. While the club is nice and comfy in the Championship the board will have no reason to sack him. I hope he brings us success because I don''t like the idea of Norwich being in a dangerous position, even to get worthy sacked I''d never wish it upon the club as we might not recover.
 2.
highlights of the crewe defender
He is a player of good quality, from what I saw he will be premiership quality eventually......Andy Hughes however is an average player at best, what would you put in it? It would just be tape of all the passes he''s fluffed.Effort counts for nothing if you don''t have the skill to match, I have all the effort in the world to play for them and play for nothing! but I guarantee I''d never get a place
 3. An amount that we will not be able to afford come the end of next season if we are not promoted, this isn''t just limited to Earnshaw though....
 4. A dissapointing game, Arsenal can certainly have alot of grudges against the referee and linesman after their absmal performance, as a fully qualified referee I believe I have some idea. They IMO opinion ruined the game for Arsenal and ultimately lost them the game. Lehmann should not have been sent off and the linesman missed a clear offside on the equalizer. Arsenal were always going to be stuck on the back foot after the sending off and lacked the ability to go forward with only 10 men. The correct desision should have been a goal to Barcelona and yellow card at most to Lehmann, as it didn''t look delibrate and he didn''t deny a goal scoring opportunity. Aside from that very simple defending errors let Arsenal down, which gave the winning goal. What was the keeper doing?
 5. Well I''ll pick England winning the World Cup its more unlikely and far more cheerful and enjoyable than a Worthy sacking, as much as I''d like to see him go I''d still much rather have success. England win the world cup and Norwich gets promoted [:)] *sigh* I''ll just keep on dreaming...
 6. Yes, must see a good start to the season absolute bare minimum of all home wins
 7.
Pete should plan how he''s going to spend his money.
Hopefully on the NCFC team, noone else is going to! He''ll make better choices as well lol
 8. I prefer a more positive look at it, its an infiltration of Ipswich by Norwich Union. Before long they''ll be called Norwich Union F.C. and play in Yellow and Blue. [;)] But personally all I see is business, Norwich Union are in no way affiliated with NCFC other than the name. They see this as a chance to make some money nothing else, Ipswich obviously need the investment badly and we don''t. I don''t see how this shows a lack of faith in city. I have a bad feeling that I may have fallen for a joke post however *sigh* Oh well I''ll just claim I''m young and naive
 9.
Look and feel - It will balance the stadium - city stand looks out of place and of lower division capacity
I agree with this, hopefully it will give a much more symetrical look to the stadium with the jarrold stand being taller at the moment
Atmoshpere improved
Unfortunatly increasing the stadium capacity does not guarentee any improvement in atmosphere, if the current "lazy" fans actually bothered to sing, cheer, chant etc then the atmosphere would improve anyway. The atmosphere is also directly linked with team performance we need to see good, encouraging football in order to motivated the fans and install some passion in them.
We still have some prem money
This is our last season with parachute payments from the premiership this money needs to be spent wisely and I do not think a stand at the moment is a wise idea. The team looks in much worse condition, that is where we need investment currently. Promotion next season and then we can go for it. This is certainly something that can wait and I don''t believe putting it off would mean it would cost more later and even if we do it, will the transfer funds suffer and thus the team? I''m all for a bigger stadium but I''d prefer Premiership football to it, with it comes more money that can be invested into the stadium.
 10. I signed up because I love the club. I didn''t do it for worthy, delia or the players, I did it for myself. It may not get better but I stick by the hope that it will get better with or without worthy. Who knows what could happen next season that is the magic of football
 11. I wouldn''t rule out the possibility of one of the newly promoted teams, I''ve got a feeling about the team who wins the play offs will make a bid for him but I could easily be very wrong. Remember this isn''t all about money, if the offer comes of Premiership football and Green says I want to go there isn''t alot we can do even if the offer is small. He seems to me more interested in playing for his country than any particular club, and to really achieve that he''s got to have regular football at a Premiership club. Arsenal he could find himself on the bench too much, but with Charlton I agree they are probably the biggest threat in my opinion.
