As Tilly says I do nearly every game home and away and a lot of the under 23 games, I am at the fanatical end of our supporter base and with seeing all those games come knowledge
Some of the worst car journeys I''ve had we''re in Taxis.
And some of the worst grammer and punctuation I''ve seen are in my posts.
''Grammar'' [:|]
 2.
This will be a good test for us, highly motivated opposition who will throw everything into this game and probably give us very little time on the ball. Looking forward to seeing how we respond.
[:D]
 3. Manager and players are going to be upbeat - players are in form and competing for places - we''re going to rip Burton a fresh ars*hole and remind them of where they belong -- 5-1 City.
 4.
Are the semis not 2 legged anymore?
Yes, I knew that, I was just testing to see if anybody noticed [:|]Well done [Y]
 5. It''s actually three games to Wembley - the fourth game being the Final.
 6. FANTASTIC!! [:)]That was a good return, Morty [Y]
 7.
I can cash out at £91 now though.....
I''d be tempted with 12 minutes +  injury time still on the clock [:|]

 10.
But you mentioning it in virtually every thread trying to show that you know anything about football is pretty hilarious.
Yet, you initially said it wasn''t funny anymore [:|]
 11.

Good to see Thompson getting a run out and tested alongside Mulumbu in the double pivot [Y]
As Morrissey said more than once ''That joke isn''t funny anymore''.
1 - It takes a special type of c*nt to give a f*ck about anything that comes out of that miserable tos*ers trap.2 - The double pivot isn''t a joke.
 12.
Decent my foot. Look at the Everton line up, if we keep them down to 6 we''ll have done well.
Of that team selection it''s only Thompson, Jo Murphy & Oliveira who have never played against Premier League opposition.Have a little more faith [Y]

 14. Oh well, it matters not that I''ve been continuously derided in my attempts to explain what the double pivot means within a 4-2-3-1 [:O] What really matters is the fact that Neil has finally grasped the concept [Y]
 15.
It''s because the double pivot worked really well today -- Dorrans & Howson played deep for the most part and having two deep players in a double pivot is excellent in order to relieve pressure and to quickly shift the angle and the emphasis of the attack, especially when our attack is running out of steam in the wide positions - as an example, Howson & Dorrans would position themselves in a deep position just inside the opposition half and operate as a release to allow us to escape the pressure by keeping the ball, creating space and changing the attack - it leaves the far side of the pivot with the option of playing the ball into space for the attacker to collect or alternatively he can drive into space as both Dorrans & Howson did today and hey presto! They both scored [:D]And there lies the beauty of the flexibility of the double pivot within a 4-2-3-1 when played properly  [Y]
People appear to be struggling with their understanding of the double pivot within the 4-2-3-1 and how the concept of the formation requires two players keeping deep -- please listen to Neil in the following interview at about 2:12: https://youtu.be/28EM8ptNULI  [:|]

 18.
I wouldn''t have any of the first XI that played today even travel up there for this.....give them a whole week of "normal" build up for next weekend ..before then the big game at Newcastle following that . Everton will be taking this competition fairy seriously I''d imagine , and we''d probably be beaten whatever team we picked. best to just take this one on the chin and use it a training exercise to give some minutes to the likes of Oliveira,Pritchard,Josh Murphy,Naismith (??),Canos,Bassong,Ruddy etc. . anyone going up there for this should do at their own risk !?!
[:O] Of the first 11, or from today''s match, I''ve only selected Dorrans, Martin, Olsson and McGovern -- besides the keeper the first three have missed a few games this season and have already had sufficient rest [:|]
 19.
BEAUTIFUL illustration of the double pivot there, Jools 👍
[:|][Y]
 20. I''ve previously criticised the 4-2-3-1 for its lack of two defending-midfielders, but as witnessed today, Howson & Dorrans, two attack-minded midfielders, kept relatively deep to form that vital pivot at the heart of the midfield [Y] For that reason and the likelihood of Neil sticking with said formation for League matches, I''d suggest for the sake of continuity he plays the 4-2-3-1 against Everton.
 21.
Nearly home. Not that Nottingham forest care.
I care [W] Glad to hear you''re safely home, Mr Depardieu [:D][;)]
 22.
Howson and dorrans too. Brilliant.
Forming the double pivot and keeping deep for the majority of the game [Y] Better than the Tettey + Howson combo [Y]
 23.
Sounds like the performance is there. Anybody pleased?
Yep, best display/performance of the season thus far and a victory, which kind of dispels the silliness of people saying only points matter [Y]
