1. LDC you say Lafferty was a great handful when he first arrived yet his goal scoring and assist stats contradict this. Alex Neil sent him on loan just weeks into his reign and hasn''t felt the need to use him this season. What makes you think he would suddenly change his mind?
2. I agree with Morty. There''s some sort of myth that we owe him one or that there''s some sort of amazing talent that we just need to give a chance to. There really isn''t. What has he contributed to us? Literally nothing. He''s got more cards than goals and was out on loan when we got promoted (a poor loan spell too). I don''t know him personally but his attitude seems a bit off, as it has reportedly at other clubs. His threatening of our fans on Twitter is also becoming tiresome and an embarrassment. He''s also been pretty average everywhere he''s been - including at a second tier Italian side. His international goals have created an illusion that he''s an amazing goalscorer we need to exploit, but his club record over the years contradicts this (even in the ridiculed SPL). My viewpoint would be to get rid of him even for no fee - his attitude on Twitter etc suggests he''s unlikely to be a great influence around the club if he''s not getting game time.
3. Unless there''s a drastic change, if we sell in Januaryhe won''t be anything like match fit and could take him several weeks to get going anyway, for a new club.
4. I wouldn''t be unhappy about spunking an extra three or four million quid more on a centre half, over what we''d want to pay, if it meant we stayed up. It''s swings and roundabouts anyway sometimes. There''s a few in our squad, like Redmond at 2m and Wes at 500k that we''ve got massively more and above out of the transfer fees we paid. Sometimes you have to take the rough with the smooth. Personally if a decent offer came in from anyone for Grabban I''d take it. He doesn''t come across as someone who''s gonna enjoy bench sitting, so maybe time to get rid of a potential bad apple. Plus as said, his value is going down daily. A few extra quid in the January coffers could let us bring in at least one extra player which could be crucial.
5. Michu is the same age as Mbokani and around the same height. Definite potential there
6. Haven''t been this bored since a Lake District Canary thread. Zzzzzzzz
7. However long this thread goes on, the comparison of £40m rated Spain International De Gea with Declan Rudd is an entirely ludicrous one
8. Not gonna happen. Not the time to be experimenting with an already fragile defence. The fact that we''ve only three centre backs on our books means we''d have no back up on the bench. Alex Neil sees Wisdom as a centre back.
9. Kyle Lafferty has a similar build and is around the same age as Ruud van Nistelrooy in his prime years. Dark hair as well. Could he be the prolific goal scorer we''ve been missing? Step forward a new Norwich hero.
10.

Oh good, the bickering lovers are back again, but this time Wes Hooly Fan joins them for a threesome.
All Tweedledum and Tweedledee have to do is play the ball, not the man.  The constant referrals to what is their version of the truth is, is a waste of time and frankly a bit sad.
A bit of name calling there, haven''t you reported others for doing the same?Look, this is the last time I''ll ever interact with you. You''re obviously lacking the self-awareness function and an ability to take a joke (or any form of criticism).I''ll read your pompous and patronising posts but ignore them. Because let''s be honest, you thrive on the negative attention. And apologies to posters that have had to read this nonsense, a bit of trouble making that went too far. I''ll stick to the football from now on.OTBC
11. Can anyone recall a more inept thread than this one?
12. I''ll trying passing on some of my useless predictions this week. I''m rubbish at remembering. Good effort from everybody :)
13.

LDC, I have no particular problem with you criticising players, but your constant bouts of being a hypocrite and contradicting yourself make a lot of your viewpoints invalid with no real weight. Criticises support and negativity of regular match-going fans - despite not going to matches, only if a freebie (and in the home end) There''s been a fair few already within driving distance of you already this season. Moans about scapegoating. Scapegoated Snodgrass and blamed RvW''s appalling record on him. Says AN should have an attacking approach and have no fear - stood by, and still does, Chris Hughton for months on end (although this was more likely you didn''t want to admit you were wrong). Accuses posters of bullying and plays the victim card. Yet winds posters up with attention seeking threads. You''re either purposefully trying to provoke a negative reaction or just plain stupid. I could go on, the list is endless tbf.
So many inaccurate generalities in there I don''t know where to begin. So I won''t. Have a nice day.
14. I haven''t seen that much criticism of RyBen. He lost his man on Saturday, but he isn''t the first Norwich player, and won''t be the last, to do it this season. To be totally honest the whole back five could do with an upgrade. We''re going to have to hope we can outscore our rivals in the important games and start the rebuild job in January, but most likely next summer, if we stay up.

16. So a bit like when you singled out Snodgrass and had an agenda against him a couple of years ago then, LDC.
17. I''ve done the maths and come to the conclusion that Thetford Yellow is an whinging ball bag
18. Picking just 11 players has been where AN has been going wrong all season
19. "It''s a bit quiet on here at the moment" ... And you want some attention. The OP has no incisive football knowledge, it''s just an excercise in stating the obvious. As for the team, I really can''t see Ofoe coming into contention if he''s not even made a Premier League squad this season. Personally I''d go for: Rudd - a lack of experience has been bought up, but he''s got more experience than John Ruddy at this age. As for the risk factor, it''s about the same as putting JR in at the moment. Making errors all over the place Wisdom - injury permitting. The fact that AN put in a left sided midfield player at right back against City tells you about his confidence in Whittaker at the moment Bennett/Bassong - no explanation required Brady - so we can put Jarvis further up - these two have a decent partnership developing Redmond - Swansea will play two dangerous wingers and so should we. Mustn''t be fearful, must put out our best players. Biggest goal threat Tettey - back four shield Mulumbu - he''s looked OK so far and should be getting close to full match fitness Dorrans - moves the ball well. Howson needs dropping, he''s been poor recently Jarvis - an out and out winger, probably our only true one Hoolahan - still our most creative player. Enough said Jerome - a goal would have given him a bit of confidence. Gets through a lot of work. Deserves a start
20. This is the most sensible football discussion I''ve seen on the site for years.
21. In a further attempt to sell this articles, James Kent has gone Asian and bombarded the Pink ''un with hundreds of posts.
22. We don''t need a thread to tell us to be positive. It comes across as patronising and condescending, thank you very much. What gives you the right to lecture more ardent fans on how they should support their team? Silly man.
