The problem is he''s saying he hasn''t been contacted but the impression I got from the McNally interview was that they had already contacted all the candidates. Then again, Lennon only said he didn''t have a definite phone call which means perhaps feelers have been put out.

He has a good record in the transfer market and comes with status but would perhaps be the riskiest candidate due to his lack of experience in a competitive domestic league.

If we are announcing a manager Friday as has been suggested, I can''t see how it can be Lennon - surely a process needs to be followed, including contacting Celtic. Surely they would make this public?
