unique 466 Posted April 12, 2014 Whilst I can understand Elmander, Gutierrez and to some extent, Yobo being given short shrift, it was a surprise not to see Pilkington on the bench. Is this an indication that his head isn''t in the ''right place'' and will likely be on his way at the end of the season, or is he carrying an injury of some sort?He hasn''t had a good season but he does know where the back of the net is..... Wishbone 8 Posted April 12, 2014 Must be an attitude or fitness issue for two managers to overlook him...I agree, he''s a matchwinner on his day!
Making Plans 957 Posted April 12, 2014 Trouble is that "on his day" is about once in every 20 games
Juggy 0 Posted April 12, 2014 "Trouble is that "on his day" is about once in every 20 games"Not the Pilkington from his first two seasons..... 14 EPL goals in 66 EPL games. Both footed too.But I think he wants out.

Mr Jenkins 0 Posted April 12, 2014 Yep and he''s had a few runs out and looked way off the pace. His injuries have have written off this season. Thats no reason to assume he wants to leave, unless of course, you actually know something, which you cleary dont.
