Digusted? I was disgusted that we dropped two divisions with Doc at the heart of the defence and whilst it was not all of his fault, he played a part, as he has in getting us up. He has had a good season but at the business end of the season Nelson performed better & more consistantly. I could not see Doc & Nelson forming the partnership next year due to lack of pace but you need a mixture at the back. IMO Nelson (player of the month for league one when it mattered) is better than Doc has more hunger & desire and crucially is not out of contract & considerably cheaper. A man that has won two out of three games deserves a bit more respect than having his decisions ridiculed when he obviously has only the best for City on his mind. Doc going was always going to happen & if he had not I mind have questioned Lambert a bit more..... opinions don''t you love ''em.

Right decision as Nelson has been the better player for a number of months and when it came down to the crunch he showed more bottle.... Reckon Lambert knows he can get better for less.

Uniquely annoying and full of sh...... Just waiting for another "we''ve got investment lined up" type of speech she came out with at the Norfolk Show Ground. I fully expect her to go missing again if we struggle next year. Congrats to Lambert & his team but can''t celebrate the people that got us to the third tier of football for the first time in my lifetime.    

Yes, let''s remind ourselves of one of the most cringe worthy episodes in our history. Whilst celebrating our lowest league placing in 50 years.... BUT congratulations to Lambert & team for actually instilling some hope in what was a hopeless situation....

5 years? Rubbish, as football banning order are 3 years max. They were told? Those bloody women in the past asking for a vote eh... should have done what they were told eh? Celebrating on the pitch IS part of football tradition and a cook & her hencemen just don''t understand

evertoniancolufan, We wanted to pay compensation but you were unreasonable. I have never know a chairman be so pathetically childish in a dispute and he should have been fined for stoking up bad feeling before your derby game (not ours we only have one derby game). Lambert was probably told by us that we could not reach a settlement as Robbie had thrown his toys out of the pram & then resigned. Everybody has the right to resign from a job or employer that is being unreasonable. Many a manager has resigned & joined another club, in fact it has happened to us a few times. It''s life. Can''t wait for this to be settled & we can carry on with important things, such as enjoying our promotion.  

Go to the open day then you can go on the pitch all you like, meanwhile Saturday keep off and the rest of us can enjoy the celebrations.

Under no circumstances must the lad go and if he does he should be dumped outside the local hospital with a NO LONGER WANTED sign round his neck..... Don''t contaminate the lad, he may NEVER recover...   Thanks

You can sense the hurt in his posts, his beloved small town club gets gates a good 5''000 / 6''000 less than their bigger neighbours despite being a league above, they''re mediocre despite a top 6 budget and millions spent on players. Add in the fact that they had to start a campaign (section 6 LOL!) to get an atmosphere going at the third empty council owned statium and he just can''t handle it anymore..... We should do our bit for care in the community and enjoy his ramblings whilst not cutting off what little social interaction he gets :o)

Thanks to all of those people that took the rebate and made the board realise we''d had enough with failure. Thanks to those people, Delia & co realised that the board needed a change & brought inMcNally & co, who soon realised Mr Gunn was out of his depth. Thank god for those people that took the rebate because can you imagine the dross we''d be saddled with above & beyond, Gill, Tudor, Whalley, Wiggins, Maric & the truly incredible Theo (although thankful he is gone now). Enjoy your promotion you deserve it!

Nelson has been superb and deserves his chance in the Championship. I see no reason why he could not make it.
