  1. Clumsy non league!! I remember Mark Noble from Wet Sham putting both Bentley & Helveg out for two months when we played them in the 3rd round in 2005.
  2. Any chance of singing ABOUT OUR OWN TEAM rather than some underperforming muppets from another county. Much as I enjoy their predicament I would rather we were singing for Holt , Hoolahoop & the rest
  3. Should also say again great support but just one plea. We''re Norwich fans supporting Norwich in League one. I don''t care what the blue s**m are doing. I''ll sing non stop about City & wish we had more songs about our players. Yesterday there was a 10 minute spell in the first half where every chant was about the mob down the road.. and guess what that was when the singing flagged
  4. Some one got on the coaches & asked if anyone had left a brolly behind. Said he''d take it back to Norwich & I think said he''d put it on the website (guess he meant official site) Hope you''re re united
  5. Not to mention 11 players in the two squads who played for City at school or youth level, The times they are a changing
  6. Holt, MacDonald, Tudor Jones, Askou, Cureton, Nelson, Semi, Spillane, Hughes, Martin, Hoolahan, Smith, Russell Not bad in 10 games
  7. Ian Dowie, Brian Kidd, Bryan Robson Peter Reid, or anyone else who''s been in & out of jobs for the last twenty years
  8. ok but the best remembered songs of the last few years WLY ans Saf weren''t the simple ones
  9. Just to lighten the mood on here abit or perhaps just because we now have our own players and we can do better than the usual"theres only one Grant Holt" How about to the Fernando Torres song We bought the boy from Shrewsbury Grant Holt, Grant Holt His brother is a Norwich fan Grant Holt Grant Holt He gets the goals, we win the game So City can go up again We''ve got Grant Holt Norwich''s Number 9 Chorus sung ad nauseum Ok it was just an idea cause I''m sick of reading doom & gloom
  10. I''m no expert but surely part of the loan is to Delia & Michael, another £2 mil is to the Turners repayable on promotion to the Prem!! or a change of ownership & the remainder is the securiatisation repayble over a set time or again on change of ownership, so I don''t think it can just be called in on a whim. Otherwise everyone who had a mortgage would be at risk of their loan being revoked. Of course unless you''re suggesting the club defaults on payments. Like another post we all know that sooner or later a club will go into administration & not come out. With our luck!!
  11. As I said to you earlier Tilly I can''t believe they got from the Snakepit to the halfway line (quicker than our defence)before any stewards reacted. I know it was a season ticket he threw but it could have been anything.
  12. 10 mins after final whistle, last to leave River End when requested by steward to vacate my seat. Shock does funny things
  13. Thought Peter Vasper couldn''t be beaten but on todays performance......... I said when we signed him it woukd be Theo if he was good & Tosser if not, so Tosser it is. Saw him at Palace & last week & was concerned but in my wildest nightmares I didn''t think he could be that bad. Young Jed at 16 is infinitely more assured & competent. I honestly can''t see how he can recover his City career from this
  14. March 19 1960 Norwich 0 Bradford City 0 my only ever Division 3 game...till now
  15. Think number 11 was Lathrope, on the right in the first half
  16. Michael Theoklitos. So its Theo if he''s good & Tosser if not
  17. who the ** is the seven letter centre midfield. My brains crashed
  18. In the earlier years City were giving the figues as the number actually attending whereas Ipswich were giving the number of tickets sold. City changed to tickets sold but for some seasons also declared the percentage attending. Apparently both clubs reckon an average 1000 season ticket holders miss every game.
  19. Damn fingers.. I was talking about Saunders in the post above
  20. Took him three years and we were awful for parts of the first two but was bulding a side to challenge ...would he get that time these days especially from the regulars on here
  21. Not saying i believe this but got me thinking about Reading players available. What about Sam Sodge who is free to leave the club or is he going to), Leeds. Would fit the bill of what we need, defender experience, FREE ( prob not cheap on wages though
  22. That was that for info, not saying they predicted it. My understanding is that Ricky Martin would have signed Miller it was Roeder who said no. But it seems to you eveything is Martins fault. PS Was it all Ricky Martins fault there were no players coming through when Sammy Morgan & Adie Boothroyd were in charge
  23. Don''t know where John gets the idea that Cooper was our brightest star, never looked as if he would make a league player. If he was that brilliant I assume he would have signed for another club after being released. Davey was possibly worth a year and Tom Miller who went to Rangers was released by Roeder (injured in his first game incidently). I think Birdman is being harsh on the current crop, I can see several who could make a career. Trouble is you can''t be sure. The only 2 players I''ve seen play for the youth in the last 25 years that I would have bet my mortgage on at that stage were Bellamy & Green.
