  1. Tettey''s Jig agree with your last paragraph. Plus I think we''ll have blooded some decent Champ young ''uns. If Neil can show us the grit and considered tactics he did when he first came even if we fall short then great. I think we need another coach like Gary Holt though, Irvine seems like too much of a wilting wallflower to me. I don''t know him personally though so could be wrong
  2. Hope that brings some confidence to Neil''s team selection and decision making process for Friday. After Barnsley he looked like a man on the edge. I''m sat firmly on the fence, yes that''s a safe place to be, hedging bets and all but if Neil can take heart in his selections, get back to the basics so to speak, get the players confident in him again (subject to the rumours about him having lost the dressing room?), then I hope we can push for play offs.
  3. I wonder... if the majority of Canaries fans who say "i bet we''ll lose" do so because of reverse psychology? Huddersfield will beat us. I''m going to the game too. 0-3. The rest of my week will be s**t.
  4. If your avatar is anything to go by Jim, I''m surprised they let you go near a computer with all its moving parts. But I know you''re merely being ironic with the use of such an image and you''re not a keyboard dribbler...
  5. I''m curious as to whether Alex Neil''s players give a sh1te enough and he''s being strung up by them but at the same measure, as a good man manager, should he not be able to curb their attitudes?
  6. No. he keeps turning up in the dugout week in week out. Clearly got one of those new phones with the googler on it. Stumped you all he has
  7. Hogesar, I noticed that. Bailey and Davitt seem to be gunning for him. In fairness to them, I know Bailey''s a fan, maybe they''ve had enough of the performances and moaning drivel from everyone who regularly attends the live feed and debates on a Monday. I can''t imagine it''s a great job having to answer the same miserable questions week in and out.
  8. When I saw the two Murphy''s starting I had a pang of excitement. I had these ''Roy of the Rovers'' images in my head. Brilliant stuff. Alas it was not meant to be...
  9. 0-3 City. Even though we won heavily last week the look on neil'': face was a tentative one. Hoping he''s drummed in the anti-complacency into the troops. The confidence should have returned. Given the signs of coming out of the dip were at Derby, I do fancy us for this on the road to redemption...
  10. Also raised a ton of money for charity with bike riding post-footballing days, there''s lots of stuff online about that.
  11. You could take that Ipswich shirt back - you''d be amazed at how far £2 will get you these days.
  12. Fulham did it as well... ☹️ Good job it was against a play off rival!
  13. I''m saving my best posts for page 4/5
  14. ''Course not, I feel I''d rather continue with Pritchard for the time being in that central position and if needs be bring on Hools. The problem is with City sometimes is the continuacy to rely on stalwarts despite having options. I''m excited by the prospect of talent like Pritchard and Canos etc, some are clearly ready and some not so. We haven''t even bought Maddison or McGrandles back into the fold yet... which is a problem in itself, looking at b-teams and that whole old story
  15. How many games has Pritchard played compared to Wes in a Norwich shirt? And yet some are hoping Pritchard will be our new Wes and single handledly get us to the PL? I would say he hasn''t had the time to embed to expectancy generally nor fit the centralised role he''s been assumed. I hope Neil continues to play Pritchard in the position he''s obviously suited to from start as of today, luckily we have Wes and Naismith to hit the central role of the 3 should it come to injury, suspension etc
  16. If the chat gets slightly more complex than ''sack Alex and the board'' it relegates a whole division of posters and things get lonely on here... 😉
  17. ^^ Morty, how long you been posting on here?! People will always have something to complain about *yawn
  18. Barn, my thoughts are I''m a new poster, so keep up the decent posts...
  19. course they''re not, they can''t chat s!!! about stuff they don''t really understand. Or they''re gutted their team lost 2-0 today. Personally I don''t think binners know how to use a computer let alone leave a comment on a NCFC fan site....
  20. What annoys me is that ''supporters'' always have something negative to say about the team/formation from nowhere. It''s horses for courses, so our team worked for today we''ll change it for Barnsley if it fits. Injury prevented us before from reverting from 4-2-3-1 prior. There''s no point rattling on about our teame today being ''winners'' cos the manager should alter it to fit. The smart posters have been saying this for weeks, unluckily Pinto and Howson were injured prior and clearly after today they were significantly missing.
  21. I''m probably giving the OP too much credit, but how about they f**k off cos your team won. Ending a losing streak of 5 straight defeats. Can you not be happy that the team you follow have just won emphatically?! Yes there are mistakes but what about your day to day, don''t you ever make any mistakes? You''re that perfect? Yeah didn''t think so.
  22. Lakey, I''m just saying Bassong gets a lot of flak for being arrogant and ''not caring''. In my eyes he does give a damn, he''s come in from the cold into a defence that''s a wilting flower. He may no longer be Prem quality but as a Champ CB he''s up there. To expect him to prevent further losses after 2 games is wishful thinking, especially alongside Bennett. Give him a few more games and I reckon he''ll become the rock we''ve experienced before. People might say we don''t have that time, but in my eyes we''re aiming for play offs now.
