Personally, I would take a mid table position at the end of this season now.

Crnac doesn't look to have the mobility, strength or goal scoring ability to play as a centre forward. His strengths, if any, appear to be from the wing, a position that he played from with his previous club. If Crnac was purchased as a replacement for Sargent - temporary or otherwise - then I would expect him to be showing more than he is currently. Particularly at the price we paid.

I would prefer Doyle to play as part of a back 3, with wing backs. Particularly with the stretched resources that we currently have. Wing backs would allow Doyle to do what he is good at without exposing him to the deficicies that he shows when playing at full back. Wing backs would help strengthen our currently weak midfield and then I would suggest going with a front two of Crnac and Sainz. A change of system would be required but our current one is clearly not working due to injuries and suspension.

The problem is that Crnac is not good enough to play, but the alternatives are probably worse.

I don't know if it would have been disallowed if the shot had gone straight in as i dont know if he was in the keepers line of sight, but it didn't. Sainz was clearly in an offside position when the shot was made and headed in the rebound from the keeper. Therefore offside was the correct decision.

£9m on potential? Surely we should be getting the finished product for that? As for potential, he doesn't look like a wide player and there is no evidence to show that he is capable of leading the line. In which position is his 'potential' for?

He clearly isn't, lacks movement, no pace and doesn't appear to have any physical attributes. To spend approx £9m on a player that is not Championship ready is criminal.

Watching on the telly. Is Crnac on the bench? If so, bring him on and give him some game time.

Can't score with a header if the ball doesn't get crossed in the air. Playing with inverted wingers prevents the 'traditional' type of cross. Never really look like scoring from corners or free-kicks either. Is it the delivery, or is it that we don't have players that are dominant in the air?

Duffy. Cannot think of anyone else suitable and available. Certainly not Sargent who has enough problems on the pitch at the moment. I would like to see Sargent improve his game contributions and without the additional pressure of being Captain. I accept that this latter point is dependant on his team mates actually passing to him.

I don't think that he played centre back for Leicester last season. Mainly left back, I believe. Irrespective of that, he is a seasoned professional at this level despite his age. That is the point that I was making.