 12. I think he''s a better choice than Walcott, but then there are better choices than Ashton. I''d rather have Darren Bent or Jermain Defoe. I was shocked to see Bent overlooked altogether he deserves to go after such a good season and scoring the most goals this season in the Premiership.
 13. Well certainly don''t want Crystal Palace and diving Johnson going up. I prefer Watford out of the two clubs but another London club going up is what puts me off. Would have really liked to see Preston going up but nevermind, have they been in the Premiership before? I''ll be going for Watford though, because of the Norwich links mainly and because Malky deserves more than anyone a game in the Premiership.
 14.
Remind me to redicule you next time you make a mistake at work.
As a student I''m not in full time work, but as lifeguard I always take full responsibilty for any of my mistakes. I''m actually good at my job though and I save lives but I only seem to be graced with £5.50 an hour unlike Mr. I can''t pass a ball even when im paid several grand a week.
And if you think Hughes is worse than Peter Grant, Shaun Carey, Mike Milligan, Steve Walsh, Daryl Sutch, Brian McGovern, Adrian Coote etc etc then either you never watched us back then, or you have a terrible memory.
I didn''t actually agree with the original post and say he was the worst, make sure you can read properly. I was merely finding it funny some of you need to lighten up. Hughes has a bundle of our money at our expense so I don''t see why we should have sme fun at his expense. But I do remember some of those players, I''m too young to remember Daryl Sutch when he was a younger player but yes he was particularly bad in Right Back where worthy always played him. Peter Grant, Shaun Carey, Steve Walsh are all outside my memory, too young. Brian McGovern wasn''t that bad, quite a commanding figure and as I remember he even had his own chant. Adrian Coote actually played some good football and scored goals for us unlike Hughes. Mike Milligan yes was pretty bad, I''ll give you that but as bad as andy hughes hmmm I''m not sure.
You need to look at Robinson (No, please don''t give the ball to me!), Etuhu (where are you Dickson, oh look there you are behind your marker) or perhaps even the fans fave (and professional skyver) Youssef Safri?
Robinson isn''t great but still miles better than hughes, Etuthu is actually starting to look good and Safri may be ill regularly but I wouldn''t be so quick to judge, he can play decent football when he does so that automatically makes him better than Hughes.
Considering most of the games he has been used as a winger (Nigel - WHY?!) then he holds NO responsibility whatever for the demise of our midfield.
From what I''ve seen he can''t play centre or wing and can hughes not speak? If he doesn''t like the wing he should have been talking to Worthy about it. Yes you right it is more a collective effort to the demise of our midfield, I wasn''t actually being serious about him destroying our midfield single handed but he''s certainly helping.
 15. Etuthu is starting to play well and should stay, he is certainly not a joke or rubbish unlike a certain midfielder. Considering he''s only had 11 starts, most of them in the end of season and looked good I think he certainly deserves a proper chance next season.
I think Robinson and Hughes could be good squad players to keep the starters on their toes.
Yeh just so long as they don''t go on the football pitch we''ll be fine.
 16.
lmao....everyone else seems to have had a sense of humour bypass
lmao, Totally agree but you know what they say the truth hurts!
Are we trying to destroy this guy
well seeing as he''s destroyed our midfield (and got piad large amounts for it!) I think we have every right to destroy him lol!
I''m a worse player than Andy Hughes & I don''t get the stick that he does
and
I AM THE WORST PLAYER TO GRACE A FOOTBALL PITCH
Yes, but unlike andy hughes we don''t pay you a stupid amount to play that bad
It looks like the trajectory for this infamous ''hoofball'' I keep hearing about.
lmao again!Ohh and Dickson Etuhu is showing good promise after finally having a chance to start some games unlike hughes who has done over 30 games and still looks crap
