1.
Has anyone any idea what time they start the broadcast on canaries world, i''ve just got a real annoying beep-beep-beep at the mo lol
Are you getting the Sunderland game? I''m firebombing CanariesWorld tomorrow morning - you''ll see it on the news...
 2. You mean Bates, not Pearce I think. It is a big risk, because he must be a world away from being match-fit and sharp. I hope and trust GR''s done his homework.
 3.
From the Sunday people....... "Shola Ameobi, who is understood to want to quit St James'' Park, looked his side''s biggest threat but wasted four golden chances." In the meantime Martin Taylor scores for Brum, says it all really, Roeder hasn''t a clue. SACK ROEDER AND CLARK NOW!!!!!!!![:@]
LOL
 4.
And ain''t that the truth.
Nope
 5.
Roeder also needs to be lucky with injuries. We seem to have a curse at this club for key players getting ruled out.
That''s the crucial point. When we won promotion, we had all the key players available for selection throughout the second part of the season. I don''t believe in "squad" players for a Club like ours - you need 22 first-team players if you''re going to be able to deal with injuries. We certainly don''t have that at the moment (Dereham 2 - 1 Norwich City XI!).
 6. I reckon Gow (or maybe his agent) blew it by trying to stall Roeder - IIRC he was given 48 hours after his trip down here to commit, and he didn''t. Roeder''s taking his usual tough line, and good on him. I think (hope!) that the players who are here are finally getting the message - stop pissing about like you did last season, and start to earn your money. The Roeder Revolution rolls on.
 7.
If you don''t already feel it Chrisr...you ain''t got it. The soul of the club is that invisible thing that transcends all materialism. Norwich City Football Club used to belong to Norwich and the wider County...
When was this - the 1940''s, 1950''s, 1960''s? Pre-Chase? Pre-Arthur South?
Delia''s little Norwich is sadly now how NCFC is known nationwide...and it will only bother those of us who feel it.
....Just because you feel it    doesn''t mean it''s there.... in the words of Radiohead
 8. Gibbs would be a luxury now. We need a permy CB (we look as if we''re getting Kennedy on loan), and a permy big striker. "Permy big striker" - that takes me back thirty years or so....No more loans please - it seems Roeder feels obliged to select them.
 9. He''s too slow now - seeing him run reminds me of Malky. When we signed him I hoped for great things. He used to be full of ideas and energy, but those days seem to have gone. If we have to get rid of a midfielder, it should be him IMO - (though I haven''t seen the new guys yet!).
 10.
Don''t think anyone reckons we''re gonna win the league though. The fact is, the naysayers were adamant that this season will end in relegation. Now it doesn''t look so likely, does it?!
You''re right Mook - a poster on the Reading forum reckons we''ll finish 2nd, just behind them!!
 11. Glen''s done a really good job on the recruitment front so far - he had to because he''d sacked so many. I like the players he''s brought in, but the best prospects are loans. The others are probably good Championship standard. If we get promoted, it''ll be another major overhaul. But I''d back him to do a good job of that too. His ruthlessness is long overdue here. The best thing is I reckon the players have got the message at last, they know he isn''t bluffing. Roll on the Spurs game....
 12.
Yes he''s good enough judging on performances at the end of last season. As long as he has a side kick to do the runs he''d do well. He''s sharper than ever
Which performances were those?
 13. Do all the 7/8 players Roeder''s brought in so far share the same agent? Because that''s what BlyBlyBabes said would happen - the Board would take the easy way out.And do they look like Roeder''s "Z" list?Because that''s what BlyBlyBabes said would happen.Does he know what he''s talking about?Does he even care?Or is he just a spacebar warrior (with emoticons)? You decide...........
 14.
I''m quite looking forward to the football doing all the talking this season.
Roeder''s had the courage of his convictions and he''s doing exactly what we''ve needed for 13 years or so - who really cares about what Munby said or the tendentious spin put on it by someone who knows he''s losing the battle?
 15.
If you watch Rams'' Goal of the season 06/07 on the same link you''ll see Lupoli setting up Steve Howard with a perfect cross after weaving past the Wolves defence on the left. Quality! and very Huckerbyesque, dare I say it!
Good point, venta. People here are whinging that Lupoli only scored 7 goals for Derby, but Hux''s main contribution (when he was doing it on a regular basis, in the promotion season) was brilliant assists rather than goals. We need someone like that. The Roeder Revolution rolls on....
 16. Any Elgood''s beer - Cambridge Bitter, Golden Newt, Black Dog etc. Or Adnams regular Bitter.
 17. You are BlyBlyBabes ginger grandson aren''t you? You learned the buzz you can get from starting meaningless threads from Grandad. Are you why he emigrated?
 18.
Croft was out best player by far saturday according to most who went. 2nd half Watford away was as good a performance as Hucks EVER gave. He keeps his head down trains hard and keeps his mouth shut.Good pro and would be very sorry to see him go.Saw Bell play twice last season he didn''t play wide either time.......
I agree with what you say about Croft and I like a lot about him, except that he can''t seem to keep a cool head in front of goal. In a number of games he was our best player, IMO mainly due to Roeder''s good man-management, but unless he can score goals he''ll have to go.
 19. Get back below stairs. If I want your opinion I''ll ring for you.
 20. I''d be sorry to see him go at the moment. For the first couple of seasons he looked as if he''d develop into a really good CB. Then his mind wandered a bit... But if the Roeder regime can get him back in line he could still fulfil his potential here. Needs to score a few goals as well.
 21.

Cullum was not even on the radar last time we won promotion, are you saying we had no vision, focus, energy or ambition when we achieved this?
Yep. It happened by accident.
Can you believe this idiot? It was an accident that we finished top after 44 games? If there was one single big factor it was getting Huckerby, which as an inspired move by Worthy. Whatever, it wasn''t an "accident".
 22. Hughes has said Ched''s a major talent (he is too) and there''s no way he''ll be sold. I still hope for a loan though.
 23.
Sorry, you lost me after the part where you met THREE women who knew something about football.
And specifically about Norwich City, and in a different time zone! Stretches credibility a lot, doesn''t it.........?
 24. Here''s something you could try....  pick a Championship club at random, find their equivalent of the Pink''Un forum, and check out what the posters think of their Club''s signings so far. I''ll bet that the feeling is the same everywhere - not enough action so far. It''s just the way things go nowadays - agents trying to generate auctions for their players, and stringing things out until the last minute. I''m pretty confident that Roeder will bring in enough good players, given backing by the Board. And after all, they (according to the man himself) promised Roeder when he took the job that if he kept us up he''d be given whatever he needed at the end of the season to bring in new players. So we ought to keep an eye on that one.....
 25.
why?
why not?
