  1. If Alex Neil can''t handle pressure (and there''s nothing to say since that 6-2 defeat to Newcastle last year to suggest he can) then he shouldn''t be a football manager. It shouldn''t have come to this point but here we are, again. I would like to think that unless there''s significant signs of massive improvement over the next few games we''ll have a new gaffer in charge at the start of the year.
  2. I agree with you, such is that negativity and failure always attracts the detractors. Nature of message boards. I prefer it when everything''s rosy, the banter on here is a lot more fun and positive. But yet I still come back time and again!
  3. I think we''re past the rubicon now, people can swear, shout, boo, voice their displeasure as much as they want about subs or the way the players are putting their shift in. The manager and players are culpable for what we see on pitch. Booing at the start of the season to 0-0 draws was a tad much but it''s got to a point where the expectation levels of the City fans isn''t being met. You could argue we''re been treated since that first run of Prem success with Lambert, exceeded expectations and then the pressure is on to maintain it. This is merely highlighted by the squad we have at our disposal. I go to a game and shout myself hoarse usually screaming inane cr@p at the pitch much to the annoyance of the usual Norwich and Peterboroughs around me. I''ve paid my money so I can voice my opinion. I think that''s half the trouble with Carrow road these days, its like a f**king library.
  4. Yep I get that, and I have played as Left-Back (no puns plz), you could apply your notion to many things when a team is taking a dip. Even Pinto, normally such a positive player, looked agitated, did you see the boot he put into the Huddersfield player on the floor, I think, just before half time? I was like "we''ll be down to 10 men". Lucky to get away with that. I just look at players like Brady and the twins and I don''t feel they''ve been making as much progress as their respective bright starts hinted at and didn''t Colney get upgraded over the summer?
  5. Didn''t seem to bust a gut on Friday. Kept slipping all over the pitch, trying to get past his men instead of making the sensible pass, not tracking back to defend, looked like a damp squib. Which brings back Hogesar''s comments about Neil and his coaching team''s inability to nurture the talent they have at their disposal.
  6. And I thought this was going to be a post about electrical safety at Xmas
  7. Merry Xmas and a happy new year one and all! - I''ll be enjoy my turkey in the Gulf of Silence at my mums in Dereham...
  8. LDC do you go to any away games around you?
  9. Sausage and chips from that f***ing excellent chippy at the bottom of Lowergoat lane. What holidays are all about
  10. I''m going with not scoring more than the opposition
  11. But if you quit, you''d have nothing to post on here about and something tells me you''d struggle to tear yourself away...
  12. Thanks for the report. No early Xmas present for me except a hoarse voice. Outplayed by a team who wanted it more, had more physicality about them and who made a mockery out of us charging down the centre lots. Not sure there''s much to say other than that. I still want my NCFC bobble hat for Xmas though.
  13. Since tonight is my last home game of ''16, (my, what a year!) and I''m back for it ideally I''d love an early Xmas gift other than my ''Yellows'' bobble hat I''ve asked Santa (mum) for. But since I''m posting in this thread I''m going with the score of Huddersfield winning 0-4 and me getting nothing for Xmas but a lump of dry, white dog sh!t.
  14. You''ll check the message board on your phone when you have your post-noon Costa though... ;)
  15. Are you surprised - it gives fans something to complain about. Look how quiet this message board goes when Norwich win, I''ve only been posting a few months but the difference is crazy. I find the atmosphere on here a lot better when we do win though, there''s more humorous banter and less of the same threads regurgitating some other thread half way down the front page because the OP hasn''t bothered to scroll down to check if someone has already made the same point before smashing the keyboard silly with their dribbly chin.
  16. siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh
  17. Be one less team gunning for a play-off place...
  18. Be one less club gunning for a play-off place...
  19. He''s not going to pee on the players surely AJ?! ;)
  20. Klose has been off form. No great mystery. Benno, Bassong and Ruddy have let in 2 goals in the last 3 games. In comparison to a combination of the others with McGovern prior
  21. Ah yes, a top knot is the side shaved and back with the nub on the top, think Samurai. Man bun is tied long hair with the bun on the back, think Gareth Bale Hope that helps you to sleep tonight
  22. ^^Hahaha! Exactly that. I''ve been saying the same thing for weeks. The absolute worst year to be relegated given how tight it is and how bad those teams all are. I even picked those three teams in my relegation sweepstakes. I like the cut of you jib Jig
  23. Hey Zeus! Morty, that''s a bit strong for a Weds morning!!
