1.
... this forum soooo bloomun'' quiet? I think even the most cold hearted, belligerent poster would find it hard to moan at the moment Double N. AS I have said before, my attitude is each game as it is played. Each good performance and/or win makes my day or week and gets the credit whereas a bad performance or loss spoils my day or week and gets the criticism it deserves. Obviously some will never be happy until we have Jeff Bezos as owner and we are top of the Prem.
Ridiculous statement... I''d be happy with Warren Buffett
 2.
... this forum soooo bloomun'' quiet?🤫
Its because decent and intelligent debate is always shut down by the usual subjects...
 3.

Surprised that nobody has mentioned yet the quite loud chants in V1 & V2 after the Scum goal and also a few renditions of '' You don''t know what you''re doing ''.When cracks start to appear in the away support especially in a local derby Farke has got to start producing the goods before too much longer surely as it will end in tears. Leitner saved the day with the equalizer which of course sent the away following wild because of who we were playing not because of how we were playing.
a good few are not only missing tonight but I don''t doubt having a quite sob somewhere
Congrats on posting the most obvious post that was going to happen tonight... Celebrate 5th rather than pointlessly digging out a fellow City fan x
 4. Some people need a bit more time to settle in...A bit like Iwan and his 1st and 2nd season
 5. It''s shows that we are more competitive than I thought we would be and fair play to Farke, Webber and the team... Long may it continue
 6.
We can''t be too far away from the AGM which will give us an idea of spending and wage budgets. I''d suggest that the figures are only going to highlight how good a job Webber has done to keep us competitive against a backdrop of some tough financial constraints.
Given that we lost two players responsible for 49% of goals and assists, to be 2 points better off than this time last year is a result and hopefully it continues over the course of the season. The morale seems better as well which is good...
 7.
I don''t blame Webber for his comments about Howson. It was being rumoured long before Webber and Farke were in place that Howson wanted out. When he was sold the club were getting loads of abuse, how dare they sell fans-fav Johnny Howson! Howson has never said it wasn''t true he didn''t want to go or that he wasn''t being difficult in training. Maybe he didn''t want to be disruptive and was being advised by his agent to be awkward to force a move through? I really don''t know, but I am satisfied that Webber wasn''t completely talking rubbish!
I''d rather our Director of football spent his time on our squad than players no longer at the club... I hope he succeeds as it will mean we have a decent side.. but I do not like or trust the bloke ... hey ho..don''t lose sleep over it

But as far as I can see, whenever he has said something about them, it has always been in response to direct questions bringing the subject up. If you''d rather he didn''t answer such questions, or rather he gave some bland and meaningless reply, why not say so? You don''t have to like him, or trust him, but nor do you have to cast groundless aspersions at him.
Groundless aspersions... I laughed at that one...

 10.

Don''t like him due to his rubbish spouted about Howson
Nah, he wouldn''t have said that without several witnesses to back him up. In a libel situation you have to prove anything you say is factual. It was carefully timed after his transfer went through, but Webber knew exactly what he was doing.
I agree Webber was... It was petty and unprofessional. Nothing I have heard or indeed seen from Howson on is return to Carrow Rd warranted, a childish dig that achieving nothing more than sullying the players reputation.. I also know of thinks he has done that show he is very petty at times... if he does his job fine but I will lose no sleep when the Leeds fan leaves
Seems a bit over sensitive to me.
11.
"Not The Fall???" I had the privilege to be at The Fall''s final gig in Glasgow last November so have been revisiting their back catalogue - some forgotten gems and reappraisal of the more recent stuff. Apples
Forgotten now many times I saw the Fall... never knew what you would get but never dull. Had the chance to meet him but was too scared... Great post this...
 12. Paul Weller new album, first I have liked in ages. Billy Cobham - Spectrum (contains Stratus & that Massive Attack sample). Spiritualized - And Nothing Hurt - Great album. Any Tom Waits / Nick Cave. Alejandro Escovedo - The Crossing (old American punk with guest appearance from Peter Perrett of the Only Ones. Tom Petty - Live Anthology 14 sides of pure class. Gruff Rhys - Babelsberg Saw him live the other day... fab. Big Star - Best Of Big Star. (Whisper this one) Deep Purple - Burn... quilty pleasure...
 13. I wouldn''t as I don''t run a football team and he''d be a bit lost selling records...
 14. But personal opinions matter not one jot.. he said he should be judged after 3/4 transfer windows. Lets see at the end of the year whether he should stay or go. At the moment its looking ok for him with 4 wins on the bounce

 16. 1400 plus at Wycombe...respect! That''s a tenth of a scum home home
 17. Don''t like him due to his rubbish spouted about Howson and his comments post Bolton last year but prove is in the results so...... Meanwhile 1400 plus at Wycombe.... Respect City fans
 18.
I saw earlier someone say once McLean is fit he’ll replace Cantwell, on current form and performances not a chance in my opinion. I can’t say I rate McLean as a regular first team player more a bench player, maybe I’m being harsh but reminds me of of a certain French lad we bought from Scotland.
We will find out but imo McLean looked the part and he seemed more inclined to push forward... great at Aberdeen. Cantwell looked decent although he nearly cost us second half. Looked to have improved though..stronger

 20.
Fuzzar wrote the following post at 23/09/2018 12:13 PM: He wasn''t a snip at £25m Mike. It was a very fair price at the time for a player previously untested at Prem level. And from what I''ve seen of the Murphys so far in the top flight, our recent outgoing transfer business has been excellent. I think thats the point, you really need to look at this in the round. I thought and said at the time that we had sold him too cheap, but the truth is nobody really knew how he would perform in the PL, even though many of us were pretty convinced he would do well.
Given his stats and performances he was always going to be a success...
 21.
I read somewhere that every club that MM has left has been relegated the following season
So hope that is true...
 22.
Again let’s be honest, Farke is working with players who are young or for one reason or other fallen from form, or never reached potential, all these factors with a huge change in players over two seasons, means he’s done a fantastic job so far. Of course there’s need for continuous improvement, always should be, but you need to balance what players he has and how the staff behind him appear to be getting more out of them than other managers with more expensive squads. Time will always tell, but three wins on the bounce while blooding a number of youngsters can only be a good thing.
If he continues to improve the team, let''s hope he signs a new contract in the summer... Still not the most exciting football I have ever see but there were some decent moves yesterday.
