1. Pure B.S. I reckon. I honestly think Zimmermann is gonna be one of those that''ll be here for years. He''ll probably end up with a Norwich lass and will be co-commentating with goreham in 15 years.
2. Well thanks everyone. I''m using this on my mobile and there is no picture visible to me. But nice one John in any case
3. Ok, so clearly I''m thick! I watched the highlights but all I saw was ruddy making a save. What did he do?
4. Two seasons ago he made 13 appearances for Dortmund! Dortmund to Norwich in two season and Augsburg only bought him last January. Certainly very interesting. Let''s hope he feels at home here and we see some of why he was good enough to play for Dortmund not so long ago.
5. Surely that wouldn''t be the case Paul. Any extra fee owing to promotion would surely be a small price to pay considering the riches the premier league would bring
6. Let''s just hope we get the right price for him
7. By the way my name is down but having invited pm''s ive realised I don''t even know how to check if I have any pm''s
8. I''m up for a pub meet with like minded individuals in the first instance. Pm me if you like if that''s of any appeal to anyone?
9. Time for people to make stand. City fans did it before with Chase. We need to do it again. The alternative is we just sit back and watch our club fall out of sight to a place where we''ll all be dead before the premier league is in sight again. Delia, Michael, tom. Time is up
10. I agree lakey, I never have understood the "enjoy how good the opposition are". Those are the very reasons the FA Cup isn''t what it was in my opinion.
11. On the subject of Tom Trybull, looking at his career history and looking at how decent he has been for us so far I wonder why he''s never settled anywhere?
12. Well let''s hope it pays off and we get a positive performance and result against millwall.
13. City 2nd. I think people are giving the guy Farke a break. He isn''t getting the flak you might expect. I think it''s because people are finally realising what this "bigger picture" is. Without new investment, we are looking at years of anonymity and failure. Delia and Michael''s rime is up. As for feeling like we have the right to be in the premiership. I don''t anyone believes that. But we do have the right to dream and harbour ambition for that. Why not? Why wouldn''t you want to be successful?
14. I must be watching a completely different guy because I actually think all things considered he''s done really really well. Yes he''s made a few mistakes here and there but who hasn''t? He was part of the amazing clean sheet run we had and I think that his mistakes have only really been highlighted due to our shocking inability to take a hold on games in midfield and our total ineptitude in front of goal. The whole team have been dreadful so it seems unfair to pinpoint him in my opinion. When you consider our pre-season expectations of him and the level of football he came from I think he is one of a few that can hold their heads up at the minute. I was talking to a couple of Brentford fans on the way back to the station and they said the only players they''d hypothetically take off is would be "Pritchard and our number 6". He has the attributes to be a really decent defender for us I think
15.
Let''s deal with Boxing Day first. Lose that and he''s on the verge, lose at Burton then he''s toast. Delia won''t want the hostility for the Millwall game.Hopefully we''ll win both (and we should) and we can look upwards rather than downwards.
Exactly, if the hostility gets to much, Farley will get the chop, delia will get yet another reprieve and the cycle starts again!
16. Creative midfielder.......... "I''ve never heard Delia say anything to suggest she regards herself as either a hero or a martyr." Perhaps I wasn''t very clear, but, I never once said or meant this of delia herself, but it does seem rather strange that as soon as delia receives fan criticism that some journalist or two or three always seems to pop out of the woodwork shortly afterwards to trot out the same "we should all be grateful to and revere the amazing delia" lines. Coincidence? Maybe, journalists looking for a bite? Most probably. Boring, irritating and biased - definitely!
17. So after pointing out correctly so many of our problems that the current majority shareholders and board have presumably sanctioned, he then urges us ungrateful fans to be grateful. For me that is the attitude, the delia is a hero for taking us on attitude, that has got us into this state. She took us on because she wanted to. She supports Norwich and could afford to engage in such a hobby at the time NOT because she was behaving like some kind of martyr. It''s almost laughable.
18. More of the same boring "all hail queen delia" argument. I am grateful she saved us in our hour of need. I''m less grateful for the repetitive errors that have been made. I''m even less grateful of her disregard for the fans at times. It''s as if she and the people that trot out in her defence genuinely believe we owe her something? What do we owe her exactly? I pay nearly £500 a year on my season ticket as many do, along with anything else I may spend along the way. I owe her nothing. Change the record and give us some real reason why we should be grateful she is here. P Quite simply she''s taken us as far as her resources are able to in the modern game. If they don''t actively look for a new benefactor, this great club of ours is going to silently ad slowly fall by the wayside.
19. That''s not how it is for me slugs. Whilst it would be nice (and necessary in the modern game) to have a pot of money, I feel more aggrieved at the repetition of mistakes at board level. The lack of vision for this club of ours. The apparent disregard of any approaches that don''t fit with their agenda. These are the things I''m tired of. I don''t expect overnight success, in fact I love the idea of building something from the foundations up (with or without a pot of gold) that serves us well into the future, but that''s the point, they don''t seem capable of doing that. But regarding what she''s done? Yes she has put finance in, but I''m not going to hold her up as some kind of saint for that because 1) she chose to, and 2) that is a requirement of modern football. There''s no way out of that one. Any major shareholder of any football club up and down the country has done similar I suppose. More to the point. In life, almost everything has a shelf life. I believe delia and michaels is fast approaching if it hasn''t already. I would like them to acknowledge that they ought to move on with thanks and heads head high, knowing they have retained respect of the club and it''s people (us). What I don''t want to see is a repeat of the hounding that chase endured and for to all end in tears. The time has come, in my opinion to wish each other well and look to the future.
20. That''s the message we are given on repeat. But what exactly has she given? Sure she bailed us out in our time of need, but if it wasn''t her it would have been somebody else. It wasn''t beyond the call of duty as such, it was just what many wealthy business owners do when they invest into a new business. Beyond that, what has her regime actually done? In 21 years we are no further forward whatsoever. Under the previous regime we had 3rd, 4th & 5th placed top flight finishes, FA cup semi finals, a European adventure, a youth system that worked, a scouting system that worked, and if we weren''t achieving on the pitch, the ground and training facilities were being developed. Now maybe I just don''t understand the ins and outs or maybe I''ve forgotten things but I can''t help but feel that under this regime we really have achieved very little in the scheme of things, and yet she is defended beyond belief. I don''t dislike the woman as a person but I feel, like with everything in life, her ownership has run its course. I really don''t want to witness her hounded out so I wish she would do the honourable thing and start seeking a buyer. I remember chase resurfacing for an interview about 10 years after he stepped down and asked if he would''ve done anything different with hindsight and replied with words to the effect of he wished he''d realised that everything has a shelf life and that he''d stepped down sooner. I can''t help but feel history is going to repeat itself.
21. To be fair rhubarb, it is obvious what Clint is saying. He''s undecided whether this coaching regime is failing or whether it''s a bumpy road to long term improvement, and that for him, he thinks after the next 6 games things will be clearer. What do you think? Do you think it''s doomed or do you think it''s going to come good in the end?
22. I personally think A block should unite and stand, minus the whinging old git. I can see how they could sling out standees in A block but not elsewhere in the ground. Think they''d be opening a massive can of worms if they carried this threat out.
23. I''m not suggesting he shouldn''t have left. Just a little curious as to why is fans hounded him, yet delia can do no wrong.
